    www.philhealth.gov.ph/benefits
To be covered, a member must pay a minimum of 6 months contribution before using any Philhealth service, which can be done in one lump sum of 6 months worth of premium or monthly for 6 months.

Sincere thanks for all your vlog's. It's like you're a consultant in Philippines affairs. You're most gracious in what you're doing. May the Most High daily prosper your life in every way.

Great stuff! I am a dual citizen. My American husband will be 70 and i will be 62 when we retire in 8years. Assuming everything is the same when we retire, do we need to pay monthly premiums? What are the requirements in applying? do we need to establish residency first? What private insurance would be great to complement this Philhealth? We already have a house in Tagaytay. A caretaker cleans the house and takes care of the garden. What do you advise? thanks much!!!

If you are a Filipino already then just register for Philhealth. Your husband as well. There are some insurance companies in US that offers coverage in the Philippines. I am not that familiar which ones. Or you can sign up insurance co from the Philippines.

Yung husband ko lang kasi may Philhealth sa amin, sabi nya mag register nadin daw ako kasi baka mas malaki makuha basta ikaw mismo ang member in case of hospitalization..
The same lang ba ang nakukuha ng member at beneficiary?? Or mas malaki pag member?

What if the case rate amount is 10k (7k for hospital, 3k PF) -- in a scenario where doctors don't charge PF, will the 10k be maximally used for the hospital bill?or Is it still limited to 7k regardless of the doctors refusal to charge PF? i hope u understand mu question po hehe

Charging more than what the patient has consumed is illegal...so Philhealth is just like any other insurance
