I had carpel tunnel and my hands were numb and I thought my fingers were going to die from lack of blood flow and fall off. It is so painful, I can see why people run to the surgeons. I cried for days and didn't use my hands. God healed me without surgery. Thank you Jesus. I haven't had carpel tunnel since. I did take a chance on not having emergency surgery, though, thank God He was on time! Thanks for sharing your ideas about natural healing.
It is close to 2 am here and I prayed for you. It is also important for you to let your parents know all that you are feeling. Ask the elders of your church to pray a prayer of faith and healing for you. Have your doctor check out your progress in healing and this video has some good advice. Maybe you could get a computer that you could talk to and save yourself alot of pain. Keep the faith!
For me, my CTS was caused by using incorrect left-hand posture when playing my cello, and a pinched nerve in my neck, which was aggravated by a hard fall. The morning after the fall, my left hand was really swollen, and I could not move my thumb, index, middle, or ring finger at all. So, I went to my doctor, who referred me to a physical therapist, massage therapist, and chiropractor. She also recommended using a brace, ice, and capzacin to bring down the pain and swelling. This helped tremendously, and, within about two months, I recovered completely without surgery.
Braces are NOT ineffective, they are used to keep the wrist and a possition for optimum blood flow and reduced pressure. They serve a specific purpose. Thanks for the vid.
Hi all in my case I had a very serious pain with sleepless nights. Heat pad and hot water compress gave me relief.finally I went to the doctor and at once he did scan asked me to do the surgery immediately. As I'm not interested in surgery.. I went to another doctor and nothing happened.. finally I do acupuncture treatment for continuous 1 week and after about 2 months I was completely healed
I definitely believe in a chiropractor. I went yesterday and got rid of about 1/2 my pain. But not all chiropractor are good. Just like doctors that walk out on you while you are trying to explain.
i had numbness, burning, weakness in all my hand both sides and my wrist and elbow. i did some carpal tunnel stretches which helped. the biggest thing was posture though. i kept my back to the back of my chair, pulled my shoulders back and kept my head straight. also i did neck exercises and wrist exercises. now i feel way better! posture was such a huge thing for me, not everyone obviously but check it out.
It is great hearing you found successful treatments to improve your symptoms. Which type of stretches and exercises for you wrists and other parts of your arms helped the most to improve the numbness?
Thank you Dr. Axe. I have been suffering with this for 2 years after falling off a porch delivering oxygen. Even holding a cup of coffee was painful Lifting tanks, using the computer without a wrist bean bag for the mouse, aggravated the numbness. Seven of my patients that saw the wrist splint I wore said they had surgery and strongly recommended not having the surgery because the adhesion put even more pressure on the nerve. The damage was worse post op and now permanent. I added this regimine you have given me here, to my yoga exercises and it has alleviated the pain. However, I have since retired from my job and must stop using the mouse.
I am suffering from the same but I am taking Ayurvedic treatment that helped me a lot from last 3 months recovering fast. There is no allopathic treatment for nerve damage only Ancient Ayurveda can help
unbelievable to see all the rude comments being made to a guy who takes his quality time to help people suffering!! I follow you Dr Axe & I applaud 5 (& your wife) for all your informative & helpful advice!!! I can say this since I have experienced some improvement by following your helpful advice on numerous issues!!! btw.YOU are also the reason I use essential oils!!! kudos to you Dr Axe!!! May God continue to Bless you and your kind heart!!! #yesImafan!
He deserves the comments because his video is misleading, not only the title is fake but also he gets cents from every person who views the video. This video has 421000+ views. He recommends essential oils, ok, thanks, still the reason people came to this video is a lie, don't you get it?
While the title is far to bold of a claim and not true, I have already been using Turmeric for over a year and it has been better than anything any doctor has to offer, and best part, its safe natural and dirt cheap! He definitely is not making money sponsoring Turmeric root and Bromelain (found in pineapples).. try some of what he says and see for yourself :) (I'm not claiming every suggestion he made is concrete but hes def trying to help)
Susan dear, if there was a 'god', we wouldn't need doctors. And the reason people are upset, is because Axe is claiming that his tips will help people get rid of carpal tunnel in TWENTY FOUR HOURS. Did you notice if ANYONE here has been able to get that relief? I didn't, because it's not possible.
You must use good quality supplements if you expect results. I use to be a bodybuilder & I would get sticking points. Arnold Schwarzenegger said to get Aregintina Beef Liver Tablets & I did. It worked very well. The way our foods are processed is what's causing our problem. Doctors know but there is no money in nutrition. That's what doctors are taught. My doctor told me that yesterday.
