    Good work. My only concern with the trunk pan drop off on the other side would be the amount of tire smoke entering the car.

    I just bought butt clamps?
    Where do I get those strong magnets?
    Good Video
    Or Rotten 67 Malibu/ 65 Mustang

    • @Burndown
      @Burndown  Год назад

      They are neodymium magnets and you can get them at Harbor Freight or form Amazon. The magnetic field will mess with the weld tho and if you get them real hot they will lose their strength. so tack and take them off.

    I'd call that a successful removal of a custom wide body kit! And rust, no no no... those are speed holes! 😉👍 Great job Dane, it's looking great!

    Off topic questions,
    Installing fuel lines, and I bought the black braided lines . I was reading the Banning street race rules. It stated, all hoses and lines have to be metal. Am I understand rules correctly.

    • @Burndown
      @Burndown  4 года назад

      Im not sure if the soft black line is ok for fuel or not. Seems like it should be steel braided line. You can put your car together and bring it out. Unless its real un safe they will probably tell you that you need to change it before you come back.

    Do you suggest putting some type of rust converter underneath to stop it from rusting?

    Nice work bud, I’ve learned a lot from this video. Where did you get those magnets. Will you be putting that new sticker design on a sweatshirt? I want to grab a sticker and sweatshirt at the same time.

    • @Burndown

      I got the magnets form Mc Fad and Dales! I also made a sweatshirt design as well as a shirt and they are live on my site now. Thank you for watching and supporting the channel man!

    Gotta stop watching 👀 , making me want to get my 65 chevelle back on the road. Just sad a high 12 second low 13 car ain't what it was in back in 1997.

    • @Burndown
      @Burndown  4 года назад

      Well I can say this. If you go to the track most cars are normal and run between the mid 7's to mid 9's give or take in the 1/8 mile. Everyone on the internet now has an 8 second car and 1k HP but if you go to the track at least where im at you still see lots of normal speed cars. Its about if your having fun or not is all.

    • @Burndown
      @Burndown  4 года назад

      12 seconds is still plenty fast man.
