This actually happens a lot and is very common. I was friends with a guy in college and as he was a year older than me I treated him as a big brother. Never ever had I given him any mixed or wrong signals and maintained a clear boundary. I literally used to tie rakhi on his wrist every year. Suddenly I got to know from his behavior and some of my friends that he had feelings for me. When I confronted him he started crying and begging me to stay friends. I was shocked that he had such feelings even after calling me a sister! We stayed friends for a while as I truly felt pity for him and as he would start crying if I keep distance. But then he started being possessive, started saying mean things to me out of the blue, created conflict with my crush back then and what not. Fed up with all this I finally cut off all contacts with him. But even after all these years he still says horrible things about me behind my back, says I've used him somehow (God only knows how), still used to text me from different numbers, and even bad mouths my parents. And after all this he had the guts to claim that he "loved" me. A girl who clearly stated 1000 times that she considered him as a brother. That incident literally left me traumatized and I'm very careful nowadays while interacting with men.

Almost 4 yrs of relationship, Just had fight with her, she (every now and then) tells me, i do nothing for her- Her wants: she directly told me that she wants a dog bf, if u cant be one jus go. I was just crying Hard, She was talking in a cold way, like not caring, told me not to do this drama (my crying was drama) in front of her, Leave aside saying a sorry for this, she didn't even comforted me, Told me jus be that dog or she will find someone else.
I know the ideal thing is just to leave, but the attachment, love is real. I just care for her. But this type of her attitude, behaviour is growing.

Bro first ask her if she really means it if you were in a relationship for 4 years then this type of attitude isnt possible in a normal relationship. But if she really wants it then there are two things
1. Dump her if you arnt a masochist. Look at her messages and think a man saying it if it feels neutral then you may be misunderstanding but if the messages make you feel angered or sad then why are you in a relationship with her. Most of the love that you have is not mutual and you have to understand it. It might feel hard for you but control yourself from destroying a lot of time from your life.
2. Although i dont think this is an option for me but still if you can try to talk it out and ask her if she really wants to be in a relationship with you if yes then ask her to never send these type of sadistic messages and if she does it again you have to dump her and free yourself from this toxic relationship you think that you are doing nothing bad but the affection you are showing is mostly irritating her. but if no then just have a breakup.
