always putting out exactly what need in the perfect time. First ugarte now De Ligt- you are legend. Hope I'm not being too greedy here but Zirkzee video would be fantastic
I think what's key for De Ligt he has a presence on the field. He is one of the bravest and toughest defender I've ever seen. He is a natural leader but his character is too much for most of the coaches. Probably that's why they don't put him out with Van Dijk for Netherlands. While Van Dijk is declining and his mental part of the game is nowhere near of De Ligt nowadays I think that huge gap between the two players bottom level and max potential is not justified. Maybe you will say that Van Dijk is more athletic, smarter and has better positioning but there are some key differences between the two guys. De Ligt is saving his team in the most important moments from goals. He is calm, his body language, confidence and calmness is something you can't teach, you know that you have an exceptional teammate when you have De Ligt around and it's a solid foundation to communicate with teammates. There were more ferocious defenders than him like Pepe or Rio Ferdinand so their opponents feared them and even some of their teammates, however the presence of De Ligt commands respect like the presence of Puyol. But what's more important he is a guy that make you believe you can win anything with him at the back because he is like a modern Vidic plus it's a bonus he played for Ten Hag in their great CL season. He probably had the chance to learn a lot from great defenders like Bonucci and Chiellini. Plus don't forget he is only 24 years old. I believe you have a lot of numbers and tactical analysis to back up your claims but this guy is exceptional. They just don't let him shine for Netherlands because of Van Dijk and in Bayern Tuchel didn't like him and that transition between Lewa and Kane wasn't easy plus Upamecano was very bad. I think if he had a partner like Süle or Alaba his Bayern career would have been a lot different. The performance of a defender depends a lot on his teammates and Kim Min-jae couldn't really settle well. Upamecano is not Bayern level. Even Kimmich had better days and he lacks athleticism and physicality while the problems around Alphonso Davies had their results. I just think you could put a prime Maldini or Cannavaro into this team and they would have serious issues too in that environment. However, with Lisandro he will have a great partnership. Two mentally strong guys. A left-footed quicker smaller guy with decent technique will complement De Ligt a lot better than big right footed defenders who clearly have problems when they have the ball.
I'd argue at 24, De Ligt will have the ability to recover from long term injuries with minimal chance of reoccurring. 42m for De Ligt, who in my opinion is above and beyond a better player than any of our other targets, is a very reasonable price.
Thats what they said about van de Beek, Antony and Onana. I’ll give Onana the bod as he has improved tbf. First season at Utd was always going to be hard coming in to replace de Gea.
@@benjaminsehr2566 Like I said he is by far the best defender defensively. The beat overall defender in the world is 1. Bastoni 2. De Ligt was more responsible for the dirty work (aerial duels, 1v1s etc). That’s why that center back partnership really worked in the 18/19 CL season of Ajax. You know I like your content Raees. My inputs are as follows: - Too much on emphasis on VVD / primary CB. Correct me if I'm wrong though, it's just my perspective on him, i could be wrong. If you have any plan to do a deeper analysis on him and his playing style, please do some tactical analysis on Inacio in the future as well. He's a really exciting player to follow, still so young yet underrated imo
y would we do that wen lisandro is way better on the ball and is aggressive and not scared of contact like inacio plus hes 60 mill and i would rather get branthwaite for that whos way fast stronger 6ft5 and can play rcb n lcb instead of inacio who i dont trust in a back 4 plus doesnt suit lisandro at all and u can never ply them together ever
@@Arg.Comps10 well, lisandro has a history of playing in rcb some times when he was still at ajax and he played well in that position, with ten hag was there as well obviously. So, if there's an emergency situation when De Ligt and Kambwala are injured at the same time and only Lisandro and Inacio that are available, Ten Hag can put Lisandro as rcb and Inacio as LCB. Adding to that, purchasing 60m for Inacio will be more worth it than bringing Branthwaite for the same price. Branthwaite might be pretty strong defensively and physically, but that doesn't mean Inacio are not strong enough or worse defensively, Inacio is still strong and he has great defensive qualites. Branthwaite is too stiff and too awkward on the ball especially when he's getting pressed by opponents, his passing ability is also average, he is still so limited with the ball at his feet, and he's not as good as what a 60m CB should be. Meanwhile Inacio is more reliable, versatile as he can be a lb as well, technically really good, can play in the 4 defenders system, great in reading the game, intellegent, composed, has shown some good positional awareness and making crucial interceptions and perfectly timed tackles as well. If Ten Hag are trying to change United to become a transition and possesion based system that plays with high line defence, Inacio will be better suited for United and Ten Hag, and 60m for him would be a bargain since he's still really young, the same age as Branthwaite actually, 22, and he's even more reliable than Branthwaite. Inacio is quite ideal physically as well, he's 1,85m in height with 78 kg in weight, he's good in terms of physical for a CB, he still can bully the attackers if it's needed in some specific situations. Inacio can be a perfect and natural understudy to Lisandro since the similarities in their technical abilities, he can learn directly from Lisandro who's more experienced. So United has to go for Inacio than Branthwaite. Also, United need another Rio Ferdinand's style of CB to compliment the aggressive ones. I wouldn't change my mind, Inacio is what United really needs than Branthwaite.
