I just mix my own orange using various red and yellow inks. Thanks for the video.

This is wonderful. Oranges are the brightest of browns. Thank you @Penultimate Dave.

Orange is my favorite color and Lucky Orange is by far my favorite orange ink. I'm down to half a bottle and it kills me that I can't find a new bottle at a decent price! Been on the search for a close match. I might have to try that KWZ orange, that looks quite nice.

Orange is a colour I really want to like more but struggle to find the right hue. After about 30 samples I settled on Sailor Apricot and KWZ Grapefruit.

Excellent! Love your work on these videos. I just acquired and started to use Blaze Orange. Pilot Iroshizuku Fuyu-Gaki is another orange I have and use.

Tried orange for the first time last year, and went with Blaze Orange. A very safe choice for a first orange, neither retina searing nor too light. Recently tried a sample of iroshizuku yu-yake. Very minor difference. Not worth the premium if only for occasional use.

I have a new Diamond Mini TWSBI and I think one of these might look nice in the clear barrel. I own the Sailor Kin-Mokusei and the Blaze Orange. Thanks for the inspiration!

KWZ is a favorite of them.... Have you ever tried Dimaine Pumkin? That is a favorite of mine. Thank you for sharing.

I'd recommend KWZ Grapefruit. Even more saturated IMO.

      I have tried Diamine Pumpkin.

I really want a bottle of Sailor Jentle Apricot. Kin Mokusei is not as nice IMO. I really hope they bring it back someday. I don't understand why they'd remove the sheen; it's what made Apricot so unique. It's the only sheening orange ink that I know of. If anyone knows of another one, please let me know, I'm desperate for a sheening orange.

Pilot Iroshizuku Yu-Yake can sheen along with Diamine Blaze Orange but I'd say Yu-Yake sheens more but might not be quite the same Orange you're looking for.

@@PenultimateDave Those are good inks but they lean too much to the red side of orange for my taste. I also find the sheen in both of them is less than apricot. I used up the last of my apricot recently and I’m really going to miss it. Hopefully something like it will come along but sheen seems to be very rare in orange and yellow inks for some reason.

I enjoy using Noodler's Apache Sunset but I need to add a bit of red to darken it up a bit.

Yeah Apache Sunet can be nice in a broader nib but in an extra fine, fine or medium sometimes it does need to be a little darker.
