I buried my older brother a few weeks ago and I have found that the music we shared as kids gives me a little solace as I work through the grieving process. Don’t mind the tears. They are just memories turned into small drops of water. Thank you so much for posting this song.
Have been a Feat fan for a long time. I was sure losing Paul was the end and thought it arrogant or just stupid to try and continue. Now I know I was wrong. This is a different version of Willin than I have ever heard. It lacks nothing in sincerity as a tribute to those who went before. It stands on it's own as a great performance of a great song. Thanks guys.
One of my all time favorite songs. Never tire of listening to it. Thank you. My oldest son and I had the opportunity to meet Paul Barrere and Fred Tackett in San Diego a year or two before Paul passed. A very special evening. RIP Paul.
Followed yall since 71 over fm air waves to Toronto chum fm Just to hear one of little feat. Go with God Paul, Richie ,oh Lowel saw yal in Buffalo. IN 70's been a fan since. Go forward man it's the only way to go. ❤
I just seen these guys sat night in Nashville, Indiana and it seems all I have done since we left the other night is play all my Feet Albums and CD's and cry along. God bless you guy's , Paul, Richie and Lowell. Jammer
saw them with lowell 1976 as support of the who in london, never heard of them, next day, after that concert i went to a little record store in london called virgin, on oxford street, and the guy richard handed me two lps feat dont fail me now and sailin shoes...which one do you wanna have, i said: both !!!!!
The problem with the world today...and many wondering hearts is people do not have enough little Feet in thr three soul. Just good truth about all life. We all live it.
i was lucky enough to catch Little Feat at Winterland(SF) in...i think it was '76...they opened for ELO(though some might argue that it SHOULD have been the other way around...i don't really care. i left 2 songs into ELO's set. ; - ). one of THE best concerts i have EVER seen...and i've seen my share of great ones...these guys NEVER disappoint. long live the Feat...and thanks, guys...(Lowell, Paul and Richie included(very much), of course). i've played the mp3 of 'waiting for colombus' so many times i wore the grooves out. ; - )
My favorite theater. Lived 5 miles south in Huntington. Seen many acts there. A friend made his boxing career there. Sitting in the theater is like being home.
Really enjoyed this. I especially appreciated Jack Broadbent. Discovered him 6 years ago when he was a last minute fill in at The Porcupine Mt Music Festival in Michigan. He was/is unbelievably talented.
I only managed to see Little Feat once post Lowell George. I saw them in Wolverhampton UK and I had chance to go over to say Hello but I didn't. I kinda regret it but then again....I am just so happy to have seen them and Richie who is one of my all time favorite drummers. Little Feat Forever Feats Never Fail.
Bill , I love u guys . Been there since 1969, still there from Eurekasprings Ar. My heart is still with yall Lowel, paul, Richie. Seen yall 11 times and one rainout in LR Ar may God bless you..
Watching this video I learned of paul’s death . I felt horrible for next 2 weeks . Every time I listen to I I shed a tear . But the music lives on !! God bless
Commercials dropped into these kinds of moments are super offensive. I’ll never buy insurance from Amica or any of the products or services of advertisers who are naive enough to fall for this bs of robotic ad servers.
What a great song. I remember back to the inauguration celebration tent of Bill Clinton in 1992 and the little feat were there on the d.c. mall and I remember that the singer said "now it's finally one of us instead of one of them in office". Looking back I now understand what a foolish and misguided view that was and it makes me chuckle a little bit. The ironic thing is that he probably still has the same views today and most likely has not reconsidered any of it. With things like the clintonbodycount and other stuff I just don't see how that view can be reconciled but then again I love the music of this band but ideologically they stink. Why are Dolly Parton and Joan Jett being chosen for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Ted Nugent doesn't even get any consideration whatsoever? Ted Nugent sold 40 million albums..
Ted the draft dodger is still crying because a couple of female rocker’s made it in and several of them were voted being better guitar players than him. It’s kinda like a free and fair election, so why scream and cry like Teddy when your peers are the voters? Seems like there’s been a lot of that ideology being shoveled in the last few years…and we all understand the Big Lie stinks worse as jail time looms. Forever Feat! FCK Ted!
Respectfully, Glenn, it's Little Feat. Always has been, always will be, one of the best bands in the world ever. The band members may come and go, but it always has Little Feat written all the way through it every time they play.
@@reincarnatedman Nope. Litte Feat died with Lowell George just like Skynyrd died with Ronnie Van zant, The Who died with Keith Moon, and Led Zeppelin died with John Bonham, etc. Only the surviving members of Led Zeppelin had the sense to realize it. The groups that went on to portray the others were just weak tributes to their former selves.
Not Scott's best performance but he has improved by miles and brought something really special to Little Feat. The shoes he filled were ENORMOUS and the courage, soul and hard work he has put in and brought to the current lineup of Little Feat is stunning.
@@sea-dawg My God how wrong I was about Mr. Sharrard! After seeing them a couple times live I am now a huge fan and have lots of admiration and respect for his amazing contribution to Little Feat.. Not the best version of Willin but it has improved A LOT. I'm going to take down that post and thanks for reminding me about it. PS: My page is over a decade old and I'm not sure what was put up there...probably time I checked it out. Thanks again.
A lot of people lived their lives listening to Little Feat, and I was among them. Still living.
Thank you so very much for all the love.

Why is this band not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame?
This is great! Lowell would be proud. RIP Lowell, Paul and Richie

I feel very fortunate to have seen little feat several times in my life. I still consider them to be in a class of their own.
The only real comparisons were The Allman Brothers and The Band
@lesheath6216 three of my favorite bands however I put the Band up there first since they were pioneering that sound.
Thanks Paul RIP JACK COOL

Definitely one of the great classic rock bands. So glad I was brought up in the time I was. This just never gets old.
For me one of the most beautiful songs ever written ! ! !
Was thrilled to travel to Huntington NY to go to the great concert. Been loving Little Feat since the 70s.

What a stunningly beautiful rendition of the classic trucker's song.....brings tears to my eyes.
Was lucky enough to see them when it was in “high” school . I remember the great time i had , two of my crew are gone now but memories are forever!

Great version-only a pity that Lowell didn’t get a mention in the intro when he created the song and the band.
folks for some smokes, indeed
Linda hits the right notes and Lowell cannot answer back except thru present and past Feat.
Check out Billy strings cover
