did you know that shadybug and claw noir are one year older than ladybug and chat noir? That means Evil marinette had an extra year of chloe bullying her. if you rewatch the origin episodes you can see Marinette was near her breaking point. here is what i think happened in the other universe.
I wouldn't be surprised after the hat competition evil marinette most likely attack chloe and both ms bustier and dimocles punshed her instead this what started to break her. she lashed out and the bridge between mother and daughter crumbled and this fully broke her spirit. this is the exact moment the supreme showed up saying this: People around you never really cared about you. i know you desire revenge, i can give you the life you truly deserve be warn if you use the ladybug miraculous you agree on my rules. i'm only trying to get back what's rightfully mine. you can have your revenge too.
and due to being broken she said yes.
When they found out that Ladybug and Shadybug are the same person and Cat Noir and Claw Noir are the same person Then why did not Ladybug get the idea of Asking Betterfly his real name , In that way it would've been way easy for ladybug and cat noir to find Shadow moth 😩

This Special actually revived my hope for the show. Like, I enjoyed EVERYTHING! There wasn't a single moment where I thought they did something stupid (well, except not asking Hesperia/Betterfly for his secret identity, but I get why they didn't).

When I was in early elementary school, I was in a very similar situation to Shadybug's Marinette. i had NO friends. My sister, though helpful, did not want to spend ANY time with me at school. My Dad and I frequently argued. And my mom and I, well, she was there for me all the way, but couldn't BE there for me all the time. It seemed like all was lost, with bullies picking on me on an almost hourly basis and little to no happy escape to home, because no friends there either, just more neighbourhood bullies. But then, in fifth grade, I found a friend. He gave me something to latch onto and hold on tight. He was my Alya. Soon, I began rising against the bullies, making them hurt me less. When high school came, I was finally away from the bullies, and I could finally flourish. By the time i graduated, i was on the honour roll, I had earned Student of the Year in my Junior Year, and I was known and liked across the school. i had more friends than I ever could have imagined, and was proud of myself, and eternally grateful for that one friend. Today, i am a teacher that has helped many kids get over their bullying problems, using my experience to keep them away from falling into the same pit. If you feel yourself falling into a pit, TALK TO SOMEONE! YOU ARE NOT ALONE! Always remember that.❣

@@TheMayaBShow thank you. Bullying is something everyone will experience in their lives. i don't try and end bullying completely, but I try and lessen the damage the kids suffer. One kid in particular was actually a neighbour of mine when I started off teaching, and he was bullying a bunch of different kids in a class i was substituting in. When I pulled him aside, he didn't seem to care what he was doing. i later went to his dad, who was a local fireman and former bullying victim, and he was mad as a hornet at his son for acting like he did. The father went on to tell me that, when he was his son's age, he was bullied relentlessly as I had been. The way he got around it was that he joined sports that got him stronger and fitter, and it turned him in the big man he was when i knew him. He overcame bullying by finding a way to not be intimidated by the bullies any longer, a technique I took to heart and have used for many of my students. his son now understands that bullying is just not cool and is working on improving his life. There are always going to be people like Chloe (which is why i say that the way she acts is not too "TV" for a bullying victim), and standing up to them is the only way they'll get silenced.

Theory: when Mari in the end of Season 5 tried to subconsciously change Monarch hoping Monarch would redeem himself, is connected with the "Hope" that she have seen through Betterfly, Shadybug and Claw Noir, that even the most evil person can change, however we have seen that Ladybug's hope of change wasn't successful since Monarch already had plans and no one can change that.
There's no word that can describe how good this special was. But there's one thing that bothers me though. At the beginning of the special, we see Shadybug and Claw Noir bursted through Gabriel's secret basement, so did Adrien ever wonder why was there a secret basement/Butterfly's hideout underneath his own house?

@@Libra712I don't know. But well, I do think that Adrien ignored that fact. I just watched cat blanc and the sequences are pretty similar. Before seeing his mother, the reveal happened and soon after they found hawkmoth's lair. If they found the hiding place then they should know *if* its in the mansion then hawkmoth must be Gabriel. I don't know why ladybug didn't find out. It's such a mysterious episode.
The point of the alternate universe was to show what would've happened if Marinette and Adrien didn't grow from their traumatic experiences/"canon events". So to the people asking why Chloe is still a bully: it's because it's a pivotal moment in Marinette's growth and Alya was one of the main reasons she moved past it.
Unlike with the show especially season 5 and the other specials. This one actually felt like both ladybug AND cat noir were main characters. The talk between adrian and claw were better in imo then marinette and shady as where the latter were opposite, most of what claw and adrian went through were the same making it better. Plus loved how insane claw was. Only problems I had were why didn't any of the main universe ask the identites of the other universe and why would marinette write the details and steps to do the wish in her diary which has been stolen before
This special is so good, it’s just the best honestly! Also I love Betterfly so much, wish we could see more of him. Don’t say Gabriel is gone 🥺😭
I knowww! 😭 this really was the last time we’d be seeing Gabriel however I do recall Thomas confirming at an event that we could expect to see Gabriel in S6 so whether it’s flashbacks OR actual moments of him being present, I can’t wait to see what the season will hold! Definitely gonna miss him though and hearing Keith 🥲

