people always seem to focus on the physical aspects of bruce lee. (who he could and couldn't be in real life is up for debate), but few focus on the meta-physical aspects of bruce lee. "be like water" means to adapt to situations. water is good for this because of its inherent adaptability. you can freeze water into ice but it will melt and turn back into water. you can boil it and turn it into steam but it will condescend back into water. we need water to live but it can drown us if we aren't careful. water is one of the softest things we can interact with but it can drill through rock with enough time. in other words, when it comes to life, as in combat, you must be adaptable and formless like water.

I've seen a ton of BL material and not once have I seen a footage of that in any BL documentary or heard any of his closest friends or relatives talk about that. the nunchuck is a special tool. So special its been banned in all of the UK and Japan because of how devastating they can be to both the wielder and those who are feeling its wrath.

I think it would've been a pretty big deal if this footage were real back before his death in 1972. I mean the guy in this video is wearing the outfit Bruce lee had in the unfinished movie "game of death". Bruce only had a few practice fight scenes made from that movie. He didn't finish game of death because he was called by Warner bros to do "enter the dragon" which was a major motion picture in hollywood. So I find it very hard to believe Bruce found time to participate in a ping pong game with the game of death attire and using nunchucks against two ping pong players and nobody hearing about it until recently when this video was released on RUclips.

When he died there were plenty of lookalikes that wanted to take his place and made some pretty terrible movie versions of his character. Bruce was good with nunchucks maybe even revolutionary for his time but Bruce wouldn't be able to hit ping pong's out the air the way this guy did in the video. Bruce was way too busy to do random things like that for clout unless he was promoting his Jeet kun do school.
