He might thrash it off the tee but around the greens he has enough touch to make it work.

Greetings from SoCal 👍. I am watching this video four hours before the tournament begins... DVR is our friend, as I’ll be sleeping when tourney begins. Nick Faldo did a great job on this video. I had a few belly laughs and learned a few things. “Look for trees, there are none and throw up some grass in a 20mph wind”, he throws up eight inch strands of hay! 😂 LMAO! Love his ability to tell a short story 👍.

I was never interested in golf until one rainy Sunday afternoon I watched the 1993 Open on BBC with Nick Faldo chasing Greg Norman at Royal St George's.
    After that, I was hooked.
That swing of Faldo's is still my benchmark of perfection.

I remember listening to a commentator on an American Golf TV Channel many years ago but he was "hidden" behind the scenes so to speak, and i recall thinking to myself, this guy really knows what he is talking about and has a really great way of conversing. I was very impressed. When I discovered it was Nick Faldo I was gob-smacked. Now I was never a fan of him in his day, but my respect has grow for him and as the years have passed I have to say he has matured a lot as an affable personality and an extremely knowledgeable and professional Golf Presenter. I always look forward to his insightful commentary.

Unfortunately I missed in a play off to Qualify when Sandy Lyle won in 1985 having led after rd 1 & Princes GC next door. 1 of 3 in a row in play offs …..still happy days though & am looking forward to the Championship this week..
