Alex is completely right about dating sites. I've never had a relationship last that came from a dating site. My happiest relationship started with a girl I met in a group I'm part of on Facebook, who asked me one day if I wanted to chat and write.
Sadly, I lost her indirectly to Covid back in September 2022, God rest her soul, but that was the happiest relationship I ever had.

So happy to see the podcast comeback after a long time. Most podcast seen to mostly talk about certain subjects, but this one feels like it is a bunch of people getting together and talking about the random things coming in their mind as the podcast goes on. I feel that makes it more entertaining.

Regarding their WPE characters, I do recall starting watching their stuff around a year ago and while I didn’t think it extended to non-RUclips life, I did think a lot of the ribbing was really harsh. It just took some getting used to, and I will say having some genuinely sweet interactions (I think they were usually in the Sims series) helped to correct those early perceptions
if it hasn't been mentioned I think the book Ellis is talking about is called war stories for young boys its a series from J. Eldridge

I love the podcasts! I appreciate Ellis mentioning shingles tho coz I got shingles when I was a teen, on the inside of my thighs I think. I’ve never had chickenpox, and I did think shingles was based in older people but young peeps can get them too! My Nan recently recovered from shingles and she got them on her shoulders I think. Can’t remember a lot of what it was like but it was bad. Thanks Ellis! ❤️
Jacksepticeye and Ethan Nestor’s podcast Brain Leak has a recurring segment where they do an agony aunt type thing where they purposefully answer lowkey serious questions and situations in the WORST way possible. it makes for some really silly tangents and imaginary situations. very cool idea and i’d love to see you guys so something similar with reddit posts

My partner has a large deep scar on his back from chicken pox because he had a rare case where they went inwards and he developed sepsis because of them, he had to have a drain in his back and was laid in bed for 6 weeks at 10 years old , honestly chicken pox and shingles are awful to have ,even though they are "typical" childhood diseases they are brutal x

For what it's worth. You are all amazing people, and Gabby you are 100% my favorite. I don't go too far back to watch the videos because they don't have Gabby in it. I'm Asian, so at the age of 13-18 you have to go to Middle School. My teenage years was quit good since I've got to meet some of my best friend for that period. But after I reached like the age of 15, everything went to shit for no reason. I was a chunky boi for all my life so I get it some might not like you before they get to know you. But when I've turned 15, I've been noticing these 2 friends which I'm not close but we still know each other started to bully me for no reason until the day graduate. And talking bout my first time getting drunk, me and my classmate used to go on these end of year trips every time we went up a level in shcool. So this time we were heading into the final year so we went on a trip to a holiday city nearby our school. This girl's dad who is in my class decided to give us 2 bottles of whiskey and vodka each so we can enjoy on our trip. So when night comes we all group together to play cards and we started drinking. 2 hours later the girls all went to sleep or went out to buy supper. Me and my 3 friends who still are playing cards just kept drinking. Then we decide to have a drinking game to see who can hold their alchohol the most so we went to ask the girl who brought the alcohol if we can finish it. she said yes and then we finisih 1 bottle of whisket and then the bottle of vodka. That was my first time getting drunk. one of my friend vomitted after 4 cans of beer. Guess he really is a lightweight

Everyone looks soo lovely and I love how i can finally put faces to everyone don't listen to the bullies you all are beautiful people each deserving of compassion keep doing your amazing work.
Literally everything you said about "knowing each others limits" etc, is always what catches me off guard about you guys. I have some very hard limits, due to massive trauma etc, so it would be fair to judge I'd never fit into this type of group/show. But goodness I cannot help but wonder if it was set up 'just right,' what would it be like and if I would enjoy it at all. You know? You guys have some jokes that'd just absolutely never fly with me. However, knowing the context and content y'all have just makes me ceaselessly curious about what is and isn't ok for my own personal self.
Also, gods is it hard to learn ones limits when you're trying to not become a doormat anymore. Sweet baby jesus.
Anyways, I liked the last bit because it really is a great point to really think upon and also helps people realize you guys are in fact real people and they shouldn't be shitheads to you all the time just because it's online. Maybe even a diaper change or two for them xD

59:27 On par with what Alex is asking, I think the reason why people would give you odd looks is because WKD, and alcopops in general, are considered as "Teen girl" drinks because of how sweet and cheap it is and the majority of its consumer base was underage or young adult girls. Or at least it was in my area and surrounding towns growing up. Thankfully, most people in my school didn't care about that notion and drank whatever they wanted, even the popular kids drank WKD or Smirnoff Ice.
I'm not much of a drinker myself and I have a terrible sweet tooth. I've tried liking beer and what not, but I don't like it, if I were to drink it'll be a cocktail or something. Drink whatever you want, as long as it's responsibly and you're aware of the potential consequences.
