Kevin Nash sweating you, not for doing it, but for not negotiating the merch, is the most Kevin Nash story I've heard. Everybody wanna talk about its a business until it's time for a business decision
Did you at least get paid for the shirts. That’s Kev
Getting the loot is definitely Kevin Nash. He charged 50 bucks for a signed pic at a convention when everyone else wanted 40. I still paid the 50 bucks.
@@rogueprince1341 why would you do that?
@Hose Pipe he was my favorite wrestler growing up, out of nostalgia, I guess.
@@hosepipe “a fool & his money are soon parted” Paying a millionaire $50 for a pic is wild lol
Thanks for using my question Sir
I like how Kevin Nash and the late Scott Hall like to rib in a positive way.
Keep in mind that these are also the same guys who would have filled Lawler's crown with feces and provided some of that DNA for Sunny's slop bucket.
Stevie always seemed like a "regular guy" to me. He comes off that way on these interviews as well. Just so genuine and thankful. Fun fact... back in his ECW days I would see him out and about from time to time since he lived not too far from where I did. One time I seen both him and meanie at a local Burger King. Another time at "BJs Wholesale" (which is similar to Sam's Club). He was right behind me in line purchasing underware, lol. Another time I saw him at Franklin Mills mall just shopping. I've seen him a couple of other random times too. Never had the guts to bug him though, I really didn't want to bother him, he just seemed like such a regular guy doing things we all do. Although that time when he was behind me in line I did say hi to him and he said hi back.
I saw him in a EBGames one time when I was like, 12. Dude towered over everyone in that store. Dude was really nice.
From watching videos. I’m sure he would have loved you saying hello as a fan.
All the best
His impersonation of Scott Hall was actually spot on lol
Say what you want about Nash's seriousness as a wrestler. As a ribber, he's a legend.
Nash was serious in the WWF. Hell - in-ring work - that was by far his best because he cared. Hall and Nash stopped caring when they went to WCW because it was just a paycheck. You can even tell in their demeanor in the nWo; they were happy to be on easy street, but they missed how WWF pushed their limits and actually perform at a high level.
@@drseussofporn Ehhh worst drawing eventer of all time. It might have been his most serious time in wrestling but he wasn't at all that serious. His promos were SHIIIIIIT. I mean he put NO effort into them the way he can. His matches stunk, period. But I never found any of Kevin's in ring work all that good especially to be a main eventer champion. NWO was ok until the over all takeover with everyone joining and Wolfpac can suck a nut. They did nothing but come out, say the same quotes (so did NWO and it really wasn't all that great) and their matches were forgettable.
Nash as a human seems mostly genuine however and chill.
@Kasigi03 Worst drawing events can't really all fall on Nash, business wasn't red hot across the board. But that didn't mean he didn't take it serious. The WWF tried to push him as a smiling baby face and that wasn't him; he was at his best during the Taker/Shawn feuds when he could just act like a badass and give that precursor Austin tweener attitude. As for his in-ring work in WWF, revisit some of the matches. I'm not saying he's a Scott Hall or HBK, but he gets a bad rap as a poor worker. For what he could do, he was good. He is easily one of the best big men in the business when you put him into the same category as other workers with his height, even a better worker than shorter "superstars" WWF tried to push. I would take a Bret/Diesel main event any day over a Bret/Warrior match. I know that's probably obvious to anyone, just making the point that Nash wasn't nearly as bad in the WWF as the historians would have you believe.
@@drseussofporn Who the hell brought up a Bret/warrior scenario, lol. And no, I would never consider him one of the best big men in the business. FAR more better guys around his size. I also don't need a history lesson, I lived through it.
@@Kasigi03 dude say what you want about 1995 wwf but it was a fun time. Wrestling these days could take a page or 2 from those times when Diesel was champion. Diesel had a really great match with Bret and Undertaker. And when he was in Wolfpac he became very over as a main eventer.
Nash and Hall: "Dude it's totally cool we don't care we think it's awesome."
Hogan: "Doesn't work for me brother."
Prodigy was THE PLACE to be as a wrestling fan in the 90's. Bob Ryder ran the wrestling area, and between the chat room, live chats with wrestlers, role playing federations, trivia, and best of all, live play by play from the ECW Arena, it opened a whole new world to wrestling fans.
Funny that "Prodigy" also a name of ECW wrestler (Tom Marquez) 😄
@@kidwaryodproduction And also The Prodigette. ECW had lost a lot of talent at that point and was letting pretty much anybody onto their TV. We can't forget The Muskateer.
@@kwmusic4560 Whoa! never heard "The Musketeer" before. He can easily fit in some strange characters in "ECW Anarchy Rulz" game. (This game also makes me know The Prodigy for the first time haha)
bob ryder still runs an efed from what I hear
@@mr.c4p That's pretty impressive considering he's been dead for 3 years.
Kevin Nash is a dudes dude. Great story to hear. Been loving the interviews with Mr. Richard's. Dude was so funny!
