This is exciting! I hope all the carriages and memorabilia can be put to good use, in a museum or transformed into things like the Monorail Espresso Bar pictured in your video!
A few years ago I spoke to someone who has a whole train that’s under restoration apparently and he said he is hoping to get a few carriages in the powerhouse Museum when it reopens at the new location with a fair bit of memorabilia from the monorail
Great collection. Thanks for saving all this memorabilia. Just a shame that tram gunzels didn't try hard enough to save any of the Metro Light Rail memorabilia to compliment the now preserved Metro Light Rail Variotram 2107. We have the tram itself at the Sydney Tramway Museum. But there's none of the tram stop signs or maps of the era like you've got. I've been desperately searching for stuff on eBay but alas I only found a few pamphlets. A shame really.
There is no reason the monorail can't be put back into service with new track somewhere! As pointed out in the video, these trains were built to last!!
Trooper's Daddy it happens that I am that person and it happens that I saved the monorail from going to scrap. If you don't like why watch it? There is a stop button on your phone.
Grow a pair of balls and don't be so sensitive dude. Its just that as a host you are not very good...If you can't take the heat then don't put videos out. Now have a G'Day mate :P

Awesome to see that you saved parts of the monorail. What is the current status of all this stuff?

@GodBotherer1 You lost me when you said you prefer monorail over tram. No ma'am...
what happened to the monorail cafe?
Does anyone know how I could get in touch? I'm a monorail fan and would KILL for just 1 monorail themed sign, no matter the size.
Alguien sabe porque lo desarmaron al monoriel de sidney?
They should not scrap them
Shawn Dalla-vecchia they didn't. We saved them the last minute.
Totally agree
wrong person to host this video...
