@lucadoesthings It works, it just restarts the Wii, the wii u to wii mode just restarts the console to go into a mode and viceversa, it changes modes in the Wii U, in the regular wii it just restarts

Today and Tomorrow Channel doesn't use online services. It's an offline channel, which means it will work forever.

That is a Wii U. Its just in Wii mode, you can tell because the picture is way better than a Wii would output. And also the "Wii U menu".
U sure though about the output resolution though. I use my wii in component with high quality cables and it looks the same.
