    it started when the chinese rubber manufacturer started encroaching into the spring sponge domain. Now the European / Japanese manufacturer are fighting back by releasing tacky rubber with spring sponge characteristic ( what they called the hybrid rubber ). It is an exiting time to be in this sport!

    From the moment you presented the 09C, I started using it just like you, on the forehand and backhand. I find it perfect for the backhand by the way. The durability is not to bad, but certainly not as good as the Dignics 05. I find the 09C a little too fast on short balls for my TB ALC, like you said the ball pops up, but on an all wood blade it works great!

    Super Video Timo.
Leider.

    • @timoboll8381

      @@timoboll8381 Erstmal Danke für die Antwort :)
      Das mag sein, dass der 09c etwas besonderes ist und das glaube ich Dir auch. Ich habe den Dignics 05 testen dürfen und der war schon gut. Eine Weiterentwicklung zum T05, keine Frage. Ich tue mich nur schwer diesen Belag als empfehlenswert zu bezeichnen. 60€ für die Tenergys ist schon die absolute Obergrenze und dann 80€ für 1 Dignics. Nein danke. Egal wie gut der Belag ist, er ist zu teuer.
      Tenergys billiger machen (45€-50€) und den Dignics bei 60€ ansetzen. Ist auch viel Geld, aber wäre mal ein Schritt in die richtige Richtung. Vielleicht kannst Du, mit deinem Einfluss und wenn du dahingehend Verständnis hast, ja irgendwie was erreichen. Uns würde es jedenfalls sehr freuen :)
      P. S.: Sorry für die lange Nachricht 🙈

    @anyfin9277 3 года назад +2

    From my standpoint, what Timo Boll mentioned is correct. Something I would like to add on is your basic techniques have to be fluid to control this rubber since you are preparing for some rallies in a Dignics 09c game. Meanwhile it would be frustrating if you play against weird styles like penhold short pips with this rubber to combat the fast and no spin ball. Sorry to say boosted Hurricane 3 is still much more dominant than Dignics 09c as the shot quality, serve and recieve are up the roof which D09c that focus on different styles cannot act as an alternative. However, it is always a good rubber to switch from tensor rubbers to aquire more control.

    Hi Timo and Team Timo !
    Thanks for your technical overview. As clinical as you are I would not expect anything better for your game, it does fit you like a glove. It does look like a more "forgiving" rubber due of it's dwell time. But I have a question, what about WEIGHT ? I love TGY 05 but NOT the weight (my preference). Since this rubber seems more elastic, is it a little lighter ?!
    PS Good luck with your health (mainly)... cuz technically pffft.... you are as close to a robot as a human can be ! (in a good way of course)

  • @apflor323
    @apflor323 3 года назад +2

    I tried this rubber and think it's one of the best I have ever used. Timo is right that it's not fast, but the control and spin make up for that. I think it's speed actually comes after it bounces, because the ball comes at decent pace but kicks off the table . Most of the players I play against complain about how the ball kicks and the dip once it hits the table.

  • @ttjesus4959
    @ttjesus4959 3 года назад +3

    ( I will be referring to the national blue sponge version of H3). D09c has a much higher throw than H3. H3 is much more tacky. D09c is faster while using less power. They're about equal when using maximum power. You can feel the catapult from D09c. H3 has ZERO catapult, which is what allows for counter forehands with 100% power from mid distance. At the top end and everywhere except for the mid-power shots, H3 will outspin D09c. Hitting H3 flat is not recommended. You can still hit D09c flat.

    How do you clean your rubbers and especially the Dignics 09C with its sticky surface?
    With normal rubber cleaner sticky rubbers shouldn’t be cleaned not to destroy the surface.

