Evan, i watched some other "tutorials" but NONE compared to the in-depth instruction that you gave in setting up and operating this Q2. I'm 82, and believe me, at this age clear cut, easy to follow tutorials are a must. Thank you for speaking loud enough (one guy was almost whispering) and showing EVERYTHING that I needed to know to get started using this new toy.
You appeared to have omitted one of the nicest features of this gimbal; if you tap the button one more time after getting to POV mode, it will go into an additional mode that allows you to use the joystick to get the gimbal to rotate around 360 degrees - it's cool.
The mode referred to below is called 'Vortex'; Vortex Mode (V): The tilt axis rotates 90° and revolves following the movement of the stabilizer handle. Push the joystick left/right to control the pan axis.
it's too bad no one is doing any GOOD vids on how to properly calibrate this gimbal or adjust the motors when the phone gets a few degrees out of level or tilt

the balancing is quite subjective as you can't get the center of every phone. in some cases, there are phones that have the power and volume keys on the same side.
I am having an issues with using this in portrailt mode, like for live feed for Instagram. The Smooth q2 seems not to work for portrailt mode. Is way anything I can do to getr it to way trhis way?

Smooth Q2** Tripod came with Kickstarter backer orders. It's priced well enough that you can just purchase any 1/4" screw tripod to attach. Also, there seems to be quite a bit of jitter to your videos (compared to what I've managed to capture with my Smooth Q2). I'm not sure you've balanced it correctly - per the instructions, you're supposed to balance the phone facing downwards (i.e. camera facing up).

Please Help - I bought Zhiyun Smooth Q2 recently and installed the app on iphone 11. while using the ZY Play app to shoot / record the videos get stored in the app. once i import the content and try to edit in Premier Pro CC i dont get the video only audio is picked up, please advise what is the problem or is there any option which lets the recorded footage directly into the iphone memory. what features of the smooth 4 are missing. Both can use their own phone vdo recorder or does the smooth 4 need its own; dedicated ? What unit has the BT audio for remote mic ?
what about the worst part of this gimbal? wide camera is a mess...the axis show up in any mode that you select....so in order to fix this, you have to press 3 times the record bottom and you will be able to record without the axis in your shoot but from 5 modes now you can use 3...I consider this is not a good gimbal to any one....

My iPhone 8 plus somehow gets unbalanced when I change mode to follow. It gets tilted towards left. Do you encounter the same issue?

Exactly. Even after firmware update it's so much of disappointment having this gimbal

You have to turn of your Phone stabilizer.Video is pretty shaky.Phone Stabilizer and Gimbal causing an conflict.

Quite a bit of wobble just walking.
Hopeless Gimbal, breakdown in 6 months. Zhiyun will repair. after we pay shipping , Cost 300$ to hongkong + repair charges
