Her voice's not declining. She just use another road to sing. With we see. We have some femme vocals with the same style. Those people stay freeze in the time when she sing in nightwish. But if we take the shows and albuns we can see how much she grow up and make her voice more versatil and powerful. It's not the voice but the style she use than make some strange to those people.

Still my favourite song after so many albums.
I love Tarja's slow song, but in order to be as great as old Nightwish she need to composing powerful face pace song like Wishmaster and Deep Silent Complete.

That's mostly up to others, she never did any composing for NW and has written maybe 2-3 songs completely on her own, they are still either written for her or with her. Of course she decides which to sing.
