- We all have a thread that drew us to quilting. We sat down with Stephanie, a quilter and maker from New Orleans, LA, to hear about her quilting journey: how she got started, what she likes to make and give, and why quilting has remained such a big part of her life.
Every quilt has a story, and so does every quilter. We’re in love with them all. Does Stephanie's story resonate with you? Share with us in the comments below.

This pretty lady is a keeper!!!!
Wow, what a firecracker!
I think you just helped me see why I struggle choosing quilt fabrics. I grew up sewing clothes and have only been making quilts for a little while.
Yes, yes, me too! Being a seamstress "rules", go out the window. 1/4 " seams for starters. I get comments from others that I have an eye for color. Sometimes it all works, and other times, I search and search for that perfect fit. 👌 Quilting "wall art" is my new passion. I've made quilts for everybody, and runners for every table, so now, it's wall art. 🎨 🖼
You have great personality. Enjoyed listening to you.
