I pointed out it was the only EV with a full sized spare but apperently Hyundai Kona has one, at least in Australia. Full size spares are definately something Australians want. I am not sure if the price is lower here since we are completely open to the Chinese EVs.
Like these`nomark` brand reviews, Bryan... Will now consider the Omoda when replacing my E-208. Prefer soft-driving cars, in truth. And don't need baggage space. Looking for nearby dealers... And I'm in'n'out all day so seat comfort will need to be assessed...

All these Chinese cars look fair value, I'm just concerned about their aftercare and whether all these brands will survive that long. They would have to be giving it away for me to want one.
it does remind me of a 'runout' model, I live in NZ and have an MG ev and it is great, but the new Kia ev3 seems a bit more exciting to look at, so to speak. so would be on my radar as a replacement.
It looks OK. It feels like a budget EV, a bit like an EV version of the Dacia or Hyundai/Kia back in the 90ies. If EVs are to replace ICEVs, then we need budget EVs that ordinary people can afford, not just expensive luxury cars. I also love the spare tyre, something my Kia EV6 does not have. I have been caught out twice by flat tyres.
That boot space and capacity with seats folded down is shockingly small for a car that’s in the mid £30k’s. As you say in the review, it’s just meh all round.
It looks like the love child (AI generated of course!) of a Nissan Quashqai and a random Kia. Like you say no real USP and I fear it indeed needs to be sub £30K to make a splash. The ICE one is pretty hideous at the front end. The grille reminds me of a lattice Danish pastry!
Doesn't mean we should just give them even more I try to avoid buying Chinese wherever I can. They're hostile to us so I don't see why I should stop buying European and help promote a hostile state. @@ewadge
They’ve just taken over a a local Nissan dealership so we had a look at one and I really don’t think I can argue with one word of your review - the ‘Noble’ gets a 1970s style opening sunroof the size of a tea tray btw. To make any impact this needs to be £1000s cheaper, which it may be soon as I can’t see them flying out the door - even the Motability deal is awful so they won’t shift them that way either.

Our local dealer has just started selling these, and the Jaecoo. They have been refurbishing the showroom for months , finally opened last week.
