This rear wheel drive platform could have endured well into the future if BMW designed this model to accept a longitudinally mounted inline 4 cylinder instead of that room-sapping 6 cylinder engine (as good as it is).
I really cant decide between Golf GTI 2015 (fully packed, incluiding ACC and other extras) and a BMW 125i m sport 2014. Same price. Any inputs would be appreceiatted.
With proper winter tires you wont get stuck even with 2WD. The BMW would probably be more fun in general, if there are twisty roads near you. Both cars are great overall, though, so I guess it comes down to personal preference.

@@Daniel_Timmerman After nearly 2 years of ownership absolutely fantastic car keep up with a lot of more powerful cars the engine has so much potential looking at getting a tuning box take it to a comfortable 249bhp and a very impressive 374nm of torque I'd highly recommended the bmw 120i make sure you go for the amazing zf 8 speed automatic mate 👍

As far as I know, they will continue with 30i and get completely rid of 28i when older models such as z4 28i replaced with new models. İ guess they are lowering the budget between models and forcing us to buy higher segment cars (for example i should buy f30 3series instead of f20 1series) and also I live in turkey so the taxes are pretty high here. the taxes based on cc :D

I personally think that this has a decent amount of horse for a rwd car, anything higher and you just run the risk of spinning it out

Same engine only less hp 🤝 120i just do it stage 1 and it goes 260-280hp but by a good tuner 😜
Differrent internals too, reinforced cylinders etc, so in stage 1 it can fucking rapid

With proper winter tires you wont get stuck even with 2WD. The BMW would probably be more fun in general, if there are twisty roads near you. Both cars are great overall, though, so I guess it comes down to personal preference.
