I live in the apartments next to UofA and have one of the best views to watch these badass planes take off and land. Nothing beats that roaring sound of the engines when they fly over my building.

The helmet strap of the pilot is loose. And pay attention to how quickly he raises the gear. In after burner the max speed for gear down is reached in seconds.

@@Virvum_Juggernaut Correct, in the end you find out it was all worth it (the real enthusiast ones) but I've met ppl who were trynna avoid flights etc. Not everybody is made for that job, don't forget, it's a big risk for your life.
Me while stationed at DM: "Will I get to ride in the plane?" Them: "No." So I feel both happy and a little jealous for the back seater.
