I can't wait for the next release. I tried it on Windows and Ubuntu Linux, not yet on Raspberry, but soon. I would need an HF antenna, because I have only ventured into higher bands. I have an RSP1A, I plan to upgrade it to RSPdx, because of the multiple antenna inputs. But our national currency is not my wallet's friend for that.
Thank you for the informative video. As of Apr 11, 2024, I just installed SDRconnect and it is operational. I just created a secondary VRX display, but there is no X to close that display. ------ Oh ----- I can just barely see the X, which is EXTREMELY faint!
Thank you for the video. I just downloaded SDRConnect and I have tons of questions. One would be how can I save my layouts. I can prepare multiple VRXs to monitor 3 different bands on FT8 but then I would like to do something else and eventually go back to FT8 specific configuration. Is there a way to save the layouts and then to manage them? I would like to have a memory of the layouts with comments so I do not forget the reason for a specific layout. I think this was possible with the old software. Also, I do not know how to take advantage of two receivers on my RSPduo.
How does the recording function work? Can you independently control and record each VRX to their own file? Also, would I be correct in thinking that you can record two separate bands if you have the Duo, e.g. Primary in on 2M and VRX0 is on 70CM with each using their own receive tuner?

Would be a huge win if one could scan from a memory bank in each VRX on frequencies within the scope of the bandwidth.
It would be helpful if as you mouse around to different settings, there would be some explanation as you selected various settings.

You are very welcome.

As of preview 3, it is a single recording with the choice of selecting the VRX if multiVRXs are in use. This is for all devices.
why if I right click on the frequency it changes yellow and gets stuck?
I don't know why, I've had no reports of that happening. Right clicking the spectrum in SDRconnect does not lock my VFO
@@SDRplayHamGuides right click the frequency counter/selector, (the numbers at the top used to scroll between frequencies).
If you right click the frequecy readout, that will place SDR-Connect into direct frequency entry mode. Hit ESC on your keyboard to exit this mode.