I've been suffering with swelling, weakness, stiffing, and inflammation of my hands, wrist, arms and at times shoulders. Unsure if it is arthritis, carpal tunnel, and the like. I'm over weight, but will try your suggestions and pray for relief. I want to avoid surgery and medications as much as possible.
cindy2490 I notice you didn't mention knee pain, sounds like your weight isn't causing it.For me whats made the difference is bodybuilding, the exercises for my forearms really seems to help, I ve changed my diet too, cut out sugar and salt intake is much lower..it was hard at first but I'm so glad I did it..best wishes
Which kind of Magnesium specifically ? Citrate? Orotate ? There are many and they are all diverse in bioavailability . So which one does Dr. Axe recommend?

Thanks for the Video! Apologies for butting in, I would appreciate your initial thoughts. Have you heard the talk about - Taparton Playing Hands Takeover (probably on Google)? It is a good exclusive product for getting rid of Carpal Tunnel minus the normal expense. Ive heard some great things about it and my friend after many years got great success with it.
Thanks, Dr. Axe! I have taken B-12 drops and a magnesium supplement today and what a difference! I hate going to doctors, so this was awesome! A lot of people think we can't be healed by supplements, but I'm finding that people are over medicated and not healing. Keep up with the good work! I have found your advice works with arthritis too!
I had Carpal Tunnel in both hands and I got rid of it in three days drinking Apple Cider Vinegar 2 tbs three times a day in 8 ozs of water and in three days it was no more.
Me to, sometimes my fingers go numb during playing. I try some stretching exercises, Ibuprofen, and rub Voltarol into my wrist before the show. It seems to help. The most important thing I find is to keep the wrist warm .
My carpal tunnel comes from guitar playing. I've been able to improve it by removing tension and having better posture and positions. But I still get issues when I'm practicing technique for 2-3 hours as well as working on other things. The technique practice usually involves playing the same kind of line over and over. Starting very slow with a metronome and gradually bringing the speed up over the course of 2-3 hours. By the end, it involves a lot of endurance to keep the speed up. Doesn't help that I have a desk job too. I'll apply your desk job tips right away.
+benbmusic88 I also eat extremely healthy. Lots of greens like kale and spinach, lots of fruits, veggies, and whole grains as well as organic B12 spray and vitamin D.
+benbmusic88 Was hoping i could ask a a question,,,i just started getting this,,,, in the last week or so just came on one night while playing my guitar,i also find that when it starts to hurt,it effects my shoulder as well and my neck,,,,,does this happen to you,or anyone else?
+Canadian Guitar Hack yea. I've gone back to sitting in the classical position with a foot stool so that my body is straight. I also incorporated a message and stretching routine that helps a lot. I can share the playlist with you.
Thank you for this great video. Massage is also a great treatment for Carpal tunnel syndrome. Also stretching in wrist extension can lengthen the muscles at the wrist that are causing nerve compression. I recommend it. Being fat or obesity predisposing you to developing carpal tunnel syndrome as well. So better to eat a healthy diet to help prevent discomfort and disease in the body. I cant believe some of the rude and childish comments! As a healthcare professional, I think this video about complementary treatments is very helpful.
When you get a chance can you do tennis elbow as well? Thank you for all your information. I've been eating healthier and using essential oils. I'm so glad that my amazing chiropractor Dr Brian Bartholomew suggested I follow you. You've taught me so much. I've also been able to help several family members and friends by referring them to your site. Thank you again for helping me become a healthier person.
Can't wait to try these tips, my carpal tunnel has been getting very bad lately. I plan to hit the chiropractor, massage therapist and try Dr. Axe tips. I already take some of those supps but not all.
I took all those supplements for years. YEARS! NOTHING. My carpal tunnel got so severe I finally had surgery. BAM! FIXED. Recovery time is a week now. Wish I had done this years ago.
ive read alot of people who get the surgery not only have returning symptoms within 2 years but it gets worse because of scar tissue and stuff when did you get surgery?
I got surgery this summer on my left hand (btw I have carpal tunnel in both hands) I thought it disappeared but now (it was done on June) symptoms started to reappear already and my recovery time was 3 weeks ( for me 3 weeks without work are a big loss of money) plus it took around 3 more week to be able to use it again properly.
This does not work for everyone. Sometimes the adhesions grow back thicker and put more pressure on the nerves. People don't stop the cause of it, so the healing never gets better.
This actually is helping me with my carpal tunnel right now. I can feel the difference when I don't take my supplements. This might not work for some of you but it doesn't mean you have to be rude to someone who is trying to help.
