Taking the Bellanca Super Viking Over the Mountains to Jackson

- I grab a couple of the boys and we head out over the Rocky Mountains for a quick day trip in the Bellanca Super Viking to Jackson and Grand Teton National Park. Despite a high density altitude and trouble activating a flight plan we had great flights!

The kid was more interested in their phone than the amazing scenery around him. Sad.

What a great video! Loved the day excursion with the boys to do some fishing. LOVE IT! I've got my eyes on a Bellanca 17-30A Super Viking right now that I really like. Just never flown one and don't know much about them. But, you're video got my interest piqued!
The Viking has always fascinated me, as have the Tetons! I flew there with my brother in April. Excellent video!

Last time I was in Jackson Hole was in 1982 on my 1979 Goldwing full dressed. I'd left Portland north through Canada to Jasper in Banf National park. South through Lake Louise, over over the the Continental Ride to the Sun, into Yellow Stone, Jackson Hole, up over Rocky Mr. National Park, Dinosaur National Park to Salt Lake, up to Craters of the Moon, Saw Tooth National Park to Boise and home. 4200 miles if i remember right. Not a single issue with the bike, in fact I never did have any problems with that bike. Brings back a lot of great memories.
Great video. I had a 1969 viking, Felt better than any other plane I have flown including 5 V-Tail Bonanzas and an A36. I may buy another one I found for sale.
My very favorite airplane of all times. It is the only airplane I have flown that had perfect control harmony and balance. It feels like you would imagine an airplane should feel.
The rightseat kid seems to enjoy his phone more than the flight....
