Probably one of the most impactful podcasts I have ever listened to. 4 days ago I listened to it and I needed to come back and say I remember the brain foods on my body and the tour of Jim’s office. Love it

I am so relieved to find that digital overload and distraction can name and explain what I experience when I spend too much time on my phone/computer. I constantly feel like I can not learn, practice, remember or get it all together fast enough. I feel overwhelmed with this urgency and I have come to hate my phone. It's exhausting and I begin to feel rotational neglect. Thank you so much for your help and education. You're a God send. 😊

Such an intelligent person, very smart and intuitive. How can people not see a creator? Rather folks give credit to an unproven, conspiracy theory such as evolution or “the universe”. The brain / mind was in fact created to grow!. Anyway, This guy is terrific! Very thoughtful

Really reminds me a lot of the more simplistic ideas espoused in John Dewey's Democracy and Education. A book that was banned for teaching "how to think". Also the source of one of my favourite quotes, " we must count individual variations as precious as it is within them we find the means of our own growth".

I love everything about this episode, and have been a fan of Jim for quite a while. I can't help but wonder if his story about his friends dad isn't either made up or extremely exaggerated. If someone changed your life, wouldn't you at least use their first name when telling your story? He had no problem using famous people's names nonstop.