This is my new favorite special. It was everything I wanted and more. I do agree with Maya, it would've been nice if Monarch and Betterfly met each other.
I am absolutely OBSESSED with the story of this alternate world, and I would love to see a spin-off series where they get to cater to the older audience who has always wanted to see these characters taken in a more mature direction. Something PG or PG-13, not for any sugestive or crude content, but to allow for more in depth exploration into the themes of grief, abuse, neglect, and self loathing that the show currently dances around. There has always been a very large section of the audience who wants to see the show taken in this direction, and I think if they let Shady and Claw wipe off the eyeliner they would have the perfect setup for a spinoff to do just that.
From the point where Shadybug started reading Marinette's diary, My only thought was "My BABY! What happened to you!?" 😭😭😭

My absolute favorite scene from this special was near the end when they were demonstrating their plan. It’s just the unification, the plan in general, and THE MUSIC I just love! (Especially the music change haha :D)

a misconception people have is that the robot is Max, not Markov. That's what sparked the theory that a man named Markov created Max in the reverse world.
OMG!!! When I first watched the special it also was everything I hoped for and more. I even cried so hard during some very emotional scenes lime when emo mari breaks the mirror and then towards the end both versions of Adrian and Mari have a deep convo with each other and i couldn't stop crying over the fact how they were so different but so alike. Not only that, I'm with you Maya, I literally couldn't stop laughing my head off when Shadybug fell from the sky and Clawnoir was supposed to catch her but instead to purposely miss the catch. It was really nice that Thomas and the other creators added a bit of humor to this special.

The emotional scene between Mari and reverse Mari after their fight really hit home. The writers and Christina did such a good job and the animation of reverse Mari’s emotions slowly changing when Mari spoke felt so real. You could clearly see her hesitate and contemplate Mari’s words. Reverse Mari honestly has to be my favorite character in the whole series. I rlly hope they bring her and Clawnoir back.

Why does the Supreme seem so much like Null from the PV era. I mean, both of them put limits on Tikki and Plagg. Null wanted to reduce thr world back to nothingness from what I remember. So, this could be the new, 3d version of Null, or Master Fu as everyone thinks.

Not gonna lie, this special hit me hard. way harder than chat blanc did. it was pretty beautiful to say the least, my favorite aspect of it was the titular heroes reconciling with their villainous doubles. I honestly cried inside when Shadybug snaps at Ladybug(and vice verca with the cat boys). [small note: when I re-watched the special, I chose to play 'Theme of a tragetic revenge' for fight scenes with Ladybug and Chat Noir vs their evil versions and 'EVENT: Reala Returns' for when the 2 villains make their first appearance in Marinette Prime's room. as for when the heroes reconcile with their doubles I chose 'Memento of NiGHTS' and 'sonatinas of 2 violins'. all 4 tracks are from NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams because I thought they would fit with the special.(I honestly felt remined of the dream jester when I first saw this special, mostly because Shadybug reminds me of Reala in terms of personality). those are my thoughts on it at least.
I wish The Movie Ladybug and chat noir also appeared in special when we got to see other holders from the parralal universe. However, This special is my favourite spacial so far. ❤❤❤

I like how even tho we don’t know everything that happened to the parallel universe’s marinette and adrien we can still connect with them and kinda imagine what would have happened through them talking about it in the final fight I do hope we get a backstory episode or something maybe what they’re doing now that would be awesome

Betterfly/Hesperia was the star in this special hands down. Such a compelling and nuanced character for the short time we had him and probably the best character in mlb in my opinion.
People hope for a shadybug/claw noir spinoff but I want a Reverse Gabriel centric tv series. A lone hero trying to fight back against corrupt system and simultaneously coping with his wife’s death and being a single dad? Sign me up!

