- Yeah, talking about Shelby Can-Am on one of my FB groups. Realized I had some footage on one of my old movies. They were supposed to be where you moved up after competing in Spec Racer Ford (originally Renault). But at $25K back then, hardly anyone bought one. Wiki's close enough for the history..en.wikipedia.o...
We need this guy to return
Great video!! Is there anyway you can upload the 1995 12 Hours of Sebring? I was there and in my estimation Jan Lammers won that race even though they declared Fermin Velez as the winner following a mishap with the timing equipment……
Is this the Valvoline runoffs up at meadow Ohio? What year?
Post it to our group. You deserve the credit.
I am trying to find official race results, entry lists or qualifications for SCCA Shelby CAN AM events during 1994 or any other years. I have slides of the cars but no way to identify the car and driver. Any help is sincerely appreciated. Many thanks to "oldSCCAguy yah.
All the official SCCA records now reside in Watkins Glen NY at an off-site storage facility of the IMRRC.
It wasn't until the advent of the FE (Formula Enterprises) that the SCCA finally got around to a Spec Race car that looked good, handled well and sounded good. The SRF-Gen 3 seems to be a step in the right direction in that regards for what used to be known as Sports Renault/Spec Racer. I wonder why it took so long?
I've got a buddy here in SEDIV (one of the Carolina Regions, but I can't recall which at the moment) with an FE. They're great cars. He's pretty quick (Bronze last year at the Runoffs), been chasing Rettich through the Majors down here this year. He's gonna make another run at it!
Are you talking about Paul? I run FE in the CenDiv with One Formula and almost ran down at Road Atlanta with him earlier this year. Yes, the FE is a fantastic car!
what an abomination! never seen it before
You did good
Thanks!
@@oldsccaguyyah9901 I just posted a request based on your video from RA. I'm a SCCA flagger from CFLA Region.
