Building my first PC and man I’d absolutely love to get that AMD card, but kinda forced to buy the 4060Ti 16GB so I can use CUDA for machine learning :(
If they were the same price I'd get the 4060Ti hands down, even if it is up to 10fps slower, the fans run at 1000rpm slower so it's quieter, even though it has less VRAM it either uses the same amount or up to 50% less, and it uses 60-70W less power. And I guess nvidia drivers are more optimized because system ram usage is also the same or way lower on nvidia vs amd. But the 6750XT is ~$110 cheaper than the 4060Ti 8GB so it's quite the hard choice for me.
Everyone is saying amd is better ,yes it does those few fps xtra but did anyone looked at power consumption? Its like 30-40 %more with higher temps so i my personalnopinion i think rtx is more stable. Also fan's run like 30% more like on amd
Like if you have 450 or 500w psu and you dont want unexpected crash i think 16 gig of 4060ti is good if they price go down like for 350 it could be best gpu for future proof
You must be kidding. RX 6750 XT according to this benchmarks draws about 200W-220W in 2560x1440 most, plus CPU about 50W. Even with RAM/disks, which draws minimal power you mostly will draw about 350W. If you have power supply 80+ it means it is most efficient drawing 80% of full power so about 400 W. So you still lower than the point of most efficient work for power supply (which actually is not good for power supply).
Its only an error during editing, i used the wrong clip to show the settings. But the test itself is on 1080p. You can see different numbers on the 1440p test.
i honestly want to buy an amd card because im all for going against nvidia and their prices but the rx 6750xt from xfx is honestly too large for my build (i'm build m-atx) and it draws quite a bit of power compared to the 4060 ti. so in the long run i feel the nvidia would be a better buy since the price difference here where i live is minimal.
its misleading to test elden ring tbh. the game is 60 fps locked but can be unlocked using the flawless widescreen app. which only a few uses. not to mention the app is a 3rd party app which can potentially cause a vac ban. this is why i stopped testing it.

I have a 3070 and can't play games like hogwarts legacy with everything cranked up to max (on 1080p)
While I agree the 4060 ti is overpriced I had purchased a 6750 xt and returned it after one week and then purchased the 4060ti 8gb to replace a EVGA 2060 KO Ultra (I am still playing older titles) For me the bad things about 6750 xt. The power draw, I watch a lot of streams while idling about in games for hours and it draws way to much power 270+ watts for nothing unless I exit the game. The heat, the 6750 xt doubles as a room heater those watts equate to excess heat being pushed out by the fans. The one I had was only 2x fan so it was louder than I liked. So that would mean I would have to run my aircon twice as much in pc room while using the 6750xt in summer than a 4060 ti. The 6750 xt did crash 2 times in a competitive online game and I lost stats, after using DDU. Never had a crash in Win 10 before that. 4060 ti fans dont even run most of the time idles at 40c with dual screens, when 3x fans run its about 28 decibels or less, less fan noise than my case fans. Power draw very low, puts out low heat. My 3dMark tests 4060 ti 13671 , 6750 xt 13421. Anything that supports DLSS wins in most cases. Features like ray tracing and dlss change things in many games. The raw performance of the 6750 xt is better but the power draw is pretty bad, and that excess power = heat generation. If all you care about is raw performance and not worried about power and heat the 6750 xt is the better card and with 12 gb will probably last a couple years for 1440p. Lets hope the 50 series is better or AMD takes advantage of Ngreedias ridiculous 40 release and pricing.
Lots of things to say: 1 - 3dMarks do not, by any means translate gameplay performance 2 - I have a rx 6750 xt and it draws 6-10 watts (idle) 3 - Max TDP For rx 6750 xt is 250w so don't even know how you're getting 270+ 😂 4 - My 6750 xt idle is at 29c with fans at 15% 5 - FSR is thing, and dlss doesn't look much better tbh, I don't use up-scaling and i think its terrible that it started to be a thing, now game devs are starting to be lazy and to optimize their games for it
Yeah 150W vs 220W. Thats my concern too. But +4GB in these bad console port era would come in handy since these cards will be here for 2025 and 8GB is just not enough today. 12GB for $200 lower is just too important to say "who cares about +4GB"
@@martim_trindade you missed my point, when I idle in games that are running and I pause or pause doesnt matter the 6750 xt is still drawing a lot of watts, I play a lot of strategy games while watching streams and the 6750 xt would still draw a lot of power even if I capped framerate. Its just how I play games. Sure it idles out of games fine but that wasnt my issue. The running temps dont matter to me the heat generation does, all those extra watts = extra heat regardless of what the fans are doing. Its not quite double the heat but close. No reviews ever really cover this. You can see plenty of other reviews of the 6750 xt vs the 4060 ti and the fps is closer in those with only a 3 fps avg lead over many titles without taking dlss into account which is supported by more titles. It so happens the games I play support dlss and the ones coming out in the next year that I am interested in also. The 6750 xt is a better card for most and a better value by far but not for me personally.
@@951001ify I agree. I am so far behind on my backlog of new games on Steam and GOG ect. that it doesnt really matter to me. I might catch up by the time 50 series comes out. I certainly wont get 3 years out of it like my 2060 KO Ultra. I mean I am currently playing Outward, X-com 2 again modded, will play Fallout 4 again modded, need to finish Death Stranding, 4 Batman Arkhams the list goes on. BG3 supports DLSS and I will pass on Starfield until dlcs and on sale. The card is fine for me. The heat and watts were my issue with AMD not performance or vram which is great.
@@Cobon50 That has nothing to do with the gpu but the game you're playing, the 4060 ti is also consuming those watts you're talking about, the only difference is, 6750 xt max tdp is 250 while the 4060 ti is 160 so obviously it'll consume less power! Not to mention (Portugal and USA) the 6700 xt (literally same performance as 6750 xt) is cheaper than the 4060 ti, so really, theres no reason whatsoever to go to a 4060 ti, you re paying for "GEFORCE RTX" on your gpu. And please people stop saying things like "not to mention dlss" I Don't want to play my games with up-scaling don't make it the normal thing to do! Dafuq? Not everything should be compared according to their prices. An older/cheaper card is almost performing the same as the newer expensive card that alone is a reason to compare the two. Your logic is flawed.
RT especially in 2k is completly unplayable on 4060 Ti. I have much much better card than 4060 Ti and wide screen 2k monitor. No DLSS/FSR make up for the loses in RT. You better believe it or you'll be deeply disappointed.

get an RX6600 (150$ used, 190$ new) or RX6700 (around 300$ new). Look for the non-XT versions, they are a bit slower but they draw a lot less power. Again, make sure your PSU has at least 1x8PIN.

Even with 16gb vram of the 4060 ti, 1% lows is still better on Rx 6750 XT with 12gb of vram 💀

While I agree the 4060 ti is overpriced I had purchased a 6750 xt and returned it after one week and then purchased the 4060ti 8gb to replace a EVGA 2060 KO Ultra (I am still playing older titles)
For me the bad things about 6750 xt.
Lots of things to say:
1 - 3dMarks do not, by any means translate gameplay performance
2 - I have a rx 6750 xt and it draws 6-10 watts (idle)
3 - Max TDP For rx 6750 xt is 250w so don't even know how you're getting 270+ 😂
4 - My 6750 xt idle is at 29c with fans at 15%
5 - FSR is thing, and dlss doesn't look much better tbh, I don't use up-scaling and i think its terrible that it started to be a thing, now game devs are starting to be lazy and to optimize their games for it
Yeah 150W vs 220W.
It's just an excuse for laziness made by companies to pretend they did a better job over the previous generations.
