The B-52s are hands down the most fun concert to attend. It's literally a good time from start to end... you go in all nice and dressed up and you come out at the end all tired, sweaty and happy. One year my GF got all done up for the show, put her hair up all fancy, make up and a nice dress and she looked like she fell in a swimming pool when we left the show, that's how much we danced.

We had a place like that back in the Alabama woods. We'd head over there when the dance clubs closed at midnight on Saturday night in Georgia. We'd dance till 6 and had more fun than was legal.
Fred Schneider frequents the clubs here in central Florida and there has been a couple of times we have spent karaoke together and he is such a down to earth regular guy........just dont sing love shack lol. J/K! If anyone sings it, he'll sing along with you.
The love shack was a real place. It was the summer cabin of the family of one of the band members. He used to go there for inspiration to write songs. Sadly, the cabin burned down some years ago. 😪
