This is reversed orchestral version of Rhubarb played backwards. So technically it's just the synth-orchestral track played in the same format as the original version on SAW2. From the 2014 SoundCloud releases.
How can I hear the same song 100 different ways over and over and still be floored at the sheer beauty of its core? Richard makes some truly awestriking ambient music. Unreal
I just wanted to say that I truly appreciate all of you. I briefly talked about this in another recent upload, but I just wanted to say it again. This channel has never been about subs or views, but I still thank you all for the support. I actually enjoy having a smaller channel because I've gotten to know quite a few of you personally. I try to reply when I can, but as we all know, sometimes life gets in the way and doesn't allow you to do the things you enjoy. I'm actually about to go stay with a friend in Australia for a few weeks. Not sure if I'll get another chance to upload before then. I really wanted to get both of these on here before leaving. I'll be back in a few weeks. Cheers all : )

@@JukesMcGee I really appreciate the compliments. My last name is Yarbrough so people called me Yarb growing up. This channel name was actually an inside joke between me and some of my gaming friends. I originally intended for this to be a small gaming channel to share highlights with my guild members. I started making RDJ videos for my own enjoyment and one day decided to upload a few of them. Almost 7 years later and here I am. Never expected this to last as long as it has, but I've enjoyed all of it.
For me, and thousands of others, you are THE go to channel for high quality Aphex / AFX / Polygon Window etc... never stop what you are doing!

As the description says, this is the reversed synth-orchestral version of Rhubarb played backwards. Other people have uploaded the exact same version of this track. I think the idea of reversing a reversed track back to it's original format should be a fairly common idea. Wow, I never want to use the word "reversed" again lol. For the record, the pictures I selected aren't any kind of religious statement. I just really like the way they go with the tracks. I respect anyone for their religious beliefs or lack thereof. I'll link both versions to each other in the description and this wall of text. Thanks all : )

I genuinely fell in love with this piece of music. I really don't know why AFX decided to play the orchestral version in reverse, it surely sounds good that way too, but this way it's sheer beauty. Since SAW2's delux edition is dropping next month, I believe that it might contain the orchestral version in it, stone in focus already dropped as a single, let's see if Mr. James drops something special after the release of it, because since Syro, no major release has arrived from him except those little EPs, sadly.

He once explained the meaning behind the title of "...I Care Because You Do". He was doing so much LSD one night it totally "deprogrammed him" (his words). He stopped feeling emotional ties to anything and started seeing things in a combination of pure logic and drug-fueled confusion. This meant he wouldn't react to things in a normal way, more like a robot. When his girlfriend noticed how strange he was acting she freaked out, and her emotional outburst caused him to instinctively feign emotion, understanding what he should be doing from the context she was providing. "I Care Because You Do". I never would've guessed the story behind that title would be so unnerving.
