If you can’t think of any wildly successful moments since 2014, excluding anything related to financial gain in the beauty industry, then you’re deaf…blind…and dumb.
I don't think Lady Gaga's career has "plummeted." She has always been someone who builds and perfects her craft and then moves on to the next style. She's a class act, and never really harped on her injury in 2013 to make excuses for herself. But it did take a huge toll on her performance art and shifted her writing focus. She matured out of dance EDM candy pop and took on more grounded work that reflects the human experience. Think about when she came out in 2008 that genre was just starting and she totally brought the nightlife back in NYC when she was 21 years old. In 2014 she was nearly 30 and that music style had already waned out. I believe she's the type of person who would rather create work that people say "what is this, this is not what we expected" than "OK, she's doing this same thing over and over." She's a true Manhattanite New Yorker like Alicia Keys. Never the same outfit twice in public, don't complain, just keep it pushin', and always have three jobs and on to the next one. Also, her makeup is pretty good actually.
@@LAWLESSKING I know everything you said as I used to follow her until like 2016 very closely and and casually since. You imply she creates the unexpected and most valuable pieces, whilst the very problem with her career is that she just became basic and unadventurous. I mean brava for being able to sing jazz, country and acting but none of these things bring anything new to the table. She became a variety act , jack of all trades and master of none. It's cute and good for her, but she was way more creative in her 20s without doubt.
I WAS THERE FOR THIS ICONIC PERFORMANCE! I can’t believe it’s been 12 years since this... I remember waiting all night on the streets of NYC just to be there and witness Gaga live again. I had no sleep that day because of the rush of adrenaline! It was totally worth it. I was 17 back then. I’ve seen her over 14 times now. I love her so much. I’m a little monster for life. 💕
You're lucky to live in NYC, wish I could see her that many times, I'm Mexican and was only able to see her 5 times, my Visa and Passport expired long ago lol also I don't have enough money now, I wasn't able to see her Joanne World Tour, Las Vegas Residencies or Chromatica Ball, it makes me sad, I miss her so much. 😢

Jazz Gaga and rock Gaga were always there from the very begging of her career it's just that we were all blinded by how spectacular and refreshing her dance electropop show was. That crowd should be thankful to have witnessed such an iconic performance under the rain.
I don’t think I’ve ever think I’ve heard her slip up on the Bad Romance lyrics before. She expected corrected herself instantly though! I love things like this that clearly show there’s no lip syncing for Gaga! 🙌🏻

i stood 10 hrs in line with my best friend this day, and it was one of the best memories i have. she sent us pizza thru the night, and we got to see her rehearse which was a treat. the cherry on top was the rain as she performed show me your teeth. we were all dancing in the rain with her. and she kept performing even after the camaras went down. also she premiered a new song she was working on which eventually became “you and I” ;)

Oh my… Watching this is like time traveling. I remember I had this downloaded on my iPod touch and would watch it obsessively. Also remember pitching Gaga to my parents as a “serious” artist who could actually sing like the jazz artists they played around the house. It’s so cool to see how it was all there before her eventual jazz era, and how she was always this multiple talent that can tap every genre. Wonderful Gaga!

Wish the Today Show crew actually organized the shit with Gaga's team beforehand, like tell her "1 minute till Air!" so she could time out her sound checks and costume changes before, it was super improvised, they started the streaming before sound check, started the Teeth song before her dancers were on the stage, thought she was finished before her on the floor finale and were talking on top of her performance AGH! non professionals you don't deserve Gaga, but Gaga rolled with it as a PROFESSIONAL and continued the performance, the dancers also realizing she had to sing on a bad start they all went quickly on stage, and she killed it! One of her best performances in the rain and with technical difficulties, such a Pro, LEGEND!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻♥️
