- as the end of the year rapidly approaches, i find myself collecting every bad memory i can think of and dwelling on the hardships and challenges that faced me. i let the good in between fade out, and rot in the bottom of my camera roll. i sit in bed longer than ever before, living out the last days of "the worst year ever." but last year was the worst year ever. and the one before that.
ive scooped up all the goods and compiled it here, where myself, and everyone can see that not everything is always bad. It will never always be terrible and hard, and scary. It will have laughter and fireworks and good company. i hope whoever ends up watching this video knows how difficult it was to be here with you all this year, and how much i pride myself in continuing to push forward, to create.
if i can do it, anyone probably can

I'm gonna have a short boomer moment here, and just say how sad this made me feel, because I realized this type of life is mostly gone for good for me.
I ain't even that old, just closing in on my 20's, but when most of your friends are abroad, married with kids or just drained of all the energy due to their dead-end jobs, it gets pretty hard to find the excitement in life.
Chillin' in the park or at someone's apartment on a Saturday night is the epitome of leisure for a post-grad life.
Still, I appreciate your creativity and the perceived zest for life. It's truly an inspiration in some way.
i'm kinda late on this vid but i just discovered your channel and i'm just binging them lol. these videos make me want to make the best of life as a teenager and create like there's no tomorrow. so thanks for these little things
This actually made me cry. This video made me realize how I've been taking everything for granted even if it's only little moments. I instead, choose to sit in self pity. No wonder my life sucks, because I don't appreciate it for what it is. Thank you, this is beautiful

You don't know me but I've only got seven months till my eighteenth, I fear that I've wasted a significant amount of my childhood. I feel that I missed things other people my age have done and recently I got ghosted by a friend of mine after we hung out last month. And its not like I've known this friend for a long time no we met in late October and she stopped talking in mid November. I just felt really close to that person and it felt like she felt the same for me at least for a little bit and then she left without another word, I don't know if it was something I said or did but I tried to apologize to her later over text if I made her feel bad in any way she didn't show or tell me that but I just wanted to make sure. I never really got to say goodbye which also bummed me out and I wish I could just see her in person and talk but I know I need to respect her boundaries and if she doesn't want to talk then there isn't much I can do. Thank you for posting this video it helped me vent and reflect with everything going on in my life right now I'm going to try and move foward. (Sorry if this is just a paragraph of schizo rambling Idk)
im the same im 17 and in 6 months ill be 18 and ive realised i have wasted alot of time just doing fuck all, being reclusive and doing drugs. It makes me genuinely want to hit a restart button and redo my life up until now as i feel as if i have nothing to remember from my youth thats positive. i think the only way to not be sad about the past and hold regrets is to really look forward to the memories that are to come and enjoy the present as much as you can which is what im going to try to do going forward as i dont want to feel like this in another 18 years. I also tend to ghost people so your not alone there, ill disappear for like a month every so often not talking to people then come back like nothing happened which scared people cause ive been known to have a shaky mental health, sadly ive ended up pushing away alot of my old school friends when i went to college which i deeply regret doing as i had no reason to and most of the people i know now are the ones that put in effort to talk to me whist i was in my rough spot which i really appreciate and im going to work hard to keep those relations. honestly though if you dont want to push people away find the courage to actually just talk to them and check on how they are every so often and im sure they eill apreciate the effort you put in to want to stay in there life. (video was sick btw keep making more)
i used to feel like i was wasting my time and my potential a lot. i seriously just started going outside and making art and biking everywhere and taking videos and pictures of everything. find something that makes you happy, that makes ur brain want to move and learn more. grasp onto it. move forwards with it. 18 is only the beginning of so many more adventures and people. love u stranger
