Op in the first story is being way too hard on themselves. The sister clearly has issues she hasn't coped with and your family is deciding to be her crutch. She needs to grow up honestly.
He waited 17 years to accuse her of cheating!? He didn't trust her for 17 whole years and never told her or brought it up even once? Either he's completely full of it, covering for his own cheating, or he has a disorder affecting his cognitive abilities.
I'm starting to think the latter since I didn't get the impression from the way OP described him that he'd fly into a rage over trivial things before that, if he did I doubt she'd stuck around. His behaviour just really seems bizarre and irrational.
Nah, brother should be the one canceling the wedding. He does NOT need to be married to little Ms Entitled. Show him ALL this nonsense and advise him that after the wedding, he's next on her chopping block.
I’m not demonizing mom when she literally scheduled things for her daughter but op canceled to babysit… it started at 11 sure but op grew up too so im guessing moms apathy is from trying to get her to stop to no avail.
Story 5 about the guy whose wife was definitely LAZY: the person who responded saying "don't call her lazy." Yes, yes you can call her lazy. She's lazy ergo calling her that is apt. Obviously the woman had a change of heart after saying she'd be a great mom. She tried it. It wasn't trendy or easy so she left. She's a piece of garbage and pretending otherwise, even before knowing the woman was going to leave, just emboldens people like her.
The story of the entitled sister who uses her younger sister as her own personal "free babysitter"- Man their Mom P*SSED ME TF OFF!!! First off, how dare that mother tell her 18yr old youngest daughter that it's her fault that her crappy sister got this entitled, all because the little sis didn't or couldn't say no?!!? Wow that poor girl was a child when she was guilted from her older sister. That mom should have been an actual mother (the mom of the 2 sisters) and told her oldest daughter to grow up and take care of her own responsibilities and actually say no for her minor daughter!!
That story about the mother rubbed me the wrong way, it hits too close to home. I’m a Dominican female and people there always mention kids regardless of whether you’re a minor or not, just more if you’re an adult. I get told I NEED to have children at some point because “you’ll be left alone one day” or “children are a beautiful experience”. I’m selfish. I got dreams that I’m not willing to sacrifice, and unlike the 16 y.o. my uncle (45) impregnated, I thankfully learned about the realities of motherhood before dreaming of having a child. I’m setting up my stationery/jewelry business, going to college, saving up for my dream house, a child would only bring me struggles, and I’m not willing to bring someone into this nasty world without a guarantee that I’ll be able to provide them with only the best, physically or emotionally. I hope the pestering doesn’t get worse with time 😅
If this is about the quote itself, it is definitely a bit of an unusual way to put it lol If it's about the sentiment - I think it's OP simply wanting to have kids soon due to age. I know a couple of ladies the same way, nothing wrong with wanting to have kids before a certain age.
@@ABadPasswordIt’s generally worse for women as they don’t make eggs throughout the whole of their lives. Men make sperm for all their lives so there’s less pressure on men but it still exists as most men want to be fathers.
@themilkman9261 you dont need to do anything plenty of kids in the foster system instead of arbitrarily bringing new life into the world to pass on your mediocre genes
Mom that disappeared does not HATE her child, she is clearly struggling and doesn't know how to handle it. Also, someone in that comment section was blaming him and saying he's not caring for his wife and their relationship, clearly they didn't read carefully. Also, he isn't pressuring anyone into having another kid. For the drinking post, don't convince people to drink. Alcoholism is no joke and it is hard to deal with.
Everyone is just railing on the father (even though his sounds like a great parent) and giving excuses for the mother, everyone is just going off on how she is blameless and should totally get away with being neglectful (which is abuse)
Yeah sure pregnancy is hard but thats very different from just refusing to deal with the kid, and the fact that that one commenter just tried to find every way possible to blame and insult op, tells me that they probably are a complete deadbeat themself
All right I'm not going to lie the update to that second story gross me out the way the original poster stated I'm not getting younger and I need to reproduce and she'd be perfect for my children I was like dude don't say it like that😂
Sometimes harsh words with entitled people are the only thing that works, to make them see the reality of things. Sometimes it's true, it doesn't work, but in the case of the sister who tells her sister to be a better mother for her children, and to grow up, it worked. The sister had no opportunity to make bad choices, she had to raise her sister's children, the brother, in short, when he would have had time to go out with friends and make a bad choice (for example, having a joint, or a beer when Were you a minor?) Physically she couldn't, even if she wanted to. The sister took a different path, dated several boys, got pregnant, went out to party, neglecting her children... in short, she made her choices. To make them weigh on others is madness...
First story, am I the only one who heard "my mother beat me"??? Why didn't this writer contact the cops and report the assault?!! That's as messed up as the super-jealous and insecure sister.
The reason why it's frowned upon is because it feels dehumanizing in a way. The same people that say "females" rarely ever (if not never) say "males". (Also a lot of ppl that say "females" tend to be incels. They're not very pleasant people)
@@PrincessGalaxia9 he explained they are females for the the context of the story. It was an objectively true statement that others are reading into due to their own biases.
@dangerousboxx666 I'm aware that it's clarification, however, there's better ways to do it. And it was overall uneeded. I guess he was saying they were lightweights and left early bc they were women. Still felt like an unnecessary detail.
@@PrincessGalaxia9 yeah you're still reading into it. Them leaving early and not wanting to take more shots is not because they are women. The fact they are women is incidental. Calling a women a female is not being a incel (a term that now means nothing as it's been watered down)
@dangerousboxx666 ok, it was still an undeeded detail to mention their gender sense it didn't even affect the story at all. Also I'm aware that saying female doesn't automatically make you an incel. Just that it's very common with them.
For story 3 i wasn’t judging until.. she said her first experience was with an actual horse. I’m not here to kink shame, but her doing things with an actual animal- having attraction to the literal animal, kinda crosses over from kink territory to phillia territory. I understood, i mean my partner is pretty kinky and likes to do “pet play” stuff, but would he have intercourse with an actual dog? no, he wouldn’t. is he actually attracted to dogs? no, he isn’t. that’s what makes it weird asf imo
When woman rides bike or horse it can cause them to break their hymen which is typically broken during a woman’s first sexual encounter. She probably was referring this moment as her first time
Story 3 is weird, and cute, and she is probably just a furry or would be open to the idea. The getting a horse mask, and a "toy" from the site of dragons who are not good, is progress, but if she starts to do pony play, I suggest OP consider a lot harder. That is a major step, and goes very far into kink, and if they pop out kids, going to be a very strange time when the kid(s) eventually walk in on mommy and daddy "playing" "adult games" in their room.
Reddit changing their tune after the mom jumped ship when given a little freedom. Classic Reddit. Must hurt some of them when the story develops past women good, man bad.

First of I'd just ask if she isn't ready to be a mom and I'd ask if she might be more comfortable to be a "part time parent" until she can connect with the kid (with hobbies).
