Hi, yes, especially if you want to keep everything in small spaces. I realize that I have made some design mistakes, maybe in the future, if the channel will be fine I will do it again with 2 manuals and a pedal board with at least 2 octaves.
@@nippocast A homemade pipe organ with TWO manuals would be actually insane. I also think the two octave pedal board would open up a lot of potential for more pieces, but something like that would take tons of work, wish you luck if you ever do it!
@@nippocast I think it would be great to see more channels that specialise in organ building more towards hobbyists. I am one of those people that dreams of owning a real pipe organ, but the problem is that I don't know what to do, and there is really no one I can turn to for advice.
Is beautiful, but the rib must fold to the inside, not to the outside. This means that the stripes you cut for the rib should have been wide enough for them not to be fully open even if the bellows are at the maximal opening.
Hi Jorge, Thanks for this right observation but, Inevitably, the pressure causes the skin to fold outside. to make it fold inside, I should have glued it to wooden ribbons.
Very interesting! I've seen concussion bellows illustrated in various organ building books, but could never understand why they were required in addition to the pressure regulating bellows. This makes it quite clear. Is this bellows connected directly to the wind chest then?
I've always like these types of videos
Thanks!
It's surprising how much work it really takes to keep the pressure perfectly regulated!

@@WolfieNamira yes... for now the portative organ project is enough

@@lordmelbury116 I agree, this is one of my goals, I'm trying...
So it’s kinda just like a smaller outer resivor… makes sense

Now you need one more thing: A screw to vary the spring pressure on the framework's anchor point of the spring.
good idea, I hadn't thought about it. Thanks
@@nippocast You're welcome! 😊

mine is on the duct that brings the air to the windchest, it must be as close as possible to the windchest.
Hi, I am looking at servosystem to pull the bellows mechanically. Do you have any experience? Does it work with a single bellow?
Hi Pietro, do You mean with a pedal or a crank? I've never actually done that, but you can check out the street organ
Hi ,
Could you please tell me where I could find the sizes of this bellow, I would be very grateful!
It's about 26x13 cm
