I feel I cannot not comment after listening to this story of Namhla . I'll try and summarize my own ordeal I've bn with my husband at the tender age of 18yrs was still in high school hw was working . He wasn't that abusive in the beginning but extremely possessive I tried yo end the relationship many times but he would go to my workplace make a scene even threatened tk kill himself and me . Deep down I knew there is some loose screws in his head . He promised to change his possessiveness and we got married all went well until it came back again and again I was afraid to leave him coz I ddnt know where to go . After my 4th child I left and quietly never gave a sign I was about to live my son was 1yr few months the older ones I left them with him with intentions to come get them when am stable got a job. He looked for me until he found me in another town King Williams town and we were satying in PE . To cut short coz it's long story we went gor counseling all of them Sychologist ,sychaiatrics you name them. But later in 2001 it got worse now I started planning my exit quietly and my daughter was in Matric the others were still young . I stashed money small small in an account he ddnt know and I hide the card. In 2003 I did my exit planned everything to the T with my older daughter I was 40yrs then 22yrs in the drama. What I want to emphasize it's never late to start over it doesn't matter the time frame . I took my kids hired a taxi and ran away to train station strate to Jozi and I ddnt know any1 but God made a way . To sum it up I like the fact that you guys emphasized plan your exit quietly then boom you're gone relocate guys don't be afraid to start over iif it's what it takes for your safety and no posting about your location on any social platforms until you're hundred percent sure live a low profile life mawungaziwa muntu ukuphi . Goodluck ladies am 19yrs free from horror this December I celebrated 🍾 ♥️ my 59th birthday as a free woman never remarried never stayed with a man full time again the trauma I couldn't relive it 🙏🙏❤❤

Never go to back or agree to meet them after leaving.
    Never accept their sorry.

One lesson I have learned from this story is to NEVER DATE in your young age. Wait till you are at least 25 years when you know your worth and value. She was young when they got together and he was very older than her so he knew his ways around manipulation

I don't think there is anything wrong dating young, when it is done right its a great too to break social barriers and makes you get used to rejection, heartbreak etc. As long as the relationship doesn't involve sexual intercourse and you are dating your age.
I am not victim shaming but problem with girls and women is how they are naturally attracted to older men or someone older than them.

My heart breaks listening to this and I’m not even halfway through. I’ve heard about this story but I get shocked everytime. I didn’t even know that she met him at 17? She was a child. She was a minor and he was a grown man. I didn’t even know he married his wife while with her. From the things we heard on social media, we were led to believe she was a home wrecker. My heart breaks for what this young lady had to endure💔 She was just a child, groomed from when she barely even knew herself enough to make any wise decisions.

It's never easy. As someone who was once in a relationship with an abusive and narcissistic man, I can tell you that it's difficult. I used to feel ashamed coz I couldn't believe that this was happening to me. My self esteem was extremely low and I was broken during this relationship. He broke me down. I felt paralyzed to do anything about it or to even tell anyone. I would even go as far as to making up stories about how I sustained injuries.
Whenever I tried to break up with him, he would emotionally manipulate me, he would even cry and beg me to take him back. He would promise to go for counseling and that he would change but the change would only last for a few months. The thing about such men is that when things are good, they are really good. They have the ability to make you feel like you are the only woman on earth, like you are in cloud 9, if there's even such a thing. However, when it gets bad, it gets really bad. It's a roller coaster ride, you hold on hoping that they would change the bad and only give you the good, but it never happens.
I was so mad at myself for a long time after the relationship ended, wondering how I even allowed myself to be in such a situation but I've learned my lesson. It's been 16 years now since I got away from him.

I'm looking at how bubbly and friendly face he has. People generally fall for friendly faces because they don't know what parameters to use to evaluate a person. You usually get a sign in the first days of a relationship.
Also, I'm surprised that there's no one, in all her family, who decided to be "gangster" against the guy.
We need to bring back those days of uncles who get into a bakkie and deal with an abuser. From the day, we feared attending to people like him, abuse like this one has skyrocketed.
Back in the day, many guys knew which ladies to not mess with. The absence of uncles, boy cousins, fathers etc causes all this.

