I have been dying for Jordan to speak with you, David Stockman, or Dr. Bob Murphy from Mises Institute. Tom Woods from the Tom woods show would be great as well. Most of all, I would THOROUGHLY enjoy an discussion with Dr. Walter Block on the praxeology or someone like Hans Hermann Hoppe on private property. Those would be deeply philosophical and I think he would see how much his maps of meaning dovetails with Mises' understanding of Human Action.

No one ever taxed their way to prosperity? Oh REALLY? What do you think paid for the great land grant universities and the GI Bill, that brought the greatest period of solid economic prosperity in US history? Why do people repeat these slogans?
Taxes today don't bring prosperity tomorrow, no. Even building the nation's airports and highways didn't result in overnight prosperity.

What's so great about JP's interviews is that he brings his therapist style to it, meaning he actively listens, lets his guests speak, and has them systematically break down the complexity of their ideas for his viewers to understand. What an interview! Excellent. Listening to Peter never gets boring for me. Among all economic experts, Peter stands out as being sincere and explaining everything in terms that anyone with no background in economics can understand. Truth is , there is a perfect storm forming in America. Inflation, sever drought in the farm belt, the pandemic, food shortages, diesel fuel and heating fuel shortages, baby formula shortage, shortage of and price of available cars, the price of housing. It's all coming together and could lead to real disaster toward the end of this year.(or sooner)

The manipulation of the markets is unbelievable , In spite of how everyone is frightened and calling the crash, there is already an excessive amount of demand waiting to absorb it, which is another reason it's less likely to happen that way. This forecast was not made in 2008, at least not by the general public, as I will explain below. The ownership rate peaked in 2004, according to the other comment. We reached a peak in the second quarter of 2020 and are currently at the median level. From 2008 to 2012, it fell by 3%, and in the second quarter of 2020, it dropped from 68 to 65

America is currently plagued by the hydra-headed evil duo of inflation and recession. The worst part about this recession is that consumers are racking up credit card debt. In April of 2022 alone, credit card debt went up 20% while rates have doubled in a year. Inflation is so high that consumers are literally taking debt for basic life necessities. Jordan is a brilliant listener, he seems to be effortlessly able to summarise a long explanation statement into a sentence or two without misrepresentation or omission. Truly wisdom is in one's ability to listen, learn, critique, find the questions remaining, and recall in application or summarise simply. If someone can simply and honestly summarise with veracity, you know they understand the subject or statement. They are likely able to explain why it is true or false, it doesn't matter if everyone or no one believes him, that's a "you problem". Essence of humbleness. The wise are respectfully humble.

I am a homeowner (who is satisfied with my home / no intention to move) and yet I'm still terrified by the insane explosion in home prices over the course of the past 3 years; primarily because I have three young children and I would like for them to be able to buy their own homes one day as well. Homeowners who get happy when the (supposed) "value" of their homes explodes upward are being shortsighted. The middle-class being priced out of the dignity of homeownership isn't good for any of us, whether we already own our homes or not.

The core analysis that he has always given yhough is a sound one, namely that you can't build an economy on super low interest rates, ever increasing levels of debt etc. Most understand that that is something that can't go on forever, but it is quite impossible to predict exactly when the end of the line will be reached.

Some economists have projected that both the U.S. and parts of Europe could slip into a recession for a portion of 2023. A global recession, defined as a contraction in annual global per capita income, is more rare because China and emerging markets often grow faster than more developed economies. Essentially the world economy is considered to be in recession if economic growth falls behind population growth.

We enjoyed the crystal clear discussion in 'Economic Storms are Coming', featuring the esteemed Mr. Peter Schiff and Dr. Jordan B Peterson. Both Schiff and Peterson are true luminaries in their fields - business, politics, economics and psychology.
Schiff's relentless commitment to promoting economic literacy and his tenacity in the private sector, particularly with his gold business and numerous financial ventures, are a testament to his dedication. Beyond his entrepreneurial endeavours, Schiff's commitment to providing a financial safety net for the public highlights his role as a protector of the public's financial well-being and solidify his role as guardian of public economic, business, and economic health. His comprehensive and intricate radio streams and podcasts may be complex, but they reflect his commitment to sharing valuable insights with the public. Additionally, Schiff's deep sense of political responsibility to elucidate public understanding on governance issues is truly commendable. His forthright communication of ethical governance principles has become a cornerstone for many. Our hope is that the excellence in teaching that Mr. Schiff demonstrates, whether it's in Austrian economics, business, or politics, is recognized universally. We wish that one day the Austrian School of Economics considers awarding Mr. Schiff with an honorary degree to respect and acknowledge his status as a teacher or professor of the world in these critical domains of business, economics and political theory, if not at the very least in economics. We eagerly anticipate more of such compelling and enlightening discussions."
Similarly, Dr. Peterson, a true Canadian hero, tirelessly advocates for his fellow citizens. His unwavering support for free speech and his efforts to promote critical thinking resonate with many, making him a beacon of hope in these challenging times.
Both Schiff and Peterson, in their unique ways, demonstrate an unyielding commitment to public service, public safety and intellectual enrichment. As pertaining to Canada, this commitment is echoed by Pierre Poilievre, who has emerged as a significant figure for his people and for humanity as part of his own heroic journey.
We hold immense appreciation for their tireless efforts to foster understanding and encourage forward-thinking in their respective domains.

It’s important to note that not all stocks are affected in the same way by inflation. It’s important to choose stocks that are expected to hold up in inflationary environments. To combat the negative effect of inflation, it’s a good idea to diversify your portfolio across different asset classes, such as stocks, bonds, and real estate, since this can help protect your portfolio against inflation. So, you naturally assume that you're paying for a monthly subscription. "Cancel at any time," it says. BUT, they have in small letters at the bottom, "billed annually." So, while it says X per month, it's actually a full year subscription, and you can "cancel at any time," but you've already paid for a year. The _actual_ monthly subscription is the last one they list. That is just beyond scummy to me, as it feels like they are blatantly trying to trick people into yearly subscriptions while presenting it as a monthly subscription. When I saw that, I refused to pay them, as it shows their fundamental lack of decency or honesty.