    Sehr informatives video, wie immer. Ich weiss das es wahrscheinlich nicht möglich ist aber es wäre toll wenn Du mal einige der Billig-Kopien von den Hölzern und Belägen von Butterfly, DHS usw testen könntest. Es gibt einige Fabrikate die das Butterfly Timo Boll ALC imitieren ( Yinhe V14 Pro, Sanwei F3, Gambler AC Hero) und bei Belägen gibt es auch viele Alternativen zu den "tacky' Chinese rubbers" die nur kleines Geld kosten. Einige von denen mit gutem Schwamm spielen sich sehr gut ohne Booster, da wäre es interessant die Meinung eines Profis zu hören, für all die Anfänger wie mich die es einfach für Unverhältnismäßig halten mit einem 350 Euro Schläger an die Platte zu treten egal was der Kontostand ermöglicht. Als "beginner/ intermediate" braucht man vielleicht einfach nicht so ein Super-Ding.
    Ich selbst habe gerade meinen ersten Schläger, einen 100 Euro Markenschlaeger mit ESN Belägen, gegen so ein "Budget Fabrikat" eingetauscht und finde es sowohl von der Qualität als auch vom "Vibe" einfach wesentlich besser passend, das liegt vielleicht auch daran das meine Generation ( Ich bin 56) als Kinder von unseren Eltern immer zu hören bekommen haben das " wenn der Bauer nicht schwimmen kann liegt es an der Badehose", haha.
    Wie dem auch sei , tolle videos, Ich freue mich schon auf das nächste.

    I play the Timo Boll ALC blade and really love it. And investing this amount of money into a blade that you can virtually play "forever" seemed reasonable to me. boosting can be a headache sometimes. I used to use the dhs sun yingsha blade and boost dhs hurricane 3 neo 40 degrees provincial version with 3 layers of booster. putting a bit extra or a bit less affects the characteristics greatly and after 2 months you would need to buy another rubber or reboost because it doesnt last long. and u need different amount of booster depending on the blade.

    I've been playing with the 09c for little while now and feel as though the top sheet loses the grip quite quickly compared to the tenergy or other dignics rubbers. Hi Timo, could you tell us if you ever have play against Alexis or Felix Lebrun who use dignics 09c in both sides?

    Hi Timo, würdest du generell immer maximale Belagstärke empfehlen oder kann es auch Sinn machen den Belag dünner zu kaufen für eventuell mehr Kontrolle?

    Nothing beats T05.

    Der Belag ist wirklich nicht für jedermann, gerade in Deutschland, wo fast jeder "Katapult Monster" spielt, fehlt den meisten der Speed...😂👍
    Aber mich als Spinspieler spricht der Belag an. Für ist mich ist Tunen ebenfalls ein No-Go und die China Beläge verlieren ihr "Factory-Tuning" nach zwei Wochen! Nach einem Jahr Corona hab ich den Belag wieder ausgepackt und er fühlte sich noch gut an... Für die Schnitt-Abwehr finde ich den Belag eigentlich auch ganz gut... Agressiv Schupfen geht auch wunderbar. Der Ball hat beim Topspin und Schupf eine schöne Länge! Kurzhalten geht wunderbar nur manchmal springt der Ball sehr hoch ab...
    Bei der Eröffnung oder Flip auf Schnitt wird's jedoch schwieriger im Vergleich zum T05, da fehlt einem der Katapult.
    Im spinlosen Konterspiel ist er halt wirklich nicht gut und leider wird auch selten erwähnt wie schwer diese Beläge sind! Das kann bei geringem Trainingsaufwand schnell zu Schmerzen im Handgelenk führen und an Turniertagen könnte einem Amateur doch irgendwann die Puste ausgehen...

    Spinart from butterfly is also tacky. How do these two rubbers compare ? Thanks in advance.

    Hi Timo - great video as always! I have recently started using the Tenergy 19 and find it very controlled compared to other Tenergy rubbers, but also fast. How would you say the Dignics 09c compares to this rubber - is it much slower?

    Defenders generaly like sticky rubbers, i've seen many using dhs hurricane and dhs skyline. As for begginers, shouldn't they focus on learning the basics on slow controlled rackets rather than learning to depend on the equipment?

    Hi Timo, amazing video! Question though: I had a tenergy05 on my backhand and i switched it with dignics05, and it feels amazing, more consistent, safe, and I'm thinking about putting a dignics05 on my forehand too, instead of a tenergy05, and play both sides dignics05. Do you think d05 would be good on the forehand as well?

    Ich habe das Mizutani Jun Super ZLC.
    Wäre der 09c mit diesem Holz eine gute Kombination ?
