I used to be a Garcia fan, but I started to realize a while back that he’s a bit of a baby. He may have beaten Faldo’s Ryder Cup points record but he can’t hold a candle to him anyplace else. He’s asked to represent Europe every two years, but he didn’t want to play in 2008. Did Faldo ask him to do anything other than play golf?
Wow, he's STILL trying to throw daggers at Sergio over his miserable '08 Ryder Cup captaincy! Yes, the Saudi meltdown is current events, but Faldo has been doing this to Garcia for a while, to the point where Ian Poulter even spoke up for his team mate about it.
And when you hear him talk about Mickelson or Bubba he can't stand the fact they are naturally gifted and not textbook. I think maybe because he had to work so hard all the time at his game.

Pretty sure Darren Clark in 2016 lost 17-11 which is marginally worse however I don't recall Darren being "thrown under the bus". Was it Faldo's fault in 2008 that the USA team sank so many putts? The better team won, it happens. Faldo chose Poulter as one of his wildcards...… Darren showed too much loyalty to his mate Westwood... how did that work out again?
Never minded faldo just thought he always seemed kinda awkward when trying to be funny IMO like after retiring he's tried to develop a personality and sense of humour good player on his day tho
