I'm detoxing all the time. Cause, y'know... that's kinda what the liver does naturally. For free!
the liver can only do so much. it is faced with an onslaught of chemicals, processed food, alcohol, etc. so, you're overloading the liver when you eat/drink poorly. if the liver could do all, people wouldn't develop liver failure, fatty liver, etc.

You are so amazingly honest. I was waiting for someone intelligent to actually say it. Fad diets don’t work, at least for me. I used to run like a hamster for 45 min 5 days on a treadmill at home and saw NO real results. But since I started to be more conscious of what it is that is making me gain/ not loose weight and finally started going to weight training classes I lost 34lbs of baby weight in 4 months. I only go 2x or 3x a week and eat healthier but nothing outrageous. I have more energy and feel better after all. Thank you for being such a breath of fresh air and being so honest.

One meal at a fast food restaurant will have all the calories you need for the day . For those calories you can have
-breakfast :healthy eggs , hash browns and bacon with a side of fruit
- lunch : rice , chicken and steamed vegetables
- snack: a protein shake and a fruit
-dinner : salmon with wild rice and asparagus
Just a sample menu that will incorporate fruits and vegetables and healthy fats and carbs ... instead of deep fried crap

Hey, how to deal with skinny fat situation? i am first time on your channel, i did 30 days shred and lost few inches but unfortunately i had to stop doing the workout as i got knee injury. But i love the way you teach and every my kinds like you.

I eat plenty veggies, filter my water and getting better about exercise...not perfect but better.
Jillian, thank you for the information on how to detox. I just start drinking green tea on a daily basis and I feel so good. I also drink water throughout the day. It makes me feel good the next day. What supplements should I take everyday to help my organs etc
In your video you mentioned a supplements you take but I didn't catch the name. Which is it?

A lot of what you said is true. However, actually with true fasting studies have shown that metabolism goes up after a few days of fasting. Also autophagy (cell cleansing) really kicks in around 24 hour mark of fasting ie. the best detox you could ever wish for! Naturally and for free (albeit with some discipline) we can’t argue against the 2016 Nobel prize after all can we?!
Vera of course you have to change what you put in your body for long term health but taking food away for a few days works wonders! Glad you agree, we can’t argue with science can we? Still amazes me that some ‘health experts’ don’t know this...

Dear Jillian, could you please tell us what you think about drinking smoothies? Good idea or not? There was another video where you said ‘don’t drink your calories’ which is a great advice. What about smoothies? They still have fiber I guess 🤷♀️ not sure, that’s why I’m asking. And thanks for everything you do and represent!
Not good especially if done on regular basis; first you can easily spike your blood sugar even though you have fibre in it. Secondly, the digestion process starts from the mouth, that is the way the creator that made the body intended it.
First of all you look great, second of all about your recent comments without going into it you said nothing offensive or wrong ,your a personal trainer. It's definitely not healthy to push obesity. Plus this is America you have the right to give your opinion. It's also your profession.
Fasting/juice fasting is a great detox for the body especially if you’ve been eating badly for awhile, it resets the whole system and when it’s finished you can start completely fresh a clean diet

Hi Jillian. Like your videos. I was wondering if you can do a video with advice for people with endomorph body types.
What about intermittent fasting as a lifestyle choice with a healthy diet? Like an 8 hour feeding window and the other 16 hours no food? There is a lot of conflicting information out there and it can be so confusing sometimes.
She was on Wendy Williams recently talking about it. Its on Wendy Williams RUclips. She doesn't believe or like intermittent fasting

I wouldn't listen to her on this.... She doesn't believe it's good for you, but she hasn't done any research from what I can see here... Plus doctors are recommending it. Look up her credentials. She isn't a doctor in anything. I believe the doctors that I've been listening to and reading from their books... Not that I don't like her, but I'll ask a person with more of a background in that. Fitness yeah... Even then she has said some stuff I couldn't believe over the years

Jillian do you have any recommendations for back fat? Not like the typical upper back fat that women get under the bra area but more of the lower lat area, even at my thinnest (128) it’s been hard for me to lose. Everyone normally provides about tips for the upper area of fat.

She was right until she got to fasting. "Nothing but juice" is not fasting. A "nothing but water" fast has a wealth of recent evidence supporting it's benefits such as activating longevity pathways by raising NAD levels. Look into Dr David Sinclair's work as lead aging researcher at Harvard, or Dr Rhonda Patrick (PhD in human nutrition).
Any advice on deodorant? Looking for an alternative to the deodorants that have aluminum in them. Years ago I tried a tea tree oil deodorant and unfortunately it did not work.