I do not have Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, however I do have Trigger Finger (plural all 4 fingers in my left hand even though I am right handed.) I know that Carpal Tunnel syndrome is related to posture and to an issue with the neck, so yes see a chiropractor. I have been able to release my trigger finger however it sadly returns every night so every morning I have to do the same exercises by massaging pushing really hard down my left forearm with my right hand knuckles, it releases it very quickly I just wish it would leave permanently. I use essential oils also especially wintergreen with Coconut oil. I use this also when I used to have osteoarthritis. Making your Bone Broth helped me reverse my Fibromyalgia after suffering for 27 years, and of course taking out inflammatory foods, including gluten etc. Thank you
Thank you!!! I just knew this had to be food related to what I was eating or not eating because the pain and numbness will come and go....despite my normal daily activity would stay the same...... but yet the pain at Night comes and goes.... so I figured it had to be something with my diet. So I'm going to add fish oil, magnesium , bromelain and get back to drinking ginger and turmeric tea ( which I used to do!!) and also I'm going to try holding onto a weight for wrist traction what a great idea thank you so much.
Thank you Dr Axe for this very helpful video. I am getting tested to see if I have Carpal Tunnel. I just got an EMG test done yesterday and it hurt sooooo much. I'm gonna follow your recommendations and hopefully it'll go away.
Ok,im sure this should help.My hand has started aching this morning.I do use a mouse quite frequently.I've been looking for treatments.I hope I can rely on you Dr.Josh!!!
it started last week after my exams. i written a lot than normal in the first 3 days of the week. the pain started. i can even see my pulse in wrist till it reaches the palm when the pain is harder
Hi Guy,s I have been an athlete and worked in construction for many years physically. So overuse on wrist. I have played guitar to highest level also. Have had problems with cts and waited six months for op on NHS. finally got the date of op and realized I had in fact nursed my condition almost back to normal. I am playing lead guitar on some very demanding stuff etc. So I think it can result in getting most of your general use back without surgery. I think surgery is a last resort.
Does it bother anyone that he keeps talking about carpal tunnel syndrome but just says carpal tunnel? Everyone has a carpal tunnel. We have two! The issue is carpal tunnel syndrome and it's the lack of proper understanding of this pathology that perpetuates it as a high profile condition. The misunderstanding leads people to self diagnose without actually knowing what other conditions could be present and in turn wind up trying treatments for something they don't have and ending up unhappy and still in pain and feeling hopeless. Drive me bonkers!
B6 has to be accompanied by half the amount of vitamin B2 in order to be converted to the coenzyme form in order to be effective in the human body. I have carpal tunnel syndrome in my left wrist and I know from experience that if I take 100 mg. of B6 with 50 mg. of B2 every day for a few days in a row the symptoms subside. I try to remember to take the B6 and B2 at least once or twice a week. As long as I do that I almost never have flare-ups of the carpal tunnel symptoms.
I feel like ending my life, I am a skilled as fuck fucking artist and I can draw pretty fucking well, like really well, and now I can't. I can't even play pc games anymore fuck my life, i would rather have my left hand have carpel tunnel instead.
If you are an artist you should consider learning to writr and drawing with your left hand. Leonardo da Vinci was ambidextrous. Also you should invest in some Chinese medicine balls.
very encouraging inspiring and educational. So also very full of a lot of good knowledge, thank you 4that, very much, Good Luck & Blessings everybody.....☺️☺️😅🤗😅
There are several suggestions for treating carpal tunnel syndrome at home Do stretching exercises get the advice of experts or long term effects can occur (I read these and the reasons they work on Dariks pain destroyer website )
There are a few factors in treating carpal tunnel syndrome at home. One plan I discovered which successfully combines these is the Dariks pain destroyer (check it out on google) definately the most useful guide that I've seen. Check out all the amazing information .
Not certain about the points made but ,if anyone else wants to learn about alternative treatment for carpal tunnel syndrome try Pycanta Tunnel Syndrome Protocol (should be on google have a look ) ? Ive heard some incredible things about it and my buddy got amazing success with it.
I have spent months studying treating carpal tunnel syndrome naturally and discovered a fantastic resource at Dariks pain destroyer (look it up on google)
I think I got carpal tunnel when I was once working as a dishwasher for an all you can eat restaurant, that was 9 yrs ago and it is now coming back when I go to sleep. I will d try out these ideas asap
+joshua c You mean chew them up instead of swallowing them!? Were they chewable tablets or capsules or regular pills? Haha! Isn't that kinda rough on your stomach?