Great content great channel! Try to do an analysis of Angelo Stiller, one of the most underrated players of this season (Stuttgart also very underrated). How do you think he'd physically complement Licha? Will they be prone to getting exposed if United play with a very high line? And aerially, is it too big a downgrade from Varane's aerial dominance?
He's better than Varane aerially. The only worry is his channel depending in a high line system but hes not poor in that regard hes just not world class in that regard due to his pace which isn't much of an issue either. As a Liverpool fan im actually shocked that Bayern has let him go hes an exceptional CB on his day , ive watched Bayern for the last few seasons and hes always shone when hes played and is Bayerns best defender. I can only imagine there must be something else medical or personal thats wrong with him because if thats not the case , Bayern are making a huge mistake here.
Bayern are selling him to lower the wage bill, but Kompany must feel he’s got enough quality to let him go. The PL will be a lot tougher and it will be interesting to see who he teams up with at Utd who don’t have a lot of pace at the back. Utd really need two CB’s of equal ability who are both quick or they’ll get caught out being either too deep or too high.
I think he would definitely compliment Martinez quite well, especially if United become more possession-focused, although having a defender with a more calm, sweeping presence like Varane offered would still be good as an option. Yes De Ligt's passing might not be quite as incisive as Martinez's, but the most important trait I can see in De Ligt is his vision. He's generally making the right passing decisions, and has excellent awareness of where his teammates are and where the threats will be. As we've seen with so many of United's players recently, you can teach and train technique, but you can't un-stupid someone. United's wingers especially are guilty of horrifically poor decision making despite their technical ability, whilst their defenders are prone to individual moments of complete idiocy. My only major concern about De Ligt is whether his front-foot style of defending and relative lack of pace might be an issue when paired with an equally aggressive front-foot defender like Martinez. Maybe if they both remain injury-free and can develop an excellent understanding with each other this would be great for United, but I could also see it potentially placing huge emphasis on Onana to sweep up massive amounts of space behind, considering the PL's willingness to smash the ball forwards over the press.

This channel has grown massively
Can we get an Archie Gray video now that hes moving to spurs
Please do Amad Diallo
So much of this video is recycled. Need analysis on his most recent situation at Bayern not juve
Bro shows only juve clips aka u just re-used the same video for when he moved to Bayern
As we said in intro updated stats as we are busy making new videos
Can you Please do a video on MANU AKANJI 🔥🔥🙌🏽🙌🏽
Can we please do an Archie Gray analysis ?
Would you mind analysing Kevin dewsbury hall?
But is he fast enough? Apart from injuries, wages, my worry is pace. United need that beside Martinez IMO.
Desire Doué next pls
Are the on-screen stats updated or same as the original video?
Updated
Pythag who do you think is the most underated player in world football?
Do Calafiori my man!
Archie gray video?
Both of them are injury prone 🤭
Ricardo Calafiori next please
Can you do a video on Nico Schlotterbeck?
Ricardo Calafiori video please
He mentioned on his twitter that he's already working on it. Very soon I believe.
Could you do a review on benfica’s Antonio Silva?

Do one on Dewsbury- Hall
I've missed the boat on that one, too late, my thoughts are on Twitter.
@@PythagorasinBootsi enjoyed the playback stream u were on with Alex Goldberg the other night. Even as a non-chelsea fan, i found it insightful and a lot of my predictions for Chelsea’s set up under Maresca matched up with you. Just a quick question btw, I’ve seen that Lacroix is available this summer for a transfer. What’s your opinion on him?
Opinions on Savinho from girona ? Also kimmich would be great , playing rb for germany now
Sounds like he would fit nicely along side VVD at liverpool 😏
Can you do a video about the upcoming rising talent pavlovic?
could you do a vid for joao neves. would he be suitable for united
Do a video for Xavi Simons
We need a Doku video
can you reupload yamal with updated potential as well
You REALLY missed a trick by not putting Varane on the list... so United fans realise what they've actually missed out on and how we have been given a worse defender. Younger but worse...
Crazy how 2 years declined his potential
Can you do Tosin Adabiroyo
Didn't mention injuries once
Can you do a Saliba/Gabriel video
is he fast? is he any good
i am more worried about his injury record. no point of signing a new player who is injured most of the time
Thank you for face revealing to us
Anthony gordon please!!!
The problem is not the players But owners and Eric. They just don’t have skill like pep or kloop leading the club.
we got him for 32m£
We’re so BACK
Can you do analysis on Aleks Pavlovic ?
Talented player
he was a starter in a UCL semi final in Bernabeu yet nobody talks about him, he's amazing
his ability at making line breaking passes reminds me of Sergio Busquets
