I think it may be just an Xbox thing, but there’s currently a glitch where your storage box inventory can disappear 🫠 I lost 3 of 6 boxes including all my building material and medical supplies on day 12. They say the work around is to not name/label storage boxes. Just wanted to do an fyi so no one suffers like I did 😭

Base Day One is always interesting and entertaining. Congrats, glad he is healthy. Unfortunately you will get used to the no sleep thing. Always catch some z's when you can. Of course he is cute, babies usually take after their mom.

I'm on day 21 and have so many screamers due to forge that's running 24/7
I'm on day 6 now. No wandering horde, no zombie loot yet, but also very few animals. Saw one chicken and two rabbits until now, no deer or boar. I would have starved where there no snakes in the game
Get the Tracker perk, it solved my food problem
Go out at night time to find animals, I started seeing them after day 7
My day 7 horde had 3 bloody dire wolfs 😢 but after that, I saw my first deer
How works new screamer mechanic? I dont heard anything about changes :D

That's the beauty. I'd say for a starter, use an existing building, if you're super brave and want to learn the hard way, go base day one style :P

Skippy a massive glitch is roaming consoles right now, apparently if you build bases and put your loot inside crates/chests, and after loot respawns in the world, you will lose literally everything. That goes for farms, chests, workbenches, I just lost 48 hours of progress and so much loot. Cried my eyes out for 10 minutes before reading reviews. Lots of others are having the same problem.

I think you have a chunk reset. Are you building in pois? Pois do get reset it think.

@@Skippy0330 apparently it's only on Xbox, people are having the issue and responding on forums, it's everywhere pois and not. I built my base at a POI in the desert tho
Why always xbox. they had an issue too with those resets telltale. God that's frustrating
Why you use a spear over sledgehammer??? I find sledgehammer being much powerful
My first run through I decided to run clubs, it dosent have as much damage as sledges but uses far less stamina, plus the damage I find to be more than enough in clubs. I have also experimented with knives for a bit, and I think that if you put your skill points into the right areas they can actually be very strong. Sledges are Definitely probally the best overall though, huge damage and also can act as a crowd control tool. Only downside to them is the stamina usage, but that can be negligent with skill points later on.

Yes, they removed them from the game. You just collect water through the dew collector, or from looting and purifying in the fire

Nope. There is an option to change how many days before containers refill. You have to not be in the poi for that time to have it happen too