1 - Nothing causes "carpal tunnel" ... everyone has two carpal tunnels, one in each wrist. Carpal tunnel syndrome, on the other hand, is the condition he's actually talking about. 2 - Stretching, traction, bracing, etc. are all good preventive steps one can take, but are actually limited in usefulness after the tendons have already been damaged due to RSI (repetitive stress injury). Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is a secondary symptomatic effect; the primary problem is actually tendon damage/inflammation and/or thickening. In most cases, stretching an already damaged tendon can lead to further damage, and in the case of tendonosis, can actually lead to rupture. 3 - While it's true that vitamins (in particular B6 and B12) are good for treating nerve damage from compression, this notion that taking such vitamins will "cure" carpal tunnel syndrome in 24 hours is pure nonsense. 4 - Anti-inflammatory substances usually do not help Carpal Tunnel Syndrome at all due to the fact that carpal tunnel syndrome is an RSI; unless you deal with the root cause of the inflammation, no amount of anti-inflammatory substances will help. Again, CTS is caused by tendon damage and/or tendon RSI, which means you need to address the underlying cause of the inflammation, not the inflammation itself. And in many cases, it's not even inflammation but a thickening of the tendons due to tendonosis, which can only be healed over time, with deep tissue release therapy and a re-alignment of the tendon tissues using balanced-load flexion. In other words, you have to rebuild and re-strengthen the tendons; this can take up to two years. (The main reason most physicians erroneously recommend surgery; the "quick fix" mentality of western medicine is appalling.) 5 - No mention at all of muscle adhesions that occur in the anterior forearm. These are a common cause of CTS, especially for computer users/gamers, etc., and unless they are worked out/released, the median nerve cannot achieve decompression. Sorry, but this notion that a bio-mechanical adhesion can be "cured" with supplements is beyond laughable. Clearly, this is a promotional video, for Dr. Axe supplements, and not a whole lot more. Having had carpal tunnel syndrome for some time--and having tried these supplements in the past--I can say, with conviction, that, while it may sound like a magical "cure", it simply isn't. The only thing that cured my CTS was first understanding that I was dealing with a tendon issue/damage. Working with a chiropractor put me on the right path to recovery, but it takes a very long time to "cure" CTS, simply because tendons, by their nature, take several weeks, to several months (if not years, in the case of re-maturation of mis-aligned tendon fibers) to heal.
I use those extra thick rubber bands from produce section. It works on tennis elbow and wrist, carpel tunnel. fast relief. It gives compression, adjust as needed
Roach Meister I know someone that got fast results with a patch. Contact me and I will connect you with him and he can help you. voightmarketing@aol.com
Roach Meister there is an amazing video on here...can;t remember the lady's name. It's not the usual treatment that all the other videos show. I had vertigo for months. I followed her treatment and only had to repeat once, and my vertigo was alleved.

Hi dear Dr. Axe, Merry Christmas and New year. I have carpal tunnel and it's very annoying at sleeping time, now I like baking and playing piano, do I have to get some rest from those activities?
My insurance unfortunately doesn't cover the chiropractor. My doctors just want me to take the medications and get surgery as it gets worse, instead of actually helping me. I'm only 21! Why do I need surgery when there's other options?! I've started Yoga and have been trying to find different ways to handle this on my own. I hope the vitamins help and I'll take in more omega-3.
I am 24 and feel your pain, literally! I have it in both hands and have already had surgery; no help. it's so frustrating, scary and painful. I wish you luck!!
WOW! It has taken me years of trial and error to learn most of the methods you covered! Sure wish I crossed paths with your video much sooner but very HAPPY to learn a few more methods and see you doing the world a great service! Big thanks and Props to you Doc :)
Thank you, was just diagnosed. Had been trying essential oils for relief. This works so well! Has Wintergreen and helichrysum! Deep Relief essential oil roll-on is a Young Living-exclusive blend of pure essential oils formulated to use for massage after activity. Peppermint, Wintergreen, Copaiba, Helichrysum, Dorado Azul, and other essential oils each play an integral role in this blend. Deep Relief Roll-On has an invigorating and energizing scent, and offers a convenient method of application for forehead, temples, and neck anytime, anywhere it’s needed.
Turmeric, and a whole lot of it, helps a lot, too. I have had no problems with CTS since I began mega dosing with turmeric (which I really was taking for another reason.)
@@margiearce6286 3 to 5 tablespoons used throughout the day in things like smoothies, and as a spice. Mix with black pepper to get the best results. See research on how it stops inflammation. It has made all the difference for me personally!
@@margiearce6286 P.S. If the turmeric still doesn't help, keep on with it but also try daily bone broth. It is know for helping against pain and it is great for you in general, even with things like skin and nails.
@@margiearce6286 P.P.S. You might want to research the fact that carpal tunnel syndrome actually not uncommonly starts at the neck, particularly with too much use of a forward head carriage. In the past I noticed that I had some tingliness in my hands when I was barely using them, but that if I watched how I held my head, it went away. Magnetic therapy gave me some relief with flare ups, with the north side touching the skin at the Carpal Tunnel (which is not at the wrist but above it, at the base of the palm.) Now, with turmeric and bone broth, and watching how I hold my head, I am fine though I used to be restricted in how much I could use my hands, especially with art work.