It’s was the best the problem is the movie is short they could have shown us thier universe and who is the supreme and more i hope another movie comes that shows us thier universe
in the end when monarch tried to enter in other universes, because of the disruption caused while shadybug and claw noir were going back, ladybug was able to stop him but technically he can still go on later? just because ladybug was aware of it, he wasn't able to go through but now he has a chance. The animators made this a question mark for me :') but still! this special had me squealing and gave a very important message on sharing their emotions with people instead of locking it inside your heart. The conversation between them was very heartwarming and me making a waterfall in my bed.
This was definitely the best special ever i think miraculous ladybug might be the best Disney show ever this is my opinion

I don't understand some things though if the Gabriel is good there then why did he shut his son out and why does the Supreme needs the butterfly miraculous and why were tikki and plag not allowed to talk but nuroo was?And also why was ladybug I mean shadybug had cracks on her face? Did the miraculous shadybug heal it? And if Gabriel's name is Betterfly and Alya is Ubiquity then who is Hesperia? And tikki said Removing the security system of miraculous (the 5min detransform) is terrible for young holders. But Ladybug and Cat Noir also removed this system in episode 23 there weren't any consequences I mean they must have grown up mentally or miraculously but didn't physically right?🤔

so that means using the power for younger holders without tranasforming back can tire the kwamis and if the kwamis get hungry and they dont feed them,
then they will slowly destroy themselfs too along with the miraculous
so after in the episode revolution ,it is confirmed that grown up holders can have longer time from their powers not according to the age but mentally grown teenagers or adults
and since cerise is a young holder now of the butterfly miraculous ,i wonder what the big light was behind her in the end of recreation

I just realized that 2 more people knows about Ladybug's and Chat Noir's identity and it's Shadybug and Claw Noir and Shadybug also knows Chat Noir's and Claw Noir knows Ladybug's identity.
Remember when Ladybug and Chat Noir tried to talk some sense into Shadybug and Claw Noir that they do can change into good, they just need to try and close out every bad things in their life? When they did, they both revealed their identity to their parallel universe self.
And right now you probably wonder how Shadybug knows Chat Noir's and Claw Noir knows Ladybug's identity. I'll explain it. When Shadybug tried to grant her wish, she needed her miraculous and Claw Noir's miraculous to summon Gimmie / Gimmi. Technically she just took Claw Noir's miraculous off of his finger while handcuffing him, making him detransform, and then she saw behind Claw Noir's mask is the parallel universe Adrien. Paralell universe Adrien also saw the paralell universe Marinette detransform, making herself reveal that she's Shadybug. And in the end of the special we all see the 6 of them standing near to the eiffel tower. I think Shadybug and Claw Noir is not that stupid to not figure it out that behind Ladybug's mask and Chat Noir's mask there's their good version of Marinette and Adrien and they know this very well after they revealed their identity to each other.
PS: How in the camembert they didn't been able to figure it out that Betterfly (Hawk Moth's parallel universe, who is using his miraculous for the greatest good) is Gabriel? 😂 I mean his hair was showing, and it was like Gabriel's hair, even the color was the same, only the style was different 😅🤌🏻

I agree this Special was incredibly done especially the fights and their story I also want a spin off and looks like in this universe adrien likes to be a model
I actually have a good theory about Lilla. No one knows who she is some people think she's a time traveler and that she's Manon from the future. Other people think she's Marinette's half sister. But I think she's from the alternate reality where Shadybug and Claw Noir are from. Most people are mean in their world and she lies all the time. She also wanted the butterfly Miraculous and she knew Gabriel was Monarch. Maybe the Supreme sent her to the alternate reality to get the other Gabriel's Miraculous since he couldn't get one from their universe back from butterfly or maybe shes working against the Supreme. She could still be Manon tho from an alternate reality. She could be from the future of that alternate reality. Maybe she's pretending to work for the Supreme when really she wants the Miraculous for herself. This would explain the strange light we see at the end of season 5. It's just a theory but it's pretty good and it does make a lot of sense. Because Thomas never leaves characters from any of the movies out of the series. They always come back into the show at some point. And this would be a way for them to keep Gabriel's voice actor in all languages of course because the bad Gabriel is dead and they still have the Gabriel from the other world. And I don't think they would pay for the body models of better fly and Shadybug and calw Noir if they aren't planning on useing them again. Because it is expensive to make body models and they don't have just one body model they have their every day look and their new good designs. I think we will see them again. But remember it's just a theory.
Monarch couldve took the miraculous but he always wastes his opportunities he could've removed the aluminium from ladyour and went to another universe or went to another universe another time
