I'm only about half way through but I'd say the following (just for insight); 1) We're apparently due a few back in Barnes, Wilson, and maybe Isak. 2) Assuming our first choice strikers aren't available Gordon will play centrally. He's quite good at dropping deep but also making runs in behind to create space. That'll let Almiron and Murphy play out wide.

I'm so excited for this second half of the season! Was looking at the fixtures in the new year and realised we've got some very tasty home games, and some very tough away games. I reckon we can get another 18pts from home games alone, which means we'd only need to pick up a few points away to secure PL football again next season. Not sure if Newcastle is one of the teams we will get points from, but you never know! The chaos gang have got so many goals in them now anything could happen 😂

Yes we should be optimistic and our confidence will be very high but its still a tough match. Newcastle have lost their last two league games at home so they're going to have something to prove. I would be happy with a point. We never win when I predict we will, so I'm saying nothing about that.

I said at the beginning of the season that teams that play the Mags will be anxious to avoid a thrashing, at St. James Park particularly. I know that they were losing games before the end of the season but there was a very good reason for that. They were playing in three competitions and doing very well to hold their own against some good teams - I have not used the excuse that they suffered some injuries to their playing staff, but despite this, Eddie Howe continued to try and win games, but the number of high-profile games and the volume of the games were just too much for them and fatigue eventually took its toll. Throw in the psychological factor of losing their mojo contributed to their losses. But the New Year break, the return from injury of some key players for us, notwithstanding the further loss of two key players in Pope and Joelintin they have decidedly turned the corner this year, and I repeat, teams will be looking to avoid a thrashing. In the recent game against Villa the score should have read six or eight one, the chances that we created and went begging; do not think that the toon will not be able to create the same number of chances and possibly score a hatful of goals. To avoid a thrashing Luton must park the bus and hope that Shaun Longstaff continues to strike the ball three meters above the cross bar.