Ugh, I've been typing in excess of 90 wpm since the year 2000 and I've been playing guitar for over 20 years. I don't think Essential oils I can do anything for me except make me nose deaf. I use essential oils all the time when adding "Scent" to my own beard oil for personal use. There is something though I would like to ask Doctor; I heard if someone pounds out a grumpy on your wrist that could help as well. What do you think Doc? Could pounding out a grumpy on someone's wrist really do the trick? All kidding aside the traction idea is the only option on this video as far as I'm concerned that offers a real chance at temporary relief. Cheers and thanks for posting a video about this.
In truth, a chiropractor is likely the only person who can help someone with carpal tunnel syndrome, unless the nerve compression is being caused by a more nefarious problem (like a tumor in the carpal tunnel, excessive trauma, etc.) I, too, was a skeptic when it came to seeing a chiropractor. But, at the urging of my wife, and after having suffered with CTS for nearly a year, I finally did so (what could it hurt, right?) I can say, with absolute conviction, that it was the best thing I ever did with regard to my CTS. The chiropractor worked out all of the muscle adhesions in my forearm, stretched and increased the range of motion in my arm, neck, and chest area, and worked to massage and stimulate vascularity back into my tendons. After the first treatment, my median nerve was decompressed, which allowed for regeneration of nerve/sensation in my fingers, and subsequent treatments released and strengthened my tendons (the real, underlying cause of CTS). It took a while, but it worked. Chiropractors get a bad rap--I, too, used to ridicule people who sweared by them--but, when it comes to bio-mechanical repetitive stress injuries (which is what CTS really is), you can't get better help. Physicians just want to due surgery, because the notion that something can be cured, over time, with wrist adjustments, stretching, deep-tissue massage, etc. just goes against everything they've learned. My PCP wanted to due surgery the second he diagnosed my CTS .... which is just ridiculous--especially when you learn that the release surgery is really just a "work around", and doesn't address the underlying problems that caused the CTS in the first place. PCP's are misleading in that they will say , "It's inflammation, caused by overuse" ... but, when asked why it can't be treated, they have no answer. "Just get the surgery", they'll say, "You'll feel better"--as if that's an answer. Of course, they don't tell you that you will likely lose hand strength due to losing your transverse carpal ligament.
Surgery is ineffective at best. Hmmm. I had severe carpal tunnel and spent a fortune on a chiropractor who neither diagnosed me correctly nor was able to relieve my symptoms even a little bit. I've since had surgery and it's gone so surgery is ineffective at best. There really is a lot of rubbish on the internet!
Hi Dean, I am now six months post second op and my hand is 100% again. I think I could do all those things about 2 months after but I still had tenderness around the scar. How long post op are you?
Chiropractors aren't physicians, but I'm willing to try them as well as massage, acupressure, magnets and even acupuncture. My fingers up to my wrists, plus my left elbow (I'm a lefty.) tingle and are numb...since August.
i have get rid of my carpal for over a 10 years now. i have some other problems now with my spine and i know painfuly and depresing all of this sitiuations are. this morning it hits me that it is my obligation to share my way of healing. Sim Nu Tao: this is a form from wing chin kung fu i used train that before carpal. do this exercise every morning and evening. it heals carpal 100%. find a local wing chun instructor to teach you or you can find it on you tube. important is that you do it easy..you must do it extremly easy, focused and slow. nothing helped me and i was quiting my job and depression was ugly. until this saved me in 7 days. second rule is: what i know right now and that is food. no sugar, no gluten, no dairy and what you should ad to your diet omega3 expensive ones, ginger, vitamin c and lots water. hope it helps. peace
HELLO: I have questions regarding Wintergreen and Cypress Oil. Do I apply one right after the other, or do I wait a few minutes before applying the second? And about how fast will these work after application? Will these 2 bring temporary relief, or bring an end to this painful situation? Please reply to all questions soon? Thank You
Me again. Jesse Burns. I forgot to ask, how many times a day should these 2 be applied? And will I see results just by applying these 2 topical oils, or do I need to do all of the other things you suggested in order to feel the results? P;ease answer soon?
I found your video AFTER I went to my PCP. :( My symptoms started about four weeks ago. She wants me to go for an EMG and that terrifies me. I'd rather stick with natural medicine and see if I can relieve the pain/tingling. I have many essential oils, but not the two you mention. I'm going to order those tonight! Two questions. 1) How do you "traction" your wrist and 2) what do you think of EMGs?
