"The lioness doesn't concern herself with the opinion of the sheep" YESS
George R.R. Martin!
Lucy Mueller I literally read your comment when she said that.
A comment only sheep tend to make.
I've been doing hip hop en pointe as a sort of joke in class without even knowing it was a legit style - hiplet. Cool! 😂 Gotta make this more of a thing.
same
Sara Restrepo you have to be classically trains in ballet first
"The lioness doesn't concern herself with the opinion of the sheep." Beautiful!
where has this been all my life??
RIGHT?!
I am a ELFfishHoneyCloudMeigeniToppKlass hiplet is not copyright I don’t think. You can do it if you want I wish more people would teach it
They fit so well together when done in this fashion. The way the girls combined the two forms made such sense as if one was the natural continuation of the other. Great job ladies! Keep practicing and honing :)

Wow. There's new life. Something new to seek!
They are amazing dancers !!!
Wow! Beautiful! in awe
hell yeah good job ladies #MAKE IT YOURS....
The sickling and the bad pointe tho.....not hating but that's dangerous..some moves in hiplet are literally a trap for sprains and permanent damage
Jacqueline Wiberg you are commenting on all their videos??? Natural born hater damn you must really hate your unmelinated life kick rocks cave woman we know you're looking to steal this art form in the next 5-10 years and claim it as your own... rape rob and steal much???
And ballet doesn't do the same? Look at the girl in the pantsuit. You really call the sickling?
As well as tying the ribbon knot directly on the Achilles’ tendon is not a good start. 😉
Jacqueline Wiberg Hell, so is traditional balet
@@hatemuch7489 Chill. There's a difference between hate and concern
So Beautiful!
that's hard af
that's so cool!! Love it
BEAUTIFUL!
This was beautiful!
These are some of the only hiplet dancers that get all the way on there box
love it!
love this video sooo soooo soooo much
So dope.
Hiplet is such a great thing
and idk why people are so lit up about this dance ,dance can be anything u want if u try.
Because with social media being so "big" right now, everybody has micro fads that popularize anything for a short while.
Remember planking?
Remember Kale?
Remember Obama being black?
Everything gets old quick with today's society.
MarioThaMonkay true thanks for the info
Bambii live people are mad because it's different and it's easier to show hate than understanding
This is awesome
I do this after class and I really like the idea of it
amazing
looks very beautiful, bravo
This is the epitome of #BlackGirlMagic
Kyliee Cartwright mixing two amazing dancestyles in to this mess is magic? oke...
Merel Aartman There's always that one person that can't let anyone enjoy things without being a hating ass bitch. Shut up, Merel.
Kyliee Cartwright You're just mad because she's smarter than you. That stupid blackgirlmagic stuff makes you sound like an even bigger dunce.
Melissa Smith People cant appreciate black girls?
If you wouldn't say 'white girl magic' don't say anything like that.
I LoVe IT!!!
This is beautiful !
Fabulous, so much fun yet so tough 🌺🤗🕊
Ballet as a genre has always been beautiful. But incorporating different styles of music allows it to reach and RELATE to groups of people that wouldn't usually pay attention. So we should be able to recognize the impact this has.
Julie Robin ballet has not always been beautiful I’m a ballet dancer so I’ve learned the history of ballet and I’ll tell you when it first ca,e out it was just as rough and crazy as hiplet
Yesss ladies!
Game of Thrones in the end :) Who noticed?
it's a great line!
TOO COOL 😍
dope af
Great!

nice
Hey nia I see you
Too bad I can't dance like them
that ratio of likes and dislikes though
funny how when ballet meets hip hop yall give so much likes and comment but if this was regular plain ballet you all would be gone.👊👆
Rosemarie Johnsen shh listen. its ok, some ppl will see this video & see how cool it looks, maybe theyll look into ballet! (^:
munchie yah i guess......
same.
munchie I would like of if you didint shush me, plz and thankyou but ues I agree with your answer.
Ballet as a genre has always been beautiful. But incorporating different styles of music allows it to reach and RELATE to groups of people that wouldn't usually pay attention. So yes, you are right but you should also be able to recognize the impact this has.
Omg i need to try this!!
Their riBBONS ARE NOT TUCKED IN
Victoria Oldson it was part of the design. Left them out on purpose
Nia Lyons oh ok haha
Victoria Oldson that was the best you could do? Change your name to troll queen white peoples seek to find a problem with any and everything black people do the steal it and claim it as their own or worse their creation!
How do I donate directly to this artist
nothing like black beauty
Pinkbarbie exactly

👌
Damn the girl with the short hair is really good
If mr.Homer watched this welp this is Imani from cmdc and ik some of those girls u don’t know how good they are peeps
You mean like.... Runaway?
if only Hilty and Bosch collaborated with the movement. I mean, lets mix it up a bit. This still feels like ballet.
Slaaay
anyone here from the wattpad story "Star Crossed"?
in the parallel universe white people be like 'WOW NO WHITE PEOPLE?'
I might be the only one, but I'm not a fan of this dance style.
Loneytoon9 yea, some of the dance moves they try to do on their tip toes looks weird to me.
yeah...it's not hip-hop or ballet because they don't actually use ballet technique, and hip-hop, which is based mainly on 'popping and locking', isn't even what they're doing on pointe like... I mean its great that they're finding their own thing and stuff but...
Alicia R hip hop encompasses more than just popping and locking, there are many different disciplines.
Jhopes ARMY yo ARMY what up fam
And new stuff can be a little off putting, but maybe it's just because it's new. At any rate, all art forms are an acquired taste; for that matter, not everybody admires hip hop artists, and not everybody thinks ballet is all that.
Loneytoon9 what??!?! A peacefully youtube chat?!?!?!?
omg why
Maya Lockdale why? Because you can't
Barely any of the ribbons are tucked! I don’t care that this is hip-let not classical ballet tuck them!
I'm just waiting for an ankle to break.
Harley Quinn it won't happen black don't crack
Keep waiting it won't happen. Now go back to your ballet and twirl around in your childish tutu with your men in tights with their penis bulging. Hiplet is here to dominate!
this would not be for everyone. Pointe shoes should not be worn by the average person with no experience!
Mae Hinds They all said they trained in traditional ballet for years before doing this
I think the idea is good dut it dosen't seem hiphop and ballet is well coordinat ,just seem hiphop dencer exploit his tipto
정연우 hater
something is soooo cringe about it - and i am a black man - and grew up with and love hip hop - but something is jus not authentic about this - its like we know u tryna do this "shock" factor of jus takin two things u think wodnt mix and doin it for the sake of being different - but it feels SOOO forced and jus too lazy of an idea
I find it kinda weird, odd and uncomfortable when I watch someone doing something other than ballet in pointe shoes hahah
Yeah no.
Angel Beazley New stuff can be a little off putting, but maybe it's just because it's new. At any rate, all art forms are an acquired taste; for that matter, not everybody admires hip hop artists, and not everybody thinks ballet is all that.
Yeah...this sucks.
Hip Hop meets Tip Toeing.
I'm not that impressed with Hiplet. I was expecting so much more. I had literally anticipated that it would be way more amusing than the usual ballet, like give ballet a run for its money. This dance form is basically tiptoeing and nothing much really. It's such a disappointment.
I want something that adds break dancing with the classical finesse
I want something that puts the tone of hip hop into classical dance
While this seems interesting I dont think it's for me
BalHop sounds nicer...
This is so cool
