See the thing is that they leave mental headroom on top of what they're doing here for combat. They train to be only be using a percentage of their mental awareness to fly so hard. They difference between a good pilot and a great pilot is how much headroom % they have left for combat and situational awareness.
do they even see air combat as in dog fights anymore? or is it just flying over obliterating weddings?

Mad respect for the pilot and the passenger! I’m perfectly happy on the ground being a RUclips passenger!
This looks incredibly amazing! Fighter pilots are a whole different breed of human being. To pull that many G’s like it’s nothing at all and maintain control like that is bad ass.
I was an athlete through my 20s. Now at 38 with 2 kids, I feel like I’m gonna pass out when I bend over to pick up one of their toys 😂.
What a beast!
😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣
well athletes tend to do worse with G because they have a lower base BP
a short slightly overweight man with high cholesterol and hih BP will typically have better basic resistance to G lock
Note, I'm talking basic resistance, Not trained G lock straining, and athlete that strains properly should have the better end result.
Haha I know the feeling when you bend down to get something then get up you feel dizzy haha
Never too late to get into shape I was never an athlete mostly sat around played computer games, and in my 50's started have some health issues. I worked hard for a year and dumped all the weight never felt better in my life. I think I'm more of an athlete then I was in my 20s. One regret was not doing this when I was in my 20's and continued it there so much to do outside. I limit my time on the computer now to 1 hour a day other then work where I have to use it. This was absolutely amazing!! She did great!! Thank you so much for posting this. Mad respect to you both!! 🇺🇸
She was AMAZING! For just having gotten a brief tutorial on how to breathe and then 9.1 G's shortly into the flight! She shut her eyes briefly on the major G's but she was just concentrating. No passing out. The pilots are amazing. They have to pull those G's while still operating the plane with eyes wide open. She should consider a career change! She totally could handle it. Great job to both of them. The pilot was a credit to the military.
I agree, I’m seeing comments where people swear she passed out. She didn’t pass out. She was just very focused.
@@MeeMee-gz5vp I have seen videos of backseaters passing out and when they open their eyes they aren't focused at first. Not her. She purposely closed her eyes to concentrate and when she opened them she was completely focused and lucid. No shame in passing out were that to happen. She was rock solid that whole flight. Talkative and enjoying herself!
You know just sitting in the passenger seat and just concentrating on to breath right and not passing out ist one thing. Put have full controll over the jet in a fight is a completly other story
@@rolfstuh Totally agree. Pilots get to practice that breathing over and over again. To just get thrown into a jet, with no prior experience, and do that well is impressive. That doesn't mean she could pilot one. Who knows? I am impressed by those pilots. That guy just causually threw that plane around like it was a walk in the park.
i was struggling with 7.5, meanwhile my pilot was yelling at the student about how to correct his mistakes in the same pull lmao, the human body is 100% not made to do that shit, i have no idea how some can withstand 9 with no problem
Just pulled 9.5 G’s - ‘Are those cows down there?’ Lol. You killed it girl!
Agreed. Kinda funny, she asks about what they grow in the fields, the ”botanicals” as she calls it. Notices a bug in the cockpit and says hi to the cows in the pasture 😁 Just a walk in the park...
@authorization batman lol I want to see you pull 9.5G's without passing out
@authorization batman We get it you, your wiener is little..
@authorization batman dude, fucking relax. 9.5Gs is about as high as a lot of fighter pilots will ever pull in their life (plenty of interviews online to prove this) and just because it isn’t life threatening doesn’t mean it isn’t impressive for a non pilot to handle so well. Plenty of people pass out under far less aggressive situations. You’re calling others simps but you’re really just being a dick
I'd like to take her out for a congratulatory beer. Love her attitude, beautiful!!!
First I would like to compliment that young lady for hanging in there and not blowing lunch!! My hats off to you sister as I could NEVER have done what you did there and you enjoyed it and that's the best part. I got to enjoy that ride with you. I live close to Kingsley Field in Oregon and it's a training base for those awesome jets. I would love a ride but it would be so boring for the pilot. I am a private pilot for 45 years though and I would love the opportunity to take the controls just once. But thank you and that pilot for taking me with you on this flight. Absolutely awesome and young lady, you're the very best for hanging in there like that!!!
Best Regards,

I still have a permanent smile on my face from my F-16D incentive flight in Misawa, Japan, back in '04 The negative Gs really hurt! Got super sick, but never hurled. It was epic!
If you never felt what this is like, you will never understand exactly how brutal a flight the pilot put her through. I bet there is less than 1 in 10,000 people that could have took this without going out. Anything over 8 G's is insane.
She has a G suit on though & o2
I mean yes and no. Almost all of her high-G maneuvers were very short, like less than 10 seconds. I can promise that she had tunnel vision for some, and "grey-out" for the min-radius. Pretty hard to G-loc in that short period of time, though. Besides, Viper has a serious recline in the seat which makes the G's much more tolerable than say a NAVY jet. She kinda seemed like she wanted to tap out there for a little bit, but I'll give her credit for regaining her composure and not ending the flight early.
Amazing how calm and collected he is, he is absolutely in his element flying his jet, so cool to see! What a career!

Its literally wild how she is staying awake, but whats even crazier is the pilot talking like hes out to an afternoon brunch.
So love your channel. 20 years ago I was an oxygen delivery driver. I had a patient that flew the P51 mustang in WW2. To me, that was the F16 in that era.
Pull a few G's for God and Country! 30 years in the ANG, I flew a lot on KC-135s and watched air refueling but never got a fighter ride. Never gets old watching these, brings a tear to my eyes!
That radio communication sounds so sweet as tower control and the pilot communicate. The reply times are quick.👍🏽✌🏾2,000… for 1-0 thousand. Sweeeeeet!
Capt. Hatcher did absolutely amazing, but Maj. Waters is talking through this like he's driving a bike. Fighter pilots seriously amaze me!
From a former fighter pilot, well done!
Silly question but I always wondered how does one transition from being affected by intense G’s to being able to actually operate one of these machines and be so unaffected that you can literally talk while doing so. Is it just repeated exposure until your body adjusts? Is that what this passenger is doing? I mean obviously you wouldn’t be placed in the drivers seat if you are having to constantly do the hick maneuver and/or in danger of passing out right?