Denise Stewart Why does the idea of an EMG scare you? I just went through one this morning so my doctor could rule out any serious nerve damage. Thankfully, I just have mild carpal tunnel, but I am sure glad we checked. It was a seriously easy procedure. And very interesting.
Rachel Lotspeich Because I searched online to learn what it was all about and hears so many horror stories about the pain. Some rated it a 9 on a scale of 10. Others said they cried. Just sounds awful.
I learned a long time ago to never search for anything online. It will lead to irrational fears or someone telling you that an essential oil can heal a legitimate nerve issue. I'd listen to your doctor. Hope you feel better soon!
EMGs are unpleasant, but the only real way to accurately diagnose the condition. Ignore the suggestions about essential oils to treat the problem. Essential oils have subtle effects; if it's bad enough that you'd go to a doctor, it's way past essential oils. If, after you've found a medical solution, you want to supplement preventative measures with essential oils (whether diluted for topical application or used in aromatherapy), that's great, but nothing can replace an EMG. There is simply no other way to get a definitive diagnosis of this sort of nerve problem. Remember, the EMG is a test, not a treatment, and you need to know what the problem is before you can properly select a treatment, even if you do want to try vitamins (though I'd recommend an actual treatment instead).
Can you please pray for me? I'm a 14 year old boy who uses the pc a lot but i learned a big lesson.

I also have carpal tunnel, and only as a last resort shall I have surgery. Thank you Dr. Axe, many of us appreciate you!
All I did was sleep on my bunkbed & I woke Up with this pain it's affecting my life daily activities. I've had it for months now.
how come all of this shit sounds like it will take more than 24 hours to work lol
Do you have this?
I think this is the link you wanted.

I've been studying relieving carpal tunnel syndrome pain at home and found a great resource at Dariks pain destroyer (look it up on google)

Thanks i had my carpal tunnel disappear 24 hours AFTER my surgery
Thanks, Dr.
RYAN071180 .. is this true?.plz replay I want to know..
I have been a guitar player for over 30 years and I am just starting to get carpel tunnel in my hands, particularly in my fingers.
Me to, sometimes my fingers go numb during playing.
I try some stretching exercises, Ibuprofen, and rub Voltarol into my wrist before the show. It seems to help. The most important thing I find is to keep the wrist warm .
Awesome info for Carpal tunnel syndrome. I will try all. . Many thanks Josh
+benbmusic88 Oh and I eat tumeric, and ground flax seeds everyday too.
+benbmusic88 I had to take a 3 day break this week from guitar. Which helps but I can still feel some of the nerve pain when I do certain things.
Please tell us what works for you. Thanks
Can you please make a video on how to get rid of tennis elbow? Thank you!
Thank you for the wonderful video, full of wisdom and true healing.
I took all those supplements for years. YEARS! NOTHING. My carpal tunnel got so severe I finally had surgery. BAM! FIXED. Recovery time is a week now. Wish I had done this years ago.
Joshua Eckhardt ~ Yep... Me, as well!!!
ive read alot of people who get the surgery not only have returning symptoms within 2 years but it gets worse because of scar tissue and stuff when did you get surgery?
I got surgery this summer on my left hand (btw I have carpal tunnel in both hands) I thought it disappeared but now (it was done on June) symptoms started to reappear already and my recovery time was 3 weeks ( for me 3 weeks without work are a big loss of money) plus it took around 3 more week to be able to use it again properly.
This does not work for everyone. Sometimes the adhesions grow back thicker and put more pressure on the nerves. People don't stop the cause of it, so the healing never gets better.
Martina D I
Dr. Axe, what supplements do you suggest for slowing down or reversing Osteonecrosis? Thanks in advance for your response.
Thank you
ThankYou Dr. Axe You are a wonderful caring person
Absolutely loved this video. Thank you so much for this valuable information. Lots of love from an Australian 🇦🇺❤
Whats an emg test?!
I don't want to get rid of my carpal tunnel - only my carpal tunnel SYNDROME!!!
Martinitime lmao
rofl - the guy is like "here's how to get rid of your melanoma, take vitamins..."
Best carpal tunnel treatment: bit.ly/2rXOTfh
I used to have issues with carpal tunnel myself. I did find treatment for it though. Go here to learn how I cured it: CarpalTunnel.club

Ok,im sure this should help.My hand has started aching this morning.I do use a mouse quite frequently.I've been looking for treatments.I hope I can rely on you Dr.Josh!!!
And what if it's pregnancy induced carpal tunnel? Can I still use your advice in your video?
