Moss park green is one of my favorite greens I have. I love all green greys, I tend to gravitate towards this color along with olive greens. I like muted colors with personality 😁 I have several of these colors.
Oh wow, I’m so glad I found this video by you & I just happened to get J. Herbin Vert Empire last week & I love it! With that said I think I’ll discover a lot of inks in this video I want to get 😅🙈 (I’ve seen 5 minutes of the video thus far).
Okay, after seeing the whole video I’d love to try out Sailor Yurameku Sukigokoro, Sailor Manyo Shirakashi, write & explore J. Herbin Vert Empire more since I recently got it & try it out in different pens & nib sizes, FWP Moss Park Green (I have the Peter Moss one, have you tried that?) & Wearingeul Mad Hatter ☺️ Do you use these inks on a regular basis & do you have one/more favourites of these? Now I’m going to watch your video where you talk about the gray inks ☺️✨🙏🏼 Thanks so much for sharing!
All great choices! I do have Peter Moss as well, and love it! I'd say I love FWP Moss Park Green and Wearingeul Mad Hatter equally. But Mad Hatter is a little better flowing. J. Herbin Vert Empire is also fantastic and one I use more often, since I have more of it 😅
Love your swatching videos!! I never would have thought I liked any grey ish inks but the shading in some of them is so pretty! I’ll def be including a few of those in my next sample purchase! Thanks! By the way where did you get the bird washi?? I love birds 😍!!
Thank you for watching!! The bird washi is from a shop called Cognitive Surplus! They have a bunch of fun science stationery and gifts :) cognitive-surplus.com I especially love their washi and notebooks!
I have personally not swatched Diamine Safari, but from the swatches I have seen, it is close to Rikyucha but I think a little more olive/brown and lighter. But Diamine is cheaper and would likely have the same appearance in writing pages :)
I mean google translate gives you the option of having the word pronounced. Japanese words can be written the way they are transcribed on the bottles and you should still get a reasonably accurate pronunciation. Or did you mean a more in-depth guide to pronunciation? ☺️
I love so much your swatching videos, thank you so much for sharing, although they are an attack to my bank account, those Sailor Amamoyoi and Moss park green looking so cool. BTW not sure if you know Vert Atlantide from Jacques Herbin, its a grey green-ish, pine-ish shade (not sure how to describe it I dont own it myself, so not sure if it fits on the grey greens but still) and it's a silver n gold shimmer!
Love your ink-sploration videos! Quick tip on Japanese names. They are all VERY phonetic. Like the word "sumire" is pronounced "sue-me-reh" (which directly translates to violet. Both flower and color!) Hope this helps!!
@mydandeliondiaries my pleasure! No need to overthink it... aside from the "ch" , "sh", and oddly, the "ts" sounds, it might be safe to assume that every letter gets pronounced. Thanks again for these amazing ink recommendations!
I’m late to this party so you may know already, but i’ve found colorverse hwang cho to be veeeery similar to moss park green. In case you’re looking for a dupe.
I have several of these Sailor inks and love them so much but Sailor inks have such a terrible smell- I never hear anyone talk about that, but the smell is so off-putting and strong. 🙁
I have been struggling finding greens I really love lately. This video is everything I needed! This type of green is my happy place!!
I'm so glad! Thank you for watching!
Ahh this category of greens is so gorgeous
Thank you! 🥰
Oh i love this swatching of inks…i am watching it for a second time!!! Great job
Thank you so much!
These ink videos are amazing thank you!
Glad you like them! Thank you for watching!

Yay! The muted colors are always good with any kind of journaling and planning :)
I love the color but I don't have a pen that writes wet enough for it since it feels fairly unlubricated.
@@jeremyschuh I’ve used it in a TWSBI and a Majohn A1 capless and it wrote well. Vannes sells a solution called white lightening that can help also.
I'm a huge fan of Diamine Salamander
Me too! Excellent shading 💝

There are a lot of good ones!

Thanks 🤗
Rikyucha looks maybe like a slighter darker Diamine Safari?
I have personally not swatched Diamine Safari, but from the swatches I have seen, it is close to Rikyucha but I think a little more olive/brown and lighter. But Diamine is cheaper and would likely have the same appearance in writing pages :)
Does anyone know if a website where people can go to for pronunciation of Japanese and French etc inks?
Please if you have an option let me know!! My pronunciation needs a lot of work 😥

Wow thank you so much!! I'll have to add that ink to my list 😀 if it's any shade of green I'm happy to try it out hehe

You're amazing! Thank you so much for explaining the pronunciation ❤️️

Thank you for sharing! I have not tried that ink yet, but I will look out for it!
Not to be a bad influence, but Pen Chalet has Wearingeul ink on sale. 🙈
Hehehe we love a bad influence ;) Thank you for sharing!
😇🩷🙏🙌

I'm so sorry! I'm sensitive to sweeter smells like the KWZ inks or even some of the Diamine Scented ones. The Sailor inks do smell "chemical" almost.