I do love the confirmation that Scott Hall was a cool guy backstage. Razor Ramon/Scott Hall was always one of my favorite guys and it was just such a shame what he went through. Watching through these interviews, Stevie seems like a great dude too; always thought so on the show. Really liked him as a face. He was like the 'everyman' wrestler. All the positivity of an RVD or DDP, but fairly 'stripped down' in terms of gimmick. At least until his heel turn.
Scott was a great guy, very positive attitude towards everyone. Kevin is a great guy too. Together they were unstoppable.
Outsiders kliq 4l
Are you talking about the same Scott Hall who attacked a sleeping Marty Jannetty?
@@quentinkaasa47 that's right limp dik kliq 4l
@@quentinkaasa47 2 pump chump
I consider Hall to be one of the best pro wrestlers of all time... I like Nash's mic skills a lot, but his in ring skills leave a lot to be desired
Haven't laughed like this in ages, love this story 😂😂 sounds like classic Nash & Hall and Stevie tells it so well
My favorite kinda chaotic neutral character sees money left on the table as a sacrilege.
You know, I do need a new bWo shirt
“BUY THE SHIRT…BUY THE SHIRT…BUY THE SHIRT!”
I’m on a crusade to get EVERY form of ECW merch and iconic old school (mainly 90s) wrestling merch, items and games too.
The only reason nothing bad or negative came out of this bWO thing with Scott and Nash is because the sneaky runt Show Michael wasn't there . That jerk is the real trouble starter in every 'incident ' .
I enjoyed watching Stevie super kick Santa for not delivering that toy train he always wanted 😆😆😆.
I remember that episode of Hardcore TV!
Legendary
Whenever I read Richards name or see him in a video i always remember the chair shot on JBL revenge from Blue Meanie assault from JBL
Ayyy that chair shor was gnarly. JBL got what he deserved
@@brandonyouth5241 How bad did Joey Styles punch JBL?
According to Stevie, he didn't do it on purpose. He screwed up because he isn't used to giving chairshots to people as tall as Jables.
what disrespect to his career thats all you remember, get fucked
Stevie Richards is awesome! Great guest!
I'm being 100% honest...I couldn't stand Stevie Richards back in the day (can't put my finger on "why"...just didn't). Watching these videos has given me a new respect and appreciation for the guy
I never liked Syxx but Scott Hall was awesome at least in the ring and on the mic.
Scott was awesome in life outside the ring.
Syxx don't like you neither
@@justinditzler4168 He doesn't like you either.
I like 1.2.3 kid but i dont know when he moved to NWO and DX he just came off like one of those gnats jut buzing all over the place. He just came off so annoying lol. I dont know why.,
Man, Sean Waltman doesn't get enough respect put on his name... there's a reason he was the litmus test for new guys.
"Did you at least get paid for the shirts?"
In ECW, you were lucky if you got paid for wrestling.
But this is great, a classic rib. Get Hall to make you sweat all day, then Nash makes you sweat just a little more and then being all business.
“I never had a problem with Stevie and the bWo.”
I would love Stevie to guest star on Kevin's podcast
The bWo was legendary. My favorite part was the chicken bone! Brilliant parody!
Stevie is my new fav interview…🎉🎉🎉🎉
There wouldn't be a BWO without Hall and Nash, not a lot you could really say back to him.
Yes, you cant have parody without source material, correct
Stevie Seems like such a nice dude.
Thank heaven you survived that interaction.
I feel bad for Stevie Richards aka Michael Manna because I know how Scott Hall used to bully him badly.
Nash and Hall refused to treat wrestling like "a dream come true" and treated it like a job. Make as much money as possible and ignore whatever carny bullshit promoters say to try to short change them.
He aint lying about Scott Hall, true professional and a very good worker. He gave more than he took .
Hogan being disingenuous surely not 😅
James, when does this entire interview go up on RUclips pal?
Some ppl just dislike nash n co because they don’t like the kilq however so so many wrestlers of the time tell you that they had a great mind for the business. Kevin nash is a kind guy , and he loves helping younger wrestlers . I find it crazy that ppl judge them without knowing them at all
I think it stems (fairly or unfairly) mostly from what we heard about Shawn Michaels' actions. While they were a group of friends. When you hear Hall & Nash talk about the business, it's mostly about money. Making the most money, or manuvering to make the most. When you hear Shawn & Triple H talk about it, they always wanted the top spot. To be in the main event, for better or worse. Waltman was just there to shit in things on command I guess.
Nash is so kind he even shares his prescription drugs and with his own son, as well as helped cultivate the alcohol habit that eventually led to his death. Nash is such a Father of Year he'll even go on his new podcast with Sean before his kid's body is even cold. Nash is a really great guy.
Nash buried a lot of people's careers.
@@Cokehead_Drug_Addict_Zelensky Weird how you try to dig into something you know literally nothing about. The man's son died, dude. If you watch his podcast at all, you can definitely see the effect it had on him, even now. Don't talk out of your ass so much next time you wanna comment on someone's personal matters.
@@jimh.412clown
I don't think Hall ever injured anyone in the ring (I mean beyond the usual minor scrapes/bruises which are unavoidable in most cases I'd imagine). That's how good his 'in ring' work was.