I'm here because of pregnancy related cut as qell
it started last week after my exams. i written a lot than normal in the first 3 days of the week. the pain started. i can even see my pulse in wrist till it reaches the palm when the pain is harder
Thank you, this has a lot of value to me because my profession depends on it.
Writer, can't stop the repetitive actions, but will try this for the pain. :) Thanks for the help.
how did it go
All of these negative commenters probably haven't tried a single technique in this video.
Mr Chi i did and i still have pain
to have a thousand orgasms, put your finger in the garbage disposal and turn it on. DID YOU EVEN TRY IT!?
Truly agree
Hi Guy,s I have been an athlete and worked in construction for many years physically. So overuse on wrist. I have played guitar to highest level also. Have had problems with cts and waited six months for op on NHS. finally got the date of op and realized I had in fact nursed my condition almost back to normal. I am playing lead guitar on some very demanding stuff etc. So I think it can result in getting most of your general use back without surgery. I think surgery is a last resort.
thanks. but you shouldn't put "24hours" in the title. that disappoints me.
Also, factory workers. (And there are millions of them). Not everyone who gets carpal tunnel syndrome is an office worker.
I’m an artist and it’s in my dominant wrist.
yeah that's what i said, and i'm home resting, might have to take another day off, you can't keep going forever, i cant even lift the drill... ufff
I do scaffolding and i'm starting to get tennis elbow/carpal tunnel.
it's extremely painful
Me too except with playing clarinet
If you are an artist you should consider learning to writr and drawing with your left hand. Leonardo da Vinci was ambidextrous. Also you should invest in some Chinese medicine balls.
i feel the same
I have had great success from regular massage from a LMT. It's not all in the wrists but, in the neck and shoulders.
Dinkay
tHANK YOU your videos are very educational...and I'm taking your advice for several
A doctor in functional medicine is a doctor as much as Dr Dre is a doctor.
very encouraging inspiring and educational. So also very full of a lot of good knowledge, thank you 4that, very much, Good Luck & Blessings everybody.....☺️☺️😅🤗😅
I don't think he's had carpal tunnel, or knows much about it lol
There are several suggestions for treating carpal tunnel syndrome at home
Do stretching exercises
get the advice of experts or long term effects can occur
(I read these and the reasons they work on Dariks pain destroyer website )
There are a few factors in treating carpal tunnel syndrome at home. One plan I discovered which successfully combines these is the Dariks pain destroyer (check it out on google) definately the most useful guide that I've seen. Check out all the amazing information .
Not certain about the points made but ,if anyone else wants to learn about alternative treatment for carpal tunnel syndrome try Pycanta Tunnel Syndrome Protocol (should be on google have a look ) ? Ive heard some incredible things about it and my buddy got amazing success with it.
Actually my family doctor also recommended me a vitamin B supplement while I wait for hospital exams for ulnar nerve compression
I started getting it once and took a B-complex with an extra B6 pill and it started working the next day and was gone by the end of the week.
+joshua c hey do you remember what was it called? So did you take the B complex in addition to B6?
+Jeremy Wilburn yeah, I did and got cheap vitamins. chew them all up and they work 10x better.
+joshua c You mean chew them up instead of swallowing them!? Were they chewable tablets or capsules or regular pills? Haha! Isn't that kinda rough on your stomach?
Does it reallly work??????
(The main reason most physicians erroneously recommend surgery; the "quick fix" mentality of western medicine is appalling.)
5 - No mention at all of muscle adhesions that occur in the anterior forearm.
Madaket78 what kind of soft tissue techniques do you recommend? Graston? Massage? Please elaborate on your treatment … Thank you
I use those extra thick rubber bands from produce section.
It works on tennis elbow and wrist, carpel tunnel. fast relief.
It gives compression, adjust as needed
Dr. Axe can you do an video on how to get rid off Vertigo?

+Jose Gonzalez not sure if you are talking to me or the OP, but no relief thus far. wearing splints at the moment...so sick of this pain!!
+Jose Gonzalez not really. but I've also gotten lazy on the omega-3 thing so.... x.x
The omega 3 helps with carpal tunnel?
Jose Gonzalez Thats what this guys says and I've heard it does. I dunno lol
I felt instant relief!!! Thank u so much❤❤❤

WOW! It has taken me years of trial and error to learn most of the methods you covered! Sure wish I crossed paths with your video much sooner but very HAPPY to learn a few more methods and see you doing the world a great service! Big thanks and Props to you Doc :)
>Says medication is ineffective "at best"
>Says supplements are "the best"
And? Hes right.
Sir Tyler supplements aren’t medication. Get your facts straight.
im 15 and ive had this for nearly a year, and ive got main exams going soon and i dont want this to affect my education
Actually thought this guy was gonna sell me some wierd supplement. SUPER X CANAL FIX MACHINE. But it was actually just legit good advise
What's with all the negativity in the comments? Herbalism works with much less side effects as Pharmaceuticals.
