It didn't work. Today I decided to research and came across your video. After doing the shrugs I went and purchased the grip strengthener. I started using it on the drive home. Probably only 3 weeks of discomfort that I was beginning to think was not improving. Bending hands down gave me confidence that my hand had not been broken and also probably not fractured. Understanding this is a short term fix is wonderful information and I certainly thank you for showing what may actually fix the underlying problem.

This video has been very helpful because on due surgery to both hands for carpal tunnel… To be honest the doctors in the UK involved in my treatment aren’t that good and none of them have explained any implications which are transparent in this video. For instance: I didn’t realise the carpal tunnel band ligament would be permanently detached… I thought the incision was to relieve the pressure… None of this has been explained properly to me even though I’m soon to be under the knife for both hands. on the Carpenter and cannot risk weakness in my hands, so I’m gonna have to rethink this surgery certainly as they want to do both hands at the same time. Also in the nerve induction test it didn’t show much carpal tunnel, yet I have chronic symptoms because I work with my hands all the time. The nerve induction doctor said he thinks it’s higher up in my neck, none of the doctors have explored this… And now after watching the video I feel much more well informed on the whole procedure/symptoms I’m the connection between compression in the neck and hand… None of the doctors have picked up that I’ve had surgery on both shoulders. The UK is diabolical unless you go private.

Please, I went to consult the doctor who did the speculum for me, and he told me that I had a partial cut in the cruciate ligament and he did (thermal cauterization) when he entered the speculum.
And as I explained to you, the resonance does not show any cut, praise be to God, and he did a clinical examination for me, and he found that the knee is stable, and thank God, there is no betrayal at present.
But he said I have some inflammation and roughness in the kneecap, which is the cause of the pain in the knee, and that I need to strengthen the muscles for a month, and if there is no response, I need an injection for the knee.

  • @Cfp-sx2vs

So I just started a new job that extremely labour intensive, lots of grip required. I'd consider myself very strong with very good grip strength but I have definitely over course of a week developed carpal tunnel syndrome symptoms. Started with a bit of tingling and numbness then when I went to bed I woke up with my arm in a crazy amount of pain I couldn't even come close to fully closing my hand, and every morning this week, it hasn't gotten worse but it's like a cycle.
Start of day I can't make a fist, I wake up start working my hand slowly and after about on hour I can make a fist zip up a zipper and tie my shoes, through the day my hand still tingles but I have full movement and close to full strength just with the annoying tingling sensation I come home and as I start to rest my hand becomes tighter and tighter then I go to bed and do it all over again.
I have a brace I'm going to start wearing to bed and I hope that help but I don't know how long I should wait to seek medical attention. Sounds like most people's symptoms come and go, how often? Because I'm a little concerned that I've had these symptoms for 4 days straight.
I'm used to using exercises to treat pain. I have sciatica but strengthening my lower back with Deadlifts and Squats has dramatically reduced flair ups and they seem to go away quickly when they do occur.
I'm going to tackle those the same way but I'm curious, should I use a grip trainer when I have the tingling? Today is my day off and because I wasn't working I wasn't using my grip as much so my hand was still really tight but I did a couple set with a grip trainer and now I can fully open and close my hand. Seems like it help but I don't know I I'm just helping short term or not

sounds logical to not over extend nerves but what if median nerve is pintched somewhere in elbow tendon, and cant extend fully arm without feeling it stretching, hot to unpinch it then?

I'm 77 years old. I never had any physical problems until I had a Stroke in 2018. When I was at the VA a few hours after my Stroke I told the nurse who was tending to me that the needle she had in the top part of my left wrist was makin my arm and hand go numb. She wouldn't do anything to help me and shuffled me off to some other department for x-rays and then admittance into the hospital. I complained to every person who was assigned to me and no one would do anything to remove this needle. The next day and still no help until I threatened to remove it myself. The Doctor finally took the needle out of my upper wrist... but here I am 6 years later and my left hand has been tingling and numb every freaking day since.
    What do you think ?
    Oh yeah,

It is encouraging to hear that they start to feel better as the day progresses and that you're going to work with the grip squeezer. Our team members use them at their desks and have felt the difference almost immediately. We'd love to hear how you are doing as you progress.🙌 Please take care!🧡

Sure of it. I had it decades ago while working in a poultry processing plant gripping a knife all day. It was excruciating but after giving up the work and physio no serious trouble with it since until taking up drumming and knitting recently. Both involve gripping and repetitive wrist movements. I’m not trying any gripping device because I know that is what causes it and hardly need more of the same.

My palms mush have strong muscles tho since I've played rigioursly for 20+ years...? Anyway, some stretches seem to do tje trick and I can get feeling back in my hands and fingers until that also agrivates it... lose lose situation.

Hey Natalie! This is a common issue. We understand how frustrating it can be with all the information that is out there. It can be overwhelming and oftentimes contradictory. One thing to consider is that at El Paso Manual Physical Therapy we specialize in helping people avoid unnecessary injections & surgery while traditional physical therapy tends to focus on healing post-surgery. Because of this, the information we provide will be different versus traditional physical therapy advice. Also, everyone's body composition is different so what works for one person may not work for another. What's important is finding options that work for you as you know your body better than anyone. In order to find a solution, you may need to try different techniques and exercises that you find beneficial.

Anytime there is pain there is inflammation which means the cells are deficit of negative ions. Grounding the body to the Earth and alkalizing the blood with mostly alkalizing food herbs will greatly eliminate pain.

Do you have any empirical research to support these claims? Or is it based on a feeling you have from talking to patients? Have you considered that you only see patients for whom the treatments didn't work, and therefore your conclusions are based on skewed data? Have you actually done a systematic checking of outcomes for your patients with this treatment? Surgery is said to be around 90% effective. So if 1,000,000 people get the surgery in a year, that's 100,000 people who might end up in offices like yours and say, 'Well, it didn't work', leading to claims that surgery is an ineffective scam. There are thousands of RSI related videos on RUclips, and they all say their method is the only one that really works. Wow, what a coincidence that the method that earns them money is the one that works.

Hey Jose! We're really passionate about teaching and educating our viewers, which is why we often explain the reasons behind the movements and exercises we demonstrate in our videos. We believe understanding what's happening in your body is key to getting the most out of the exercises.
However, we totally understand that some people prefer straightforward exercise videos without explanations. If that's what you're looking for, our channel might not be the best fit for you, and that's totally okay! We want you to have the content that suits your preferences.
      We appreciate your feedback.

Thank you for getting back to me. Just a note to mention that about 7 years or so ago I complained to my family doctor about fingers numbing and his only response was ,” call me when you start dropping your coffee cup “. I recently went to a sports injury clinic with a trap muscle swelling and asked incidentally about the numbing fingers to find I have carpal tunnel syndrome. The doctor showed me a spot to massage and 1 exercise. No mention of a possible pre-op solution. Suggested I return when the pain gets unbearable and they will then operate. No mention of a possible FIX to avoid surgery, even though the doc knew I was an avid exerciser ( injured my trap , working out ). Decided to research the net and found you. Thanks again from Winnipeg.
