I carry a deluxe tinker,on a suspension clip, every day. Used it several times this week. The clip helps it ride so it doesn't crowd the pocket. When I go hunting or I'm doing yard work I use the fieldmaster. I'd like to have a lot of the others but these do it for my needs. Good stuff, keep it coming.

Thanks Dean. I’m enjoying the Deluxe Tinker. I’ve usually got the Swisschamp in my pocket. It’s been a nice change.

I've been eyeing the champ for a while. I will be getting one soon. Can never have too many.

Happy Friday SJ & thanks for the new video. I don't EDC the Deluxe Tinker but I have one in my Home Tool box and I don't own a Swiss Champ is it is simply too bulky to use and has tools that I don't need like the Fish Scaler, instead I have , besides the Deluxe Tinker, in my home tool box - the Handyman along with the Cyber tool M (34), the discontinued Victorinox Marlboro Troubleshooter & the discontinued Victorinox Delmont S52 - all 5 have pliers. The Ranger is an occasional pocket carry SAK in my EDC along with a 2nd Troubleshooter that I bought 2nd hand & unboxed in AA+ condition on eBay (I also have a 3rd Troubleshooter - mint condition new in its original Marlboro wrappings over its old style Victorinox box with its original paperwork). I also have the Wenger Tradesman, an 85mm equivalent of the Deluxe Tinker, it has four tool layers and contains the Wenger exclusive slip-joint pliers

My "one and done" Victorinox is the HANDYMAN followed closely by the RANGER !!!!

Wow, this was great! I started using my pliers surprisingly much. I think this is a great recommendation. I wish more knives had a fish scaler though.
You really had me chuckling with this one.

I’ve been using this exact setup with a key clip for about a year now and love it. I added the plus scales with the pen and pin so it’s now fully loaded

I got mine for $1 at a yard sale. The blade was scratched up but its ok. I upgrade the scales and put on plus scales. I put a paracord lanyard on mine. Its an awesome knife.

Just fyi, the wire stripper works without the knife. The notch is textured. You just have to spin the notch around the rubber casing. Great video!

Nice video on a nice location too. (I’m impressed by the magnolia behind you.)
My Victorinox and Wenger EDC are tweezerless. It think they weren’t around in those days. Don’t even know the name of the Victorinox.
I like the Wenger New Ranger 5 a bit more because of the blocking mechanism making it safer in use. And it’s a bit larger. Also have the Wenger belt pocket.
For the Victorinox I just use a piece of rope attached to my belt loop on my trousers. Works for decades now.

This sak is great and I am required by law to buy it.
If you are wondering what law is that, well, I don’t have an answer, but I’m sure that it exists.
. I gotta have it, despite already having about a dozen sak’s. Thanks for this video!!!

It's definitely a really great option. I just have the Super Tinker, but love it. I'd say my "ExploRanger" is better, but it does not have pliers. Still a great knife as well.

For my personal reckoning, the perfect SAK, would either be a Deluxe Tinker, with the Philips swapped out in favour of a corkscrew. Or a Huntsman, with the saw swapped out in favour of a pliers.
My thought of an idea SAK, was made by Victorinox. It was the Deluxe Climber, which was only made for a short time in the 1990s, in small quantiles and only sold in North America.
If only Victorinox would reintroduce the Deluxe Climber, I’d be first in a the very long queue.

Tak,to dla mnie najlepszy SAK do EDC. Mam kilkanaście SAK,ale ten jest najbardziej uniwersalny.Do tej pory nosiłem Climber razem z Nextool Mini Sailor, ale mu nie ufam.Teraz mam dwa w jednym. Szczypce robią robotę.

    E
The SuperTinker looks great. Loved the snappy graphics. The only thing that puts me off is the back tool phillips. This is a great option if I wanted a UK legal carry with pliers, but I think I prefer the Explorer or the Huntsman and carry knipex pliers. The Hercules is closer to the perfect SAK, but it is a big boy and has a locking blade. So great for me around my home, but not UK legal carry...
