One of my SCCA sponsors had a 904 which eventually had 212 HP. This, according to his dealership manager and racing partner, an RSK owner, was due to head work carried out long after the 906 was in production. In 1965 these two finished third overall and second in C Modjfied class in the Marlboro 6-Hour, sharing a 356C 1600 SC.
I remember the Marlboro racetrack! We used to see Cobras getting airborne coming off the oval onto the road track. Very twisty track, the V8 cars were a handful there.
This is a pleasure to watch. I just thought why would he have given away the Targa-Mans type. Probably to buy and build the lofty premises we are looking at :). My orange 904 was from a 'Stabocar' Slotcar track, also sadly lost. Thankyou.

I would have liked to know what it weighed, not much probably.
904 Porsche weight is probably 1,550 lbs. which is about 100 lbs heavier than the original 4-cylinder car.

Not long after the 904 was designed, the soft fuel cells came on the market and were retrofitted into most race cars. I bet he has one.
