I love when a defender gets recognition like this. Defenders in general deserve way more praise but the strikers are always the ones we care about lol. Im a centre back myself so personally id rathar see good defensive play over someone kicking the ball in the net after the teams hard work haha. A defender can stop multiple goal scoring chances in a game and no one cares, but a guy gets a tap in goal and he's man of the match lol but seriously this guy has a big future
So happy to have seen him play live at Ajax, especially in that special season 2018-2019. So good at such a young age. Sad that he left Ajax but glad to see he’s doing well at juve and still growing as a player. Wonder where his ceiling will be. Am glad he didn’t go to barca.

Carrying his national team and Juventus on the defensive side. The best pairing duo I had every seen on my life on defending is the Great Wall of China. Who is that? Van Dijk and De ligt on the Netherlands side. Insanely good.
