Vita, you are not forgotten. You, your children, your lovely "assistant" and your country are in my daily thoughts and prayers. No one that I personally know has ever been through what you're experiencing. So I cannot say cliches like "I feel your pain" or anything similar.
What I can do is let my elected officials know what is important to me, and how I will vote. I don't know if they will hear me though. Sometimes I lose hope, my faith fails.
But God hears me even when I cannot find words. I can sit silently in unspoken prayer, and God hears me, God listens. But we all have to take action too. You have. You've prepared a countryside bomb shelter. You have an assistant to help you make irresistible content, but more importantly to be a companion for your son. I'll try to be more influential with my elected officials and my neighbors and my family.
And I'll continue to pray.

We can see through you and your assistant how destructive the missile attacks have been for the residents of Kyiv. Again weaving images that show nuances of the people's reactions being more pensive, focused with whatever their practical issues in the metro, their increased absence every where, the stark reminders of many who have fallen. Your mood and those in Kyiv remaining express a melancholia mixed with dread. There's the reality being faced of further missiles, the growing reality of defeat in the war with your allies deliberately "forgetting" about Ukraine (shown by the growing lack of publicity). This is compounded by your brilliant use of other images you've selected with music with still some remnants of positive the Ukrainian spirited attitude. Some did still go to the town square and the frequent presence of Ukrainian music remains - whatever happens - and some still trying to sell their goods.Plus your moments with your pets are rather uplifting. Rich is so cute and smart, while Fedya looks so grumpy. As if Fedya is annoyed by the Russian behaviour, though it is Rich he is very annoyed with for invading his home.

Happy New Year Vita. You and your assistant did an excellent job in your report. Maybe your assistant can wear a cape made of the Ukrainian flag's color, that would look really cool if he can walk on two legs and also wave a flag in his left hand😊 I hear you about the late news how Ukraine hit multiple Russian cities with modified Grad missiles, drones... many were killed in Russia and I also heard about what happened in Ukraine, all very unhappy news. Sometimes in wars when both parties hit a low point, maybe peace can be found and seen first as a candle in the wind and get brighter as time marches on. I think of Ukraine and I hope for peace and seeing children in playgrounds happily jump up and down and bring smiles to parents and Grand parents. That day will come back to Ukraine. In the coming weeks and months there are important dates that may have a positive impact on Ukraine's effort to achieve peace. The US congress will be back in session and they will be approving billions of dollars more in financial and military aid. In US there will be a presidential election and I believe in Russia too. Who knows, maybe a less of warmonger maybe elected as the new president. EU members will be supplying more firepower to Ukraine in terms of tanks, artillery and fighter aircraft. Cheer up, I think things may get better going forward in 2024; Ukraine may engage in another summer offensive without advertising too much. 🎉

My heart aches for what you and your country are facing, it really does. I can well understand your feelings of betrayal too, our media and governments can be so shameful sometimes but I hope the promised and much-needed help will be forthcoming. As for the coverage, the media can be fickle and selective though there are some honorable exceptions. It just makes channels like yours all the more important as a trusted source of news and reality for those around the world who support you. Sometimes I feel so helpless but always want to re-iterate that whatever news outlets or some leaders may do or say (or not) there are many of us who continue to follow and seek out the news of events in Ukraine and send our best thoughts, wishes and prayers for you all. The Canada Army was the only Volunteer Army Of WW2. Plus 35,000 U.S. citizens went to Canada to volunteer and serve.

In Ukrainian TV, the president needs to encourage his people to prevail at the frontlines, then the new year starts with combat footage.
Here people blow up literally hundreds of Euros each to "welcome" the new year but actually creating "frontline atmosphere", then TV starts New Year with Vianna Philharmonics...
Live can only get just when we see the injustices.
Every of that flag can only finally have made some little sense, when we see, what it is about, what the flags are for, how many would have to follow, would we not finally commit to that superior sense instead to our nonsense.

While average Americans have to go back to work tomorrow unfortunately those pampered privileged princes/princesses of the U.S. Congress won’t be back in session until January 9th. That’s when I get on the phone with my representative and senators and tell them to pass that 60 billion dollar support package for Ukraine. It’s a no brainer in my opinion. Either we support Ukraine and send them whatever they need to win today or we end up in a larger and more costly war later fighting Putins Russia later.
