The future will never be electric for motorcycles dude.

  • @sjcea0512

The future is not electric. Electric is an epic failure

  • @sjcea0512

That bike can't be a 2005. These bikes didn't come out till 2006

  • @mws3779

It is more of a Road King than a Road King. The bike is great until 3rd gear decides to eat itself.

    the future is NOT electric!!

Have a 2007, best bike ever. Great torque, great lean angle, great ride.

  • @mistermusik

No ABS. Was ABS an option? Does it have a fuel gauge? What’s the real world range? Where is the choke? How hot does it get in the worst stop-and-go traffic, 180 degrees, 200, 220? Quite a few important and practical bits of information missing here. But it DOES have a Hemi! Some of the technical data provided was useful. So thanks. It looks nice, but I’m not convinced this is truly luxurious by the details. That skid on a wet road would have resulted in a fall.

  • @RonOrud

I have a 2006 s model. It is aluminum swing arm and frame. That was a big weight saver.

I love my ‘06 Stratolined Roadliner bought 7 years old with 3K miles. Reckless fairing just installed. I am never going electric.

  • @mikebrown5648

I have the 2014 Road liner and the 2007 Warrior best bikes I've ever had they are some awesome bikes and I still have them right today and haven't had a problem out of neither one of them and that lady in that car😤 in a very good video on this bike

  • @amjrpain919

I have the best of two worlds. I have had a 2004 Warrior for years, and recently bought myself a 2013 Victory CCT! I adore both and now have a full-time hobby of riding, and searching for parts and accessories...😏

Just picked up a 2006 and I love it. Had to get used to the snappy throttle, but otherwise just bonded with it instantly. The only flaw on mine is that the tachometer moisture issue burned the neutral light out. Having grown up on dirt bikes with zero lights and meters, this isn't a concern, but I carry a gallon size Ziploc freezer bag with 4 small, strong magnets inside so I can put a magnet in each corner of the bag and stick it to the gas tank, covering the tachometer whenever the bike's going to be out in the rain. Seems to work like a charm, so far.

Bought one in the uk in 06 traded a 04 R1, when I said I'd have it. I'd never seen the salesman move so fast, I've still got it and love it, it out harleys harley a great ride at 66 it's heavy but I'm not a big guy anyway so have to consider parking, but its low and easy to paddle a future classic.

  • @Jehosaphet

Great video, very thorough examination by someone who so obviously knows what they're talking about...can't get past that woman jumping out in front of you like that, its so terrifying to know that you can be doing everything right and still be injured/killed by someone just being careless. Had a woman pull out in front of me last year, barely managed to swerve and avoid her...went back to view the gopro footage and she had just the most far off look on her face, didn't even seem like she was mentally present. Scary stuff.

They’re much smoother because they have a Counterbalance in the 1900 vs the 1700 roadstar that shakes and vibrates . Great review !!👍👏

  • @m122nj33

i have a 2007 stratoliner s with 10,000 miles on it ,very beautiful bike my go to when i want to ride .

  • @Little_Raff

Got exactly same model, just got rid of the windshield and put Batwing fairing. And it's not a deluxe, its a Stratoliner S. Delux were with the oem batwing fairing. Also got 2019 fjr1300, love riding both. Take care!

  • @YerGoodBuddyKeith

Thank you for this insightful video. You broke alot of the technical facts down in a way that i could follow. I'm a shadetree bike mechanic so while i understand what alot of the things do i don't know the terms or specifics without looking up the individual thing in my hand. I've been on the fence between the vulcan 2000 from kawasaki, the vtx1800 from honda and the roadliner. If you can't tell I'm looking for a roadking/heritage type bike without the price and issues that come with those two bikes. I think you sold me on the roadliner. Three vtx was eliminated because it's shaft drive. I adore chain drive and can tolerate and ignore the a belt drive. For me it's the oil cooling system and the (I'm not going to butcher that Japanese brand name) EFI throttle body system you were talking about. The handling and power differences between the vulcan and the roadliner to me were negligible. The five mph differences in top speed and the half inch in lean angle were all fine and i don't really care about trim packages since i strip everything off for storage right off the bat and ride bare bones. The efficiency of the 1900 and cooling factors will be the biggest benefit to me for my type of trips. Midwest to the south and the west coast. This will soak up that abuse with less wear and my turn key reliability in the vastly different climates will be better than the vulcan. Starting my bike every morning for work is easy to ask for but starting at a camp sight in a desert basin one day and then up top a forested mountain two days later with no issues is a whole other ask. It sounds like for what it's worth the roadliner will be a better companion than the vulcan. Thanks man, I've got a few leads and I'm cleanings up some maintenance and undoing some mods for my trade in this spring. I should be getting on one in the next 3 months. It's going to be so much better on the interstates than my 500 pound 50 horsepower carbed cruiser I've been running all around. Adjusting carbs when your trying to keep on a time schedule has been getting frustrating even though I've gotten fast at it.