This is great! Thank you for sharing. Supplementing has done wonders for me, I really recommend this to anyone having pain and swelling.
Been taking magnesium for years and started taking B complex about two weeks ago and it's not helping. This is BS.
Did you do the rest of what he said you twit? Just the posture advice alone has given me tremendous relief in 5 minutes.
sherri d Its not helping because that’s not the only thing you need to take to heal. You need to take AND DO all the above! It DOES WORK!
Turmeric, and a whole lot of it, helps a lot, too. I have had no problems with CTS since I began mega dosing with turmeric (which I really was taking for another reason.)
How much is a whole lot? I tried tumeric and got no results.
Thank you. Keep me informed when you release a new clickbait video and ofc dying for a next sellout.
Cheers and thanks for posting a video about this.
regarding b vitamins....I sink two energy drinks a day and they each have 100% b6 and b12.....so I'm not sure that one works
please join the pernicious anaemia / b12 deficiency facebook support group to ensure you are taking the best forms of these
If you don't stop what is aggravating it, no it will never heal.
Lol are you serious. You didn't seriously expect ENERGY DRINKS to help you with a health problem, did you?
Hey Dr Axe, as a barista what should I do on a daily basis at work etc?
can u show how to get rid of herpes
LMFAO, this comment is pretty funny.
Haha
yes, close your legs.
Thanks. I needed this 😔🙂
the moment he said chrtopractor... i knew it was a bulshit video
Vadim Belinski Chiropractic is the ancient Aztec god's revenge on western civ.
But, at the urging of my wife, and after having suffered with CTS for nearly a year, I finally did so (what could it hurt, right?)
I can say, with absolute conviction, that it was the best thing I ever did with regard to my CTS.
EXCELLENT. THANK YOU VERY MUCH. BE BLESSED.
Getting rid of Carpal Tunnel 24 hours? That statement is an absurd.
Sir very well explained Can you suggest a cure for bent thumb N a bunion bulging out at the side of the thumb Thanks
Hi Emma, how long after surgery do you start to feel normal again? I.e push ups; stretching hand without pain etc? .
Hi Dean,
I am now six months post second op and my hand is 100% again. I think I could do all those things about 2 months after but I still had tenderness around the scar. How long post op are you?
You say surgery is ineffective at bet but then say it cured your CT? Perhaps you don't understand what "Ineffective at best" means?
Everyone is different, I had 7 people tell me the carpal tunnel was worse after surgery due to the adhesions and obesity.
TheEmmasegura Your statement is contradictory
I hate RUclips's new method of scrolling the comments
What utter bollocks.
I think you're mixing up your body building regime and diet with genuine medical problems.
This has plegged me for ages
This dude just wants to sell stuff.
should I workout in gym during this?
Doctor of functional medicine = not a real doctor
Euro Bum..He probably stayed at a Holiday Inn so he's qualified
you have a lot to learn
Thanks it takes more than one day to get fixed
Dr Axe. Can you tell me what dosage you recommend for b6 and b12? You recommended dosage for magnesium but what about b6 and b12?
thank you so much ! you helped my grandmother tromdously ! 😊😊😊
Chiropractors aren't physicians, but I'm willing to try them as well as massage, acupressure, magnets and even acupuncture. My fingers up to my wrists, plus my left elbow (I'm a lefty.) tingle and are numb...since August.
Thank you Dr. Axe! Your information is always helpful and appreciated.
I found the information he provided ok. I will give it a shot to see if it works.
Please do a video on carpal boss. I think it’s due to Arthritis. Thank you 🙏

Thanks .very imp information regarding carpal tunnel
How do you actual traction out your wrist?
Thanks, Dr. Axe! You are the BEST!
HELLO:
I have questions regarding Wintergreen and Cypress Oil. Do I apply one right after the other, or do I
wait a few minutes before applying the second? And about how fast will these work after application?
Will these 2 bring temporary relief, or bring an end to this painful situation?
Please reply to all questions soon?
Thank You
Me again. Jesse Burns.
I forgot to ask, how many times a day should these 2 be applied? And will I see results
just by applying these 2 topical oils, or do I need to do all of the other things you suggested
in order to feel the results? P;ease answer soon?
Hello Dr. Josh. Is the treatment for Carpal Tunnel the same as Tendonitis? Please advice. Because I am having severe pain in my lower arm.
Is postpartum carpal tunnel a real thing? If so, any suggestions other than what you already mentioned?
That's so crazy. I felt it but it certainly wasn't painful. You just feel kind of like a tic. It was fascinating.
