I’m always amazed how much there is to learn about DCS from your videos; even those that aren’t technically tutorials. Great to see you making some videos again.

Don't forget to set playback quality to highest / 1440p.
The cockpit footage for flight was recorded from the VR mirror, so (as with all VR recordings) it is a bit shaky. I've tried to reduce this with the OpenXR "over prediction reduction".
I am also using some OpenXR foveation, so the edges will be quite pixelated. Centre of screen should be sharp(ish)
There's at least one bad edit (external view on landing).. and quite a lot of pre takeoff blah blah blah. Will reduce that for future recordings. It's going to be a while before I get back in the groove.

9:26 Why does it start Smelling Like Kenosha so much? XD
(for those that get the reference, start playing that invaluable piece of art at the given timestamp, thank me later)

Good to see you back in DCS!
I’m just learning the Viggen, coming from WWII era.
I’ve run out of buttons to map for all the Radar controls and knobs.
I’m looking forward to 2.9 coming for the WWII planes. I’m guessing it’s better AI.

    Hi Phil:
I imagine you're sick of these questions but have you heard any mumblings behind the concrete curtain at DCS headquarters about any new WWII major developments. My thinking is if they would make the bombers flyable maybe add a P-38 and a 109 G-6 that would be really nice. Also why always make Normandy missions or are those the only spawnable bases? I still love Cliffs of Dover but everybody has left. The new update FORTRESSES AND FOCKE-WULFS - DIEPPE looks pretty interesting for sure but no new terrain 8..( With so many years gone by I thought a new landscape would surely be in the cards and with DCS you get jet after jet after jet. Last. Do you think you'll ever start up another SOW server again? Thanks Phil.