Halls finisher was one of the safest finishers he can make it look like you ending up getting fractured bones but as his opponent can attest they pretty jump up at the chance because he was known for having one of the safest if not the most safest finishers of all time.
Bam Bam and Yoko were really safe to work with too.
@@charlesevanoff4870 Some of those Banzai drops Yoko did to jobbers will tell you a different story.
did you at least get paid for the shirts? pure kevin nash
I can just picture Scott saying "oh I loved it. I laugh my ass off at it. But Kev's gonna kill ya"
When you give respect... You get respected.... If you say otherwise then Kevin will show you the other side ....
I can clearly picture nash sticking his head out his car windows yelling to stevie as hes walking away after telling him its a joke saying "Hey dude how much did they fucking pay for the merch sales".
Retired Stevie looks like modern day Adam Cole
Nash always get ragged on for his ego but it always sounds like he's chill
He’s a strait shooter.
Love Kev for stories like this
I love this. Makes Nash, Hall and Hogan sounds super cool.
You do realise he was not praising Hogan at the end there? 😂
Of course Hogan “popped” for you because you’re not a threat to him. If you were main event statues that “pop” would turn into to “that doesn’t work for me brother.”
Love hearing this.
Love Stevie - in great hands with James
Stevie looks great
Stevie looks like a mix of Adam Cole and Cm Punk
😂 awesome story
Big Lazy
This might be one ofbthe first times I have heard someone say something good about Hogan
Listen again. He was not praising Hogan, he was saying how full of shit he is 😂
Nash seems like a full on good dude.
stevie is such a cool guy, must have been such an asset to have around in wwe for his wrestling mind and just ability to be fun and professional at the same time
I want to hear Kevin tell his side
As if listening to Stevie doesn't bring you back in time already, he goes and mentions instant messaging on Prodigy.
hahahahah thats hilarious
I never had a problem with BWO
You know, I never had a problem with Stevie.
Welcome to Oz!
James, I don't know if you'll see this, but despite being shaded by that "other James," on the podcast that airs from "the cafe," you are MUCH better podcast host.
Love Stevie Richards ECW HOF please!
I like Stevie. Always did.
I always liked The BWO more than The NWO…Stevie,Meanie, and Nova were hilarious in that parody…”Right now ide like to start off with three simple words… “WE’RE TAKING OVER!”” BWO 4 LIFE!
Kev is the best
Hogan always working the marks lol
Always 😂
kev prob tore a quad reading this comments lol
The BWO was great and funny!
Great Story.
That voice...is that Lloyd Van Buren?
This is a funny rib and they were cool with Stevie. Scott Hall was cool asf.
Love SR and the BWO gimmick!!
You should have bent him over and asserted dominance. Not like anyone hasn't done that to Nash before lol.
Who apologizes for typing in all caps prior to them typing the question? Why not just not type in all caps...
this all sounds like hall, nash, and hogan 😂
This is the most neurotic guy in wrestling. He's like Randy Poffo's inside voice.

I never had a problem with the bwo. Kevin nash probably.
Stevie was the Sami of his era
Bro you was like a poor mans shawn Michaels
I didn't know that doctor Steven Richard's was doing his own podcast now can someone tell me is this a conard property
Why is Aaron Rodgers talking about wrestling
i love how stevie basically says hulk is just as full of shit as you think
Aha he got one framed in the back
Did.Stevie ever win any belts????🔸🎧🇺🇸
Kev is the man.
Kevin Nash has a total different attitude on the business. He's not Bret Hart, Kevin doesn't take himself seriously and he's not super miserable or uptight. So I'm not surprised that he liked what Stevie was doing at the time. I totally disagree with his leftwing politics. But I agree with some of Kevin's attitudes about the business. I think he understands the business better than a lot of the old timers. He's more sports entertainment than wrassling.
Just because Bret has a different personality doesn't mean he's miserable. Seems pretty happy to me
why even mention his politcs?
@@seankinsellasean Nash makes sure everyone knows his leftwing bullshit, so why not.
He was just smarter than everyone else, made his money and didn't do stupid bumps when he didn't need to and didn't break his body down like the mark wrestlers are doing these days for a quarter of the money they could be making if they actually had some personality and charisma. facts.
@Seth Martin Everybody is entitled to their own opinion Seth. Bret still hates Hulk Hogan. IMO Bret doesn't get over stuff & often times seems extremely bitter. I think most people would agree with me. But everyone is entitled to their opinion
This a cool guy.
That does sound like Nash
🔥🔥🔥
So what did bwo stand for.

Honestly Stevie, We all met big giants like Nash. If this as MMA type deal things would be different. Vince offered Nash a fight with "Mike Tyson" and Nash declined. Nash is a a foot taller and scared of little Mike. Just LOL. For Pro-Wrestling to survive it has to go back to the Catch Roots. Real Wrestling. No more "Stunt" work to amuse the masses. At least at this point. For F's Sake "They" are bringing back CM Punk. Uber LOL
Soft @$$. Scared as hell ooo😅
