EU Blue Card holders are not entitled to attend an integration course as only minimal need for integration is assumed to exist. In accordance with section 44 subs. 4 of the German Residence Act, a foreigner who does not possess an attendance entitlement may however be allowed to attend, depending on the available number of places on the particular course.

Hi, thanks for very informative video..I have a question here...1. Do we need to fill the half price Cashback form at the start of the course or we can do it after passing of exam within 2 years..

If you pass the final examination at the end of the integration course within two years of the confirmation of eligibility to attend the course being issued, you can, under certain circumstances, claim back half of your payments towards the cost. You must submit and send a signed application to the regional office responsible for you.

so far I know this price and this condition is nationwide.. I have received my 50% after I finished my course. They probably didnot complete the course within 2 years or didn't have minimum attendance for it ...
but they can contact them and ask again ..
How long are the validaity of those certificates?
For citizenship in 6 years even if language is b2..do you need to do full integration course..

Hello, thanks for the useful information. I have a question about integrationskurs certificate. After succesfully passing both exams (DTZ and Einbürgerungstest) does the integrationskurs certificate come automatically or did you apply somewhere to get it? Thanks a lot

I have two questions which are not answered and will be good addition to your video:
1. Can you use these 100 hours per module in any time-frame and as per your schedule, e.g.. by doing 1/2 hr. per day course for 3-4 month period?
2. What if you apply for the integration course, start it and then you decide to leave Germany (move back due to job, spouse etc.)
2.1 Or decide to stop the course (e.g. you find a new job and can't continue to invest that much time)

1.) It totally depends on the school, if they have such schedule for integration course. then you can do that..
2. ) It doesn't matter if you leave the course in the middle.. or you take pauses between modules..
There is only one advantage that if you complete the course within 2 years then half of the money you paid will be reimbursed otherwise it will cost normal 1.95€ per hour..

They charge per module.... each module consist of 100hrs

Thank you for your informative video. If I send my application to the regional office, do I have the option to choose the language school or they will assign it for me? The language schools around me are not that good and I really want to go to a very good language school that is 30 km away from my address of residence, so do you think this is possible?
you can choose only those schools which offer Integration course...
and you can decide yourself ..
I have an idea for a RUclips video for you. I'm originally from the US but I also hold German citizenship through my mother. I'm thinking of looking for a job in Germany. Whenever I look I see these notations in the job title: (m/f/d)
Coming from the US I don't know what this means. I recommend you do a RUclips video explaining what these mean. It would be very helpful for people from outside German coming into German to understand this notation.

Please can you tell if we actually needed to attend the classes and complete the hours even if you have done B1 from university. Is it possible to directly give the required exams without attending the classes
Then why bother going for this course just give the exam but you have to pay exam fee yourself.

according to this link. If you have category 27 visa and your husband is a PR holder then the maximum validity of your visa could be till the expiration of the passport.... As you have a dependent Visa so it is always depends on your spouse visa status..

2. What if my german is good enough can I directly take the language exam and living in germany (course and exam).
Aim: i want to skip 600 hr of language course and just want 100 hr of living in germany course.
1.) I already made a video on PR and bluecard. You can search for it. Maybe you will get your answers there
2.) Yes you can do that because they usually take a entrance test then and if they think that you have good german skills then they can directly put you in B1.2 and then you give your B1 exam and after that you start your living in Germany course and give that exam. If you give both exam and pass them . Then you will get the integration course.

I have one question, today I received the letter from Bundesamt which states that the validity of the letter is one year and the letter will expire on 24-02-2020. I want to ask that either I have to complete integration course before the expiry date or I must register before that expiry date and then I can finish it say in the mid of next year??

Your authorisation to attend the integration course is valid for one year. In the letter of
confirmation, under "Authorisation is valid until ...", you will find a date up until when you can
register for an integration course with a course provider. You should therefore register with the office
mentioned to you if applicable and submit your Certificate of Eligibility there. If no office was
mentioned to you, register as soon as possible with a course provider of your choice.
To ensure prompt participation in a course, the Federal Office can send you to a particular course
provider.
The course provider must then notify you of the probable date of the beginning of a course. The
course should start within six weeks of the date of your registration. The course provider must let
you know if no course is due to start within these three months. In the event of a change in course
provider the old course provider must return your Certificate of Eligibility.
Reimbursement of the contribution to the costs
==============================================
The Federal Office for Migration and Refugees can reimburse you for 50% of the contribution of
the costs which you have already paid if you have successfully taken the final examination after 8
December 2007. However, this only applies if no more than two years have passed between the
first issuance of confirmation of eligibility to attend the course and the completion of the final
examination. You will have to file an application to the competent regional office of the Federal
Office for Migration and Refugeesin order to receive reimbursement.

One question: I applied for it and did A2 while I was student in May 2018. I want to do B1 in August/Sep 2019 (not a student). Will it work or I have to apply again?
When did you start your integration course ?
So far What I understood from your problem that you want to take around 1 year pause between A2 and B1... I will answer this question later because I need to confirm something before I can give you a concrete answer ...
What if our university already had free DeutschKurs, can't we only get the history lessons or the B1 certification to later help in PR application or jobs securing? 🧐
In that case you can just give the exam of b1 if you want but then you don't need to enroll in Integration course.... and for the Oreintationkurs or Einbürgertest .. you can also do that yourself... Integration course will only make sense if you want to learn either from A1 - B1 + Oreintationkurs or only B1 + Oreintationkurs...

You can contact BAMF, but what I know that they only provide integration coruse with leben in deutschland but not with einbürgerung

You can check arbeitamts für agentur... may be you.find subsidie german course... don't worry you are doing great so far... this time shall pass and a day will come when you realize that this journey was worth the effort...
How long are lessons per day? Some say 45 minutes, some said 8 hours!?
1 hours is equal to 45 minutes... It depends on the school, they can offer 4 hours per day course which means 180 minutes. or 20hr per week (20hr = 900 minutes)