  • @MsMousy82

I am very sensitive to cases that involve abuse, because I myself was in a situtation with someone who put me through some similar situations, ie; left me on the freeway almost 2 hours from home, of course being beat up randomly and getting a beating on my birthday for doing absolutely nothing.
And you know what was even more shocking was that when i finally left, it wasn't planned, I got a spiritual message from my late gran, in that moment I JUST KNEW I had to GO, I got into a hired car and just left with what I could. However even when I had left, he knew where i went and but he didnt have an exact address, of course I was in hiding. He would bomb my phone at every and all hours of the day and threaten me with all kinds of things. It was hard, having to look over my shoulder not sleeping at night, worried about him coming to kill me. Very hard! I even suffered from panic and anxiety attacks!
What was worse is that after leaving, I got a call from one of his female friends who knew about the problems I was facing in the relationship and she offered to buy me a flight ticket back to him!!!?! 😤Although I must admit there were times I thought I might go back to him(Stockholm Syndrome), but thank God those plans never materialised.
Long story short, it's been a few years now and I am past all of that but you know , you never really get over the abuse, it stays with you and scars you.😣
Point is, I too could have been another Namhla, she thought she was safe with family but his need to control her was just so twisted and deep he just managed to catch up to her and ultimately finished her off. 😞😞😞I really feel for this young woman. It was such a hard and horrible situation to be in, very hard, she definately endured ALOT, but I can see, for me, if I stayed just a little while longer, I too; would have been a statistic.
So if there is anyone reading this right now that is looking for a way out and feels paralyzed by their abuser, please know this "there is life after this misery" Don't wait till you become another case! Leave and HIDE. It may seem hopeless you might not know where to go or where to start, but start by walking out that front door and don't look back!!!!

This is why it is very important for women to have financial independence.
When you witness red flags(especially aggression)in a relationship, leave!!!
Remember that staying is also a choice.
It enrages me that GBV is something we talk about everyday.🤧
Every single time we watch the news, it's expected to hear a case on GBV.
Ppl know an abuser, whether be neighbors, friends or family and when they don't stand against it, they are equally responsible for the murder of the victim in my opinion.
Ppl(men in specific) don't have to be taught that they don't have entitlement over another person's body!
Murders are walking freely amongst our communities and police can't help us. I'm afraid that violence is the only way to deal with these evil ppl and bring justice for the victims.
LORD WE ARE TIRED! WE ARE TIRED AND ITS ENOUGH!😭🇿🇦

The level of abuse this monster exerted on this poor girl will never cease to amaze me. Namhla was more scared of leaving Major because she knew the repercussions would be dire, not knowing that at the same time being with him would unfortunately be her untimely demise. I hope Namhla is a peace. Rest well angel ❤️

If there is anyone out there who believed Major didn't kill Namhla I hope they starting to see the light. Nalo Major was something else kodwa seriously uzoshaya umuntu phambi kufamily yakhe and le yokumshiya in the middle of nowhere i cant think what kind of the life Namhla lived bakithi kwanzima. Maybe nonkosikazi wakhe ubeshaywa nje. Thank you for covering the story gal. The man is crazy ,he will have his day and I can't wait. I love your recommendations you need to her a plan if you planning on leaving them. He just wanted her out of her family house one way on the other he is a cold hearted animal😳😳 Uthini u Bheki Cele yini innocent death? I don't think imurder can be labelled as innocent. I will share this video with a lot of people I am happy you did this video because I had forgotten about Namhla because no one talked about her anymore and the only way people will remember that her family still needs to get justice is we need to say her name often and I applaud her sister for sharing the story of Namhla as gruesome and distasteful as those pics and videos they were an eye opening moment to someone who is in a similar situation.

I think that when narcissists get money, respect or elevated status, they need subjects to boss around and exert pressure on. They want people to praise them / glorify them and when they don’t get it, they lose it.

I could hear you get emotional in your voice towards the end, i felt that and a tear jst rolled down my cheek... This ia deep, but I know God will deal with this man. As long as he does not repent, come clean and ask for forgiveness, he will definitely endure the pain of suffering. GOD ans karma will deal with this man, let him enjoy this while he still can, but it will not end well for him, his day too shall come.
