That's great! Living here in China I've considered the 702 but with all the cameras and terrible drivers Ive concluded that anything over 500cc is a bit overkill so in October I'm going with the new 552X
We have not. They never seem to have them on the showroom floor. From what I understand the 702 has 75hp while the 502 has about 48hp. I'm sure the new 552 will pick up some slack with it's 61hp.
I read your comment that you drove the new model Benelli TRK 552X, so I'm interested in whether that model has traction control and in your opinion, which is better, the older model trk 502 or this new one?
Hi, thanks for the question. I did not see that the new 552X has traction control. Only a button to turn on or off the ABS. The new 552X comes with all LED lighting, TFT digital display, TPMS monitoring, Bluetooth connectivity, heated grips, a heated seat, and all 3 storage boxes. All this comes standard for the same price as the 502X. I would definitely say that the 552X is better. Also considering the new 552X has a 61bhp engine compared to the 47bhp engine on the 502x I’d say it’s also a better deal. It’s also 9kg/19.8lbs lighter than the previous model. We’d love to get our hands on the new 552X and do a review video as soon as possible but it seems that the ones the store has coming in are customer ordered and paid for already. We won’t be buying ours until October so that might be the only time we can do a full review unless we get lucky before then.
@@ExpatsOn2Wheels Hi! Since the 552X will have 65bhp does this mean that a conversion to 35Kw / 48HP is offered for A2 license owners? Does Benelli include this option free of charge or will it be a paid conversion?
@@Lodethebig honestly I'm not sure what they have planned for the European market. But from what I understand, they might ship it already converted from factory as they have done with other models.
@@ExpatsOn2Wheels Finally got around to check it out for myself in Beijing the other day. It's really hard to believe that such a big and well-equipped bike can be so cheap. The only thing I'd wish it had would be cruise control. But again, for the price, I can't really complain.
@@keaixiaomeinv I plan on buying the TRK552X in October. I can't wait. by the way... There are some after market options for cruise control. they are more of a throttle lock but it mostly gets the job done.
I,m looking to buy this bike,,in the UK it does not come with Tubeless wheels unfortually,,,the gold reallly suits the 502...From rainy UK to rainy Guangzhou
i had the 502 now ive got the 702 i love it

Have you guys tried the 702x? Wondering how it compares...

Will it be tubeless tires on 552x ?
In China they are tubeless tires. However, I've heard that outside China Benelli doesn't offer the tubeless tires. How unfortunate.

Are those 36liter side boxes?
I believe they are 35 liter boxes on the sides.
From looking online, this model should go for between 32k to 36k RMB. Is that accurate?
Yes, that's correct.
